Very rude, in other words unprofessional, unless they see $$ on your forehead...then they flip the switch

Been in business for long time. One stop shop for all your plans and permits need. Reasonably priced. Done several project with them and willgo Bach again

I paid this people to extend my driveway. They send out a corrupted person to tear down my driveway. It has been 2 months now. Justin has never shown up again. Never use this company. Dishonest and Fraudulent they do not keep contractors name on file. They use Justin who has a bond expire to do the job. They play games about neither of person is responsible for warranty the job. Law officiail needs to close them up for Fraud work.

Pretty much what the rest of the 1 stars are saying is true. I couldn't get a timely response from Elias on a QUOTE for a job. Never responded when he said he would. They either are too big of a load to handle or simply cannot. Shame to have such a great location right in front of the City inspections building and not be able to deliver a service.

HORRIBLE COMPANY. STOLE THOUSANDS! My general contractor used CG to submit a city application to convert my duplex into a triplex. Ilias won't return my calls, and I just got off the phone with Rod who tells me that I should have done my homework before purchasing the home.

I've had my application "in processing" for 6+ Months only to find out from a city arborist regarding a tree removal request that my home is not zoned to increase # of units.

For the last 6 months they lied to me saying that everything was going well, and that I'm almost to the finish line, then asked for another $1,000 last week for another level of necessary processing with the city. Now they are saying that they told my contractor that it wouldn't pass zoning reform, but were told to submit it anyways, which I believe is a false statement since they have been telling me everything is okay for the past half year, and a terrible business practice by Construction Concepts to accept my money for this project. At this time I haven't received any documentation to back up that claim. I asked that they remedy the situation with a full refund, after which I was put on hold for 15 minutes and then transferred to an extension voicemail and hung up on. Now they won't return my calls or emails.

Saw the Construction Concepts truck outside the permit office on Jefferson Ave. After a frustrating session in the permit office I decided to call to see if they could help. I was directed to Elias who was very helpful on the phone. He asked to schedule a time to visit our location and come up with a plan. Elias arrived promptly and instead of selling us something we didn't need, gave us some advice on what to do. Since we were already pretty far along he told us exactly how to get over the hump. We were floored. Everyone else came in asking for big money and no guarantee of results. We did exactly as he told us. Surprisingly he even followed up with us to check in to see how things went. All I can tell you is next time we need to go through the permit and building process; Elias and Construction Concepts will be our first call. Hopefully all of you will have as incredible an experience as we have had!

Elias never responds, never calls back when he says he will. If I could leave this place no stars I would. They really should be more professional. Poor customer service to say the least. If you can find someone else to give your business to do so. These people charge more than their services are worth, and take forever to get things done. That’s if they ever even call you back.

If I could give them a zero I would. Elias, is one of the most unresponsive, unprofessional people I've met. I hired him to work on a project and he tried to over charge me triple his original quote. Then I had to follow up numerous times via text, email and calls. I had to visit their office to get a response. Bottom line is he never did anything and wasted over three weeks of my time. I saw him answer phone calls and just blow people off. I hope to see them go out of business so no one has their time or money wasted. Avoid at all costs!!! Their office environment was dirty and run down that should have been the first clue.

Elias got 3 different projects completed for me. The first job he was hired for, his price was 1/5 of other quotes. His company has always come thru for us. He is extremely busy so be patient. I’ve been using his company since 2003 and will continue to use Construction Concepts.
Elias is my first call now. Really great guy. Great company.

We are currently in the process of using them for one of our new residential construction permits and they provide weekly updates, a flow chart, and their services have been worth every penny. The customer service is top notch and so above what we are receiving from another permit company. Our company will definitely be using Construction Concepts from this point forward on all our projects. Highly recommend their services!

This place stole $6000 from me without designing anything for me. Just warning everyone. I hired them without vetting the company because they sit across from the city hall. Didn’t know they are not licensed architect. The owner Elias Rodriguez sat down with me for about 30 minutes to discuss my plan. He then charged $6000 on my card before I left. That was it. They just gave me run around since then month after month without doing any work. I finally moved on. Just making future clients aware. I don’t have time to go after this little fish.

Do not pay him until he finishes your project. It will not get done.

My wife and I are extremely happy with the transformation of our exterior, all done by Tolteca. We worked with Noel who was a great listener and was determined to make sure we were satisfied. Soffit replacement, roof replacement, repair of damaged areas, and new gutters were all handled by the team. And, the price was fair and communication very good.

These guys did a great job. We needed major repairs on our soffets, roof, and gutters, and they knocked it out of the park! It looks so good. Communication was great. We're hoping to do more projects with them in the future

Our 100+ year old Arts and Crafts house need extensive outdoor repairs and repainting. Having seen the quality work Tolteca did on our neighbors house, we chose them to do the work we needed. We couldn't be happier! Everything was perfectly done and they were so nice to work with. Highly recommend Tolteca!
