I am not usually one to write a review - but Scapes was beyond great! After the project was completed we saw some erosion issues on a couple of our beds from rain runoff. Scapes and Russell were very proactive and came right out to our home and fixed the situation. They even installed additional materials. This was on top of a complete landscape re-do that was already fantastic. Who does that? A company with integrity! USE SCAPES! They EXCEEDED our expectations.

I cannot possibly put in to words how amazing our experience was with Scapes, Inc. Russell and his team are fantastic to work with. We hired them to take our non-existent landscaping on our newly remodeled house, and they knocked it out of the park. We met with Russell to tell him our vision for the property, and his architects made it happen. They took our opinions and design ideas in to consideration and made our dream in to a reality. They were timely, professional, knowledgeable, and overall did a phenomenal job. I would have no problem recommending them to all of my family and friends.

Scapes Inc did a marvelous job on our landscape. The curb appeal is so inviting now. Russell and Alexis were wonderful to work with. They were on time, they have a real eye for which plants and flowers look good together.

Scapes Inc rebuilt our front and back yard - The Designer we worked with was wonderful, and translated our wants into a beautiful design. The entire team did fast, efficient and beautiful work - We will recommend them to anyone needing work done, and will use them for any future landscaping help!

Well thought out design, excellent project management, fast quality work, and flexibility as I changed a few things. This project could not have gone more smoothly.

We loved working with Scapes Inc on our backyard transformation project. I was so happy to work with their landscape architect Amy. She offered us different designs for the pool and custom shapes to fit our little yard, incorporating in the same time decorative trees and other plants to create our private oasis. The production manager Russel made sure everything was done professionally and in a timely manner - down to the last detail. We would definitely work with them again.

I cannot in good conscience recommend Scapes Landscaping. Things started out well with Scapes Landscaping, but quickly went downhill. We hired Scapes to design an outdoor kitchen, which they did very well. The design and YouTube video were very impressive; however, the construction team did not keep to the original design and communicated updates poorly. The contract calls for weekly on-site meetings, but meetings were infrequent and always at the last minute. Our project took significantly longer than originally projected. The change in countertop material was blamed for the delay, but the change in countertop material was due to a design error on their part, which they did not discover until trying to order the countertop. Additionally, the crew left their materials strewn throughout our yard for months and killed a lot of grass. We have also spent months cleaning up all of the rocks and chips they left behind.

Upon finishing, I noticed that our outdoor trash can is crooked. Scapes originally said they would come to fix it. It has been 3 months and although I have reached out multiple times, no one has come to fix it. The crew also installed an outdoor outlet which deviated from the original plans and it now constantly trips and is not usable. After meeting with multiple companies, I am quite disappointed in the turnout of our project and the high expense we paid for it. I recommend finding another contractor if you are looking to add a backyard kitchen, but if you do use Scapes, please check your final bill as they charged us for almost $1,000 of materials that were never supplied. They did remove the cost once we pointed it out, but it is still frustrating.

We hired Scapes Inc. to transform our front yard, and Davey managed the entire process through brainstorming, planning, execution, and follow up. Davey was adept at listening to our somewhat scattershot ideas, and came back with suggested design elements that were brilliant. I'll admit it - this was a big project from our perspective, and wow....it turned out so great! The new front patio, rock river bed, trees, irrigation and drainage work blends in as if part of the original house construction. Davey was eager to create something that would be impressive, and he did not disappoint. My thanks to both Davey and Russell for helping us fine tune the budget without detracting from the overall vision. Another important fact about Scapes Inc...the service we received after the project was just as impressive. Mother Nature wreaked havoc on our new landscaping not once....not twice...but three times (June/July 2016 summer storms). With each storm issue, Russell and Davey immediately dispatched crews to upright the trees. Without a doubt, we will use Scapes Inc. to transform our back yard as well. Great company, great people, and great service. Thank you for transforming our home!

Russell and his team were fabulous. Our project was a "down to the studs" renovation of our front and back yard, as well as resurface of the pool. Russel is creative, a great communicator, always available and honest. His project has completely transformed the look of our house, and most certainly it has increased in value. I look forward to continuing our work with Russell and Scapes as they maintain their original installation for years to come.

Scales did it again. Transformed my backyard into a paradise! Russell’s eye and design and unbelievable service is is inexplicable and nothing short of incredible.

We used Scapes to do our backyard after a pool install in 2014, and it was the best investment we have ever done. The 19 trees planted have grown into a beautiful and private outdoor space. We just had the front of our home updated with beautifully sculpted hedges of miniature holly and boxwood, and Russell did some refreshing of our backyard as well. One day and the landscaping is completely fresh and beautiful, it feels like a walk in the arboretum. Russell and Davey are fantastic, the work they do is beautiful, and they are both such wonderful people. Could not recommend this business more highly.

Scapes did an excellent job with our yard, deck and outdoor pergola after we added a new garage/backhouse. They expanded our deck, added a tv/dining area, turfed the backyard, and added lovely details throughout (such as the jasmine trellis, bench seating) as well as trees/landscaping update in our front and side yards. We were so pleased with how beautiful and functional the space became! Davey and Reza were very responsive and friendly to work with.

We used scapes for our front back and side yards! We had a LOT we wanted to do. We basically wanted to start over from scratch and needed irrigation, leveling, sod, turf, tree (plus tree removal), reinforcement of the fence/staining, custom built grill area, and a new fireplace to name a few. There was a LOT to coordinate between many different people. Scapes was worth every penny in having a team manage such a big project. I wanted to be involved in a lot of the tile picking and design elements and they patiently involved me in any and all decisions. The team was friendly, flexible and communicated very well. They were great from 3D design to completion. I highly recommend this company! They have a great attention to detail and no corners were cut. We feel confident this will last us for many years!
