Prompt arrival (even during snow). I felt that for the $159 fee, they should have cleaned more than just the firebox...never cleaned above the flue or up the chimney to the cap. I called the office and was told that they don't do that, just up to the flue. The tech did get up on the roof to inspect the chimney cap and flashing. Added one line to the invoice "everything up top ok" (or similar). We know we have issues with the flashing and our cap needs to be extended to draw more air from the fireplace. Just a bit disappointed. We have a very clean firebox, however.

I had 3 companies bid on my job. The chimney sweep did perfect work, promptly and were polite and professional. The first two bids were $5,000 and $7,000. Chimney Sweep did the job for $300. Watch out for Charlatans in the Chimney service industry in our area. I give The Chimney Sweep highest marks. They have been in business for decades by just doing the right thing.

Excellent service. The Chimney Sweep guy came to my house, was very thorough with inspecting our chimney, and even climbed up on the roof to inspect the chimney. He explained to me exactly how to work my gas log fireplace and I was very impressed with the service I received. I highly recommend them.

The technician that cleaned our gas log fireplace communicated efficiently, was pleasant to work with, cleaned up after himself and made our fireplace sparkle! I would use The Chimney Sweep again!

The Chimney Sweep team is very professional. Adrian came out the other day to install a new fire wall, but when it was removed, he noticed a large, concerning, rust hole in the firewall.

He explained the reasons for replacing the chimney, the costs, the work involved, and sent us an invoice.

The Chimney Sweep was contracted by our Roofing Company to repair our chimney after our new roof was put on in June. They did such a fantastic job with the repair, so I made sure to grab their card for later use. With the winter approaching I was concerned that our wood burning fireplace may not be in proper working order. Our house is 10 years old, and we use our fireplace fairly often and it has never been cleaned. I scheduled an appointment for an inspection and cleaning if needed. Josh called me to let me know he was on his way and gave me an ETA. He arrived when he said he would and got right to work. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and answered all my questions. We didn't need our chimney cleaned just yet, but I will be calling to schedule another appointment when we do. They are very professional and do amazing work, I highly recommend.

When TJ visited, he advised us we had several little cracks and the gas pipe needed to be replaced. A plumber had to come out to replace the pipe coming from below the stone. We had a small gas leak! TJ came back out and finished the repairs. He had to cut stones and put the floor of the fireplace back together. Our fireplace looks new again. We are very happy with Chimney Sweep and TJ.

We have use The Chimney Sweep to clean out dryer vent for years; it is an annual tradition. It is amazing how much lint I see coming out as they clean. We feel safe knowing a dryer vent fire won't be happening for us. The price is right, they are on time, do a great job and friendly.
