So I am new to the Midlothian area. I found out about higher ground from my yard service guy @beatylawncare. HG came highly recommended and if I must say I am blown away by the results of just one single treatment. I did say I just moved here....guys and gals it took me years to get weeds out of my old yard that Higher Ground has done with one application. I spent a lot of money on brand name fertilizer at the local Home Depot. I don’t know what organic mix they have but crab grass aka grassy grass has been my worst enemy. Upon closing on new home and moving in there were just too many dandelion and gassy grass weeds to count. Now I am only at the second phase today of their aggressive treatment plan to apply a second round then fertilize the grass. I’ve seen so much improvement from the first applied about 10 days ago. Excited to see what it looks like in 2 more weeks! Normally I don’t leave a review on companies this fast! However when HG does something that took me years to do and I can just sit back and watch my yard grow just weeks upon moving in. This company deserves my efforts to spread the word of their work on them. I am now looking at their full arrangement of services now they offer lol. Nothing like finally being able to host an event (once this covid-19 passes of course 🤦🏼‍♂️) with family and friends. Thank you Higher Ground

They were very polite and courteous, but were highest of the estimates I received for lawn fertilization @ $135 down then $67.50 every other month.

Other companies offering same services were around $110 down then $40 per every other month.

They were cheaper for irrigation inspection $90 estimate, plus any other repairs.

Great service, very knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I would recommend anyone to higher ground lawn care if you're looking for that personalized service feel. I can tell the difference already even before completing my first season with higher ground. Thank you JP, you've done a great job!

I've had TruGreen care for my lawn previously and on many occasions my friends and myself have watched the tech sit in their truck, write the service ticket to put on the door and drive away without doing the service!

Again this yearm Higher Ground did a great job on the Christmas lights in our large tree. They took time to be sure everything worked and came by one evening to be sure they were done right.The people at Higher Ground are easy to work with and always willing to "fix" something if anything fails. It would be almost impossible to find a better company or people. We have used them for years and are always pleased.

Higher Ground is extremely professional and caring about your lawn. They are very courteous and give you specific recommendations about repair, establishment, and maintenance. The prices are very reasonable (especially once your figure out how much it costs to spray for weeds, and lay down fertilizer, plus all the equipment). Higher Ground installed my holiday lights. JP, the owner is super friendly and responsive. Their process from quote to install to invoice was fast and easy. I’ll use them next year and recommend them highly!

This is our first year doing Christmas lights, and using Higher Ground. We chose them first because of their responsiveness. We reached out to several companies in the beginning, and they were the only ones that answered our questions in a reasonable amount of time.

The entire process was easy and professional from start to finish. Even after the lights were installed, one of our breakers tripped, no fault of this company. But it made the timer of our lights be off by hours. I mentioned it to them, and someone came out to fix it later that same day.

We will be using them every year as far as I'm concerned and highly recommend them.

JP does an awesome job! He's honest, hard working, and will get your lawn looking great. JP was able to easily get rid of the Dallas grass that had taken over my yard. Other companies told me I wouldn't be able to treat the Dallas grass. Within a week or two it was gone and my yard looked great. I highly recommend Higher Ground!

This is my first season with Higher Ground Lawn Care and just in the first two months my lawn is looking better than it has in years. My previous nationally advertised lawn care service was prepaid for annual service and was five months into this season without ever stepping foot on my property. Lots of apologies, excuses, and efforts to sell me more services is all I got from them. I went searching for a local company that would deliver what they promised, keep scheduled appointments, return your call or text ( usually with just a few minutes ) and that is truly what I have experienced with JP at Higher Ground. JP is very knowledgeable about lawn care and continues to educate himself about new products and methods to provide you with a healthy, great looking lawn. JP and his team at Higher Ground installed our christmas lights this year for us and we couldn't be happier. We hired someone else last year instead of going with his company, and what a mistake that was. JP is so quick to respond, very professional, and they know what they are doing. Since Higher Ground Lawn Service have been treating my lawn for weeds, I honestly can attest that the treatment plan is excellent. In the past 2 years after allowing a well known lawn treatment service to fertilize and provide weed control service I was extremely disappointed and frustrated! The grass was thick but it wasn’t vibrant.
However after seeking a quality service I was blessed to express my concerns to JP and be reassured thru his knowledge and experience that my lawn would be weed free and thrive in the process.
My lawn has received 3 treatments and I marvel at what I see, there are NO WEEDS( Dallisgrass
doesn’t stand a chance against this treatment) and my lawn is not only thick but it now has vitality!
Also I appreciate the great service Molly provides in each application of the prescribed treatment, which entails much more than weed control.
