Here at LaTour Tree we work with a plethora of different companies. I can confidently say that every time I work with Higher Ground, or refer them to my clients, the feedback is raving. They are honest, quick to respond, and put a lot of care and dedication into their work. I am thankful for the relationship I have with Higher Ground and look forward to many more years of working together.

I was dealt a bad hand. The sod my builder installed was simply poor quality Bermuda. Furthermore, too much sand was used to "level" my yard prior to the sod installation. I've had several Bermuda yards over the years and all seem to look fairly nice over time with regular watering and a bit of fertilizer. Not this yard. In fact, I tried everything from upgrading my sprinkler system to simply replacing large areas of sod. Nothing I tried seem to work. I just kept spending and spending with nothing to show for it. My lawn mowing service offered a fertilization service, but that too yielded anemic result as it was a one size fits all solution. I was at my wits end.

One day, I did a Google search and found Higher Ground; a company specializing in fertilization. I read the long succession of 5-star reviews and decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. JP spent lots of one on one time with me listening to my complaints with the lawn and coming up with a custom solution. After a couple of weeks, my lawn "woke up"! Yes, my lawn was literally transformed over a two week span.

I was convinced I'd finally found the right company. In addition to the customized program, JP set up a watering program and explained in simple terms how it would help transform the lawn. It worked.

Today, my lawn looks better than it has ever looked. I'm so glad I made that first call to Higher Ground. If my story is similar to yours, don't hesitate. Pick up the phone and call Higher Ground. You won't regret it.

Higher Ground services are like no other. Their team is magnificent. This is not just a job for them it’s a ministry. They truly care about their customers needs. My lawn was in horrible shape and I was not convinced they could restore it without doing a complete makeover. The presented me with the plan and Glory to God my yard is looking better than I expected. I am very pleased.

Higher Ground has installed my outdoor Christmas lights for multiple years and they do exemplary work and are very dedicated to achieving the best result possible. They are simply the very best!! If there is an issue with the timers or the lights themselves as this type of lighting seems to be prone to needing a lot of hands on care, the owner himself is here really fast without question to fix any issue Exceptional service all the way through removing the lights after the holidays.

We have switched to Higher Ground because our previous lawn care company was not spraying our church lawn honestly. Higher Ground gave us a written estimate with a aerial photo and measurements of the property. They respond promptly to inquiries and questions. The price was very reasonable. They have come and treated our lawn twice and both times, we've seen them through our surveillance cameras to be doing their job as written and promised. They were kind enough to lock up our gate after the treatments. So far, we are happy with their service.

We've used Higher Ground for 2 years now and our yard has never been better. We had so many weeds when we purchased our house and no way to get on top of them until we contacted JP. The best part of being a small business is that JP knows his clients by name and really works with you to give you the yard that you want. Highly recommend.

JP and his team have done a wonderful job bringing our yard back to life after it was put through the ringer during foundation repairs to our home, and they did a wonderful job on our outside lighting. They are professional, kind, courteous, and keep the work area very neat. We have dealt with many workers around our house in the last 6 months or so, but Higher Ground cannot even compare to others. They take pride in their work and treat your home/yard as if it were their own. This kind of professionalism is hard to come by these days. I highly recommend Higher Ground!

I cannot say enough good things about Higher Ground!! JP (the owner) came and evaluated my lawn earlier this year, which had unfortunately suffered from much neglect by the previous owner. Lots of weeds and crab grass despite having Zoysia grass (which, if you know anything about grass, is really great quality grass). JP came up with a great program to rehab my lawn and his guys have been nothing but a pleasure to work with. They’re very thorough and have really made drastic improvements to the quality of my yard. I couldn’t be happier.

I used JP and his team to install my Christmas lights this year, and they did an AMAZING job! The guys showed up at exactly 8am as promised on a Saturday and worked quickly, efficiently, and respected my yard (& tolerated my barking dogs!). There were very professional, covered their cords, and used a timer system that could access from my phone if I wanted to change the on/off times at any time. I had one tiny issue that they resolved immediately with the owner himself coming by to make sure all was perfect! I would absolutely recommend them as JP, Josh, and the team were easy to work with, professional, and a great value for the service provided.

We love working with Higher Ground! First and most importantly - Their product is effective! They turned our back yard from a weed infested mess into a beautiful space again in just a few weeks. Second - They are great at communicating and getting back to you in a timely manner. We get text notifications the day before a treatment is done and any time we have questions, they get right back to us same day or next. It was also super easy to start using them as a new customer with the online signup.

I could not be more grateful that I found Higher Ground!! As an interior designer and holiday decorator, I will never use anyone else. I hired them for a client’s home for Christmas to do the outdoor lights and decor installation as well as the indoor garland and Christmas tree, and it was absolutely stunning. My client joked that she wanted astronauts to see her lights from space, and I was blown away that HG DELIVERED!!! The work was impeccable, and they were so easy to work with. I appreciated JP’s expertise and ability to work through and execute specific design details with me. The process on my end was seamless, which allowed me to focus on other aspects of the project. The guys periodically stopped by to make sure everything was working correctly, and when the weather caused a few minor issues, they were there almost immediately.

Aside from their talent and efficiency, it was huge a blessing to work with such genuine people. They were communicative, caring, kind, and considerate… JP especially. I can’t imagine anyone I’d rather work with than JP. Even when I had some personal issues causing delays, JP was not only patient and understanding, but he also checked in on me and offered support. It was a true testament to his character and the wonderful people at HG. I am so grateful to have found a team of positive, admirable people of integrity who also produce amazing design work. Company was referred to me by my landscaping provider. Called the number, quickly set me ip with a home visit to provide a custom estimate. On site, the person analyzed the grass, sprinkler schedule and provided information and beat practices for watering.

Since this was a newly constructed homesite, I opted for an annual service plan. Receiving the estimate and providing payment was very easy and stress free. This was a big concern since I travel frequently I didn’t want to contract a service where I had to be home.

Since Higher Ground has started maintaining my yard it had definitely grown well. The body and texture of the grass is full and grass bounces back after you step on it. Ive had my neighbor, the Door dash, and Prime delivery comment positively on the grass.
The color Is darker then most yards in my immediate vicinity.

Overall this is a great company and well worth the charges. They are quick to respond to any seasonal pest issues and are thorough in their work!!

JP and his team do excellent work. They are caring and provide a homestyle customer experience with every visit. The details they leave after each treatment is informative and helpful. My yard had its best year yet and my trees produced fruit for the first time in three years.

After looking for lawn care companies that could help us with weeds that took over our lawn, I found Higher Ground Lawn Care & Landscape Lighting through their high reviews. I spoke to JP to learn of the options we had moving forward and got to meet him in person the first time him and Sonny, our lawn care specialist, arrived. JP is very knowledgeable and gave me tips and suggestions towards proper maintenance of our property.

Fast forward a couple treatments and working with Sonny, have seen improvements after applications of their pre/post emergent, fertilizer, and recommendations towards care for our lawn. Sonny is very knowledgeable, can identify the various types of weeds and which applications are needed to control their growth. He was also kind towards our property as if it were his own and made sure to clean and lock up after he was finished every time.

This company lives up to their reputation, do excellent work, and I hope to update my Google review as I continue working with the team at Higher Ground Lawn Care and see more improvements on our lawn.

Higher Ground has done an amazing job on my lawn in a very short time. Several of my neighbor's yards that were shot up with nitro and other "quick" green-up products are no longer green or healthy. Thanks to Higher Ground, my hard is green, healthy and thriving! My lawn is less than six months old, but looks healthy and mature!
