We used Timberline (under prior ownership) on multiple properties weekly for years but cancelled in 2018. Service went downhill after the company was sold around 2016. The lawn care was spotty, different people always showed up, the treatment schedule was inconsistent, communication and accounting was poor, and the owner/manager never could really resolve or prevent problems. With so many landscaping companies out there, I cannot recommend using Timberline at this time.
Response: Yes, this is a real review. As an example, Timberline charged us $900 in August 2018 for weekly services on multiple properties that they neglected to bill in a timely manner as the service was done.

After 10 minutes of providing contact details and describing the nature of the project to an answering/screening service, I had to repeat it when I was subsequently forwarded to the Dallas office. About 20 minutes after I started all of this, I finally scheduled an appointment for today at 1 pm and it is now 2:15 and I have not had anyone show up or call. According to the gallery, they do good work. My experience is not good and I won't be using their services. I've wasted too much time to be at square 1 again. I think if they can't make the first meeting, I'm not confident in the follow-up. I don't like chasing people down who have appointments.

We have been customers for 8+ years and have always been impressed with the unique designs, professional service and expertise. We enjoy both front and back yards daily! Our friends & family refer to them as an oasis!

As a project manager for the client of a Greg Alford custom home, I have been fortunate enough to meet Russell Gibson and his team at Scapes Incorporated. Russell has taken over a complex landscaping design, and completed a work of art for the client and home builder. Russell Gibson will be my only landscaping contact in the future.

The scapes team was excellent to work with from start to finish. They were timely, respectful and responsive to changing requests! They communicated ever step along the way. Our project had a water leak and the team immediately came over and figured it out to get it to stop even on a holiday weekend. They understand their business and gave us exactly what we were hoping for, ahead of schedule.

Scapes designed and installed a parking pad and gate for us about a year ago. Our parking pad had some issues after the initial install, but Russell went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed to our satisfaction and that we were happy with our product. Top notch customer service! It is so refreshing to find a landscaping company that values its customers and stands behind its products. I would recommend them highly!

We meet with several landscape companies, before choosing Scapes Inc. They actually listened to us and developed a plan that was unique to our home. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional. We will definitely use Scapes Inc. again!!

We are very happy we hired Scapes, Inc. to remodel our front porch. They demolished the existing steps and rebuilt them and recovered the area with stone. It gave our house a much needed facelift. We had hired them about a year earlier to plant mature shrubs in our backyard. I came home one day to find that they had dug completely around our sprinkler system and were using small hand tools to make sure they did not cut it. (They confessed to have broken one and fixed it immediately.) They are not the cheapest option, but I have found that you get what you pay for. I believe that I have received a great value for their work, considering the quality ... without the headache that comes with cheaper options. Highly recommend. Will hire them again.

Using a high-end level of software and quality to meet the clients needs by Scapes inc make me surprised as an architect. I highly recommend this professional team to design & perform your dream landscape.

Russell worked with us very closely and if we did not like anything he made sure to take care of the issue. We had our front yard done with them and they have done a great job. They planted some of our magnolia trees from from yard to backyard and did not charge any extra although I do wish they had asked where to plant them :) since they were all planted on one side of the house but again they did it without any extra charge so I am still thankful to them for that. They definitely care about their customers and work with them to keep them happy. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work guys !!

Scapes was amazing. Recently completed an overhaul of front and back yard around the pool. I couldn't be happier. I had no idea our house could look like that. Two neighbors have already called asking for proposals. Davey is great to work with and the whole team was on-time and efficient. I highly recommend giving them a shot.

We have been blessed to have been associated with Russell Gibson, the owner of Scapes landscaping on each of these price points of homes and look forward to many more years working with Scapes. What I will say about Russell and his crews is that I have never employeed a landscape company that provides such detailed and correct designs, quality plantings, professional and timely crews and most important is the service that he offers to our clients and our employees. Our clients are demanding and we both have very high expectations and Russell has never let us down. Seldom do you come in contact with such a company that over communicates as Russell does. We did not have a positive experience with Scapes. We had to repeat the estimating/consultation process 2-3 times with different folks and spent $1,000 on a design plan only to get a proposal that was twice our budget/expectation. They offered to slash pricing nearly in half, which seemed a little odd for a business that should have relatively competitive margins. Ultimately we were ready to move forward with a revised contract but got no response. I'm guess they were busy and I'm glad we did not select this company because something did not feel right.
