TAB did a great job for me recently on a plumbing issue we had. We had a clog that caused sewage to seep out of the bottom of the toilets. It was a late Friday night, and our landlord doesn't respond to calls on weekends, so out of desperation we called Roto Rooter. They charged an astronomical $515 to auger the line and then camera it once they thought the clog was unclogged. Well, the camera service ended in about 5 minutes when they said the lines were in such poor shape that they could not camera them. The house is 45 years old and I'm sure all the other old houses in DFW with original lines are in about the same shape - surely there is a better approach than to offer an included camera service and then have the excuse that you can't actually camera them due to the poor shape of the lines? I would think this would be a problem at pretty much every house they visit.

Any who, the clog wasn't fixed with the first visit anyways. The toilets backed up again same day. We had to call Roto Rooter back, and a different tech worked on the clog some more. This tech said the lines are just in bad shape and this is the best it would get, and that they'd be happy to talk to the landlord to clean the lines and investigate further (this was all on our dime at this point, not the landlord's). The tech told us to not flush any paper and that they'd be in touch to see about getting the landlord to do a real repair. The toilets did at least work and gave us no further trouble for the day....

Next day, the washing machine emptied its load of water and that backed up into the kitchen sink and overflowed the drainpipe in the laundry room, getting water all over the floor. The washing machine is the furthest part of the sewer from the street, so it has to go past the kitchen sink and then ties into the main servicing the bathrooms and such on its journey out. Evidently, the initial clogged must have caused more clogs to work their way up the stretch of pipe to the kitchen & washer, because the washer was working fine before the initial issues started.

Monday rolled around and we expressed urgency to the landlord, who sent TAB. Thankfully, John wanted to do the right thing and actually fix the problem, unlike so many other plumbing vendors we have dealt with who just unclog and leave. They spent several hours jetting the lines and then running the camera through them to verify all was good. No plumber we have been sent before has done that. He truly wanted to fix the problem and that was what matters. Also, TAB didn't leave any cleanouts open. John also took a look and fixed my garage door while he was there, which had nothing to do with the service call at all.

This is someone you actually want to work on your house when you're in a tight spot and need the work performed quickly and correctly.

We had TAB perform a wine refrig install and a create some custom shelving. Great group of guys…very professional and do quality work…shout out to Oscar for his work. Looks great. Thank you.

TAB Home Services is the absolute best of the best. Their website states they pride themselves on their EXTRAORDINARY TECHS…and my opinion is you can certainly take that to the bank! From speaking with John whom I believe is a manager/coordinator but could easily be the owner with his wonderful customer services and his direct upfront and honest responses to your questions. He was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Antonio was the technician assigned to my repair and not only was he at my door very early in the four hour window provided he was courteous and professional. His workmanship with my plumbing repairs was efficient and top notch. (Diagnosed a leaking toilet and replaced the wax ring)

We worked with Darden-Hines Design +Build to completely remodel three bathrooms and were so pleased with the results that we hired them again a few months later for our total kitchen renovation. The bathrooms turned out stunning and were completed on schedule, so we went into the kitchen project with high expectations—and they delivered!

The kitchen plans were completed quickly. We were working under a tight deadline due to an upcoming trip. Aaron assured us the project would be finished on time, and despite the uncertainties that can come with construction contracts, everything was completed as promised. The crew was always very professional, communication was excellent, and we really appreciated the daily updates on their portal with photos, and notes showing progress. Their design input was incredibly helpful throughout the process.

Overall, we truly enjoyed working with DH Company and would confidently recommend them 100%.

DHDB takes on complex issues that can be quite intimidating. DHDB brought our 1950s house up to the modern age without a complete teardown, fixing our mechanicals, electrical, and structural issues along with updating a few things along the way. We came back to them for a pool project, and once again, they built exactly what we wanted.

Aaron and DHDB were incredible to work with for our kitchen remodel. An undetected water leak in our kitchen forced us to redo kitchen flooring, living room flooring and kitchen cabinets. From helping us navigate the insurance obstacles, sourcing matching flooring, and working through several kitchen design iterations, we couldn’t be happier with DHDB process and outcome.

Working with Aaron was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Our project--doing an addition to a small old house in a conservation district--had all kinds of challenges and constraints: the site, the budget, the timing, the permits. But throughout the process, Aaron and Karl made it easy and even fun. We would work with them again in a heartbeat. In fact, our recommendation was so enthusiastic that our next-door neighbor chose Darden-Hines for her project as well. One of the great things about working with them (unfortunately very rare among contractors) was the communication: prompt, clear, consistent, 100% reliable. We always knew exactly what was happening, when, why and how much. I fully expect that it will only be a few years until they start working exclusively on megamansions in the Park Cities and Beverly Hills, so if you have a small or medium-sized project (as we did), I would book them while you still can.
