I’ve been a preferred customer for 4 years, and left very good reviews in the past. Not this time! I had a slab leak that required digging. The quality of work is questionable. The associates doing the digging spoke zero English. And now almost a week later and they have not come to put the 3 foot mound of dirt back in the hole that they dug. No return phone calls. I made the mistake based on positive past experience to pay for the work when they started. Don’t do it, once they get the money you don’t hear from them again. Now I’m going to see what options I have to dispute the payment

Very nice, knowledgable, respectful and professional person. Answered all my husband’s tech questions and kept us informed of his coming and going when it was necessary. Bottom line the System is now cooling consistently as the weather pattern heads into a more average Texas 100 degree days. As hubs works nights, he’ll be able to sleep comfortably during the day. Had to get my AC replaced and it was an exceptional experience. Worked with Andy and he was clear on communication from the very beginning all the way through. Helped me with the insurance aspect of it all and helped me with support even after it was all installed. I would recommend this company for anyone. Overall a decent experience. If it wasnt such a large install I would have given 3 stars, but they were here for a long time and did everything else well.

I'll have to go back through and paint the cover hiding the line, its very far off from the color of the house and has some sort of staining going on, and I'll have to seal the hole at the top.

I've used Strittmatter for a kitchen leak and installation of a new faucet. An emergency repair to my furnace and again for my AC unit. Today was to fix my water heater when the contractor assigned by the builder refused to repair my water heater. Thank God that I am a Strittmatter customer, they were able to get me a tech right away who did an awesome job to repair and give me pointers on keeping my water heater in good shape. All of the techs are respectful, professional, helpful, they clean up when they are done. The office staff are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this company and hats off to Hunter and Brandon for being so awesome.
Update: 2/23/23 On a regular scheduled maintenance for my AC system, tech noticed that my capacitor was on the low range and recommended replacement. Even though we just got through a freeze, yesterday's temp was 85! I want to make sure we can handle warmer weather without any issues. Thanks to Strittmatter and tech Kaileb, I know I will have a worry free summer and ready for TX hot temps.
Update 10/27/23 Tech Kaileb was here today to do my regular scheduled maintenance for my Heating system. Everything checked ok and ready for another TX Winter. Thanks to regular maintenance I don't have to suffer any emergency repairs!
Update 3/27/25 Lauren was here today to my regular AC Maintenance. Everything checked and ready for Summer Heat. She is an amazing tech and will definitely have her listed as a favorite tech.
Update 10/1/25: Adolfo Zamarripa performed the annual Winter maintenance on my Furnace. He is professional, personable and a great listener. Because this was his 1st time at my home, I filled him in on what past issues were and if he could make sure to check those for me. He did a thorough job, forwarded me copies of the photo results and gave excellent feedback. Good timing as it looks like we might hit some low temps in Oct, great peace of mind to know my system will not have any issues.
11/18/2025: Back in 2022 the TP valve blew out and emptied out my water heater on the grass and to the gutter. At the time I had only 2 more years on the warranty. Brandon made a great suggestion to look into an all electric water heater that is not a metal tank, no TP valve, no expansion tank since it's not under pressure. Fast forward to 11/7/25 when my water heater started leaking again. The TP valve and expansion tank were needing to be replaced and I made the decision to get a new water heater. Thanks to Frymire' s tech David Patchell and their President Sean Weeks, I got a great deal on the Essency EXR and a 10 year Parts & Labor Warranty. The tank on the Essency is warranted for 20 years by the mfg.
While David had to do some running around to get me the 2nd generation EXR, he was able to set up the installation on 11/18. By the end of the day, he got the old water heater out and the Essency EXR installed.
David is very meticulous in his work, he explained all the work he did and even went over the operation of the Essency Smart Panel. I was able to load the app, pair it and register the water heater right away. The final result was a picture worthy installation. Very clean, all the wiring and plumbing diagram perfect! He also did a great job in the haul away and clean up of my garage.
David is very professional, easy to work with, has a great work ethic and an attention to detail that you don't often see anymore. He made sure everything was working before he left. Because of this he gave me great peace of mind doing this job. I highly recommend him for any plumbing job that you need.

Patricio Blanco was our technician and he did such a thorough inspection. He found the issue, educated us, and we ended up getting a membership and also having additional services done in a few weeks. He was so polite, genuine, and kind. He made us feel cared about, left us with so much peace of mind, and more importantly a cooler home! Service was above and beyond excellent. After reading his other reviews, it shows he provides outstanding service consistently!! Highly recommend him, this man deserves a promotion!

Received call when technician on the way. technician arrived promptly. When done explained review of system for the routine maintenance and provided suggest on things that need attention.

Was willing to do a day of evaluation of HVAC from home inspection so we could sell our house.

Professional and very reasonable to talk to.

I was specific in my request for an air quality test, as noted as a service on your website, and stated we needed to test for an odor from recently installed spray foam in our attic. The odor is strong and noxious and the company we used is not cooperating with us.

The tech showed up and said they don’t do that kind of testing. That was disappointing. Perhaps using a real human instead of an AI bot would have made that communication more efficient.

Update 2 & 3: More than 2 (now 4) weeks and still no contact. If you aren't going to stand behind your work, then don't have employees like Brandon Watts promising refunds for damages you cause.
Paid 17k but they won't refund less than $400 for a repair they caused.

A review for the work done at my parents house: The work itself was mostly fine but they promised them a refund because failure to properly clear the lines after the repair resulted in the washing machine needing repairs. The initial refund was promised around July 7th. Two months and numerous calls later and they just keep promising the refund will be processed in a few days.

They stated that they stand behind their work but that is not the case. Horrible way to treat a customer that paid them over 17k when the refund is less than $400.

Edit*** After this review i received quick resolution. I am bumping it up to a 3 star because it shouldn't take a negative review to get an issue resolved.

I have used Strittmatter for 12 years and always had great service until now. We called them out for a blocked main line that turned into a full sewer line replacement. Our initial plumber, Moe, was great. Very professional and answered all of our questions. The next week they began work, everything was going pretty smooth and then all communication stopped. We had to call several times to get the backfill done. We were told since we got the main line replaced they would refund the $500 charge for the drain cleaning. As of this review there has been no refund and the clean outs haven't been capped. I've called and left multiple messages however Abe, the plumbing manager, doesn't return my calls. I just want the job completed and the refund i was promised.

Patrick and Diego worked together and were very detail oriented and thorough. Patrick explained everything he saw along with his recommendations after their fork was complete. They were great!

Our technician was great. He was knowledgeable and found a serious problem that the other guys missed on our seasonal inspection just a few months ago that had to have been there at the time. He even spent time searching warranty information on the unit and explaining all the ramifications of end of the year repairs. Still waiting on the manufacturer to respond. Hope that goes as well as the service call!

Edwin is awesome! He came out in the freezing cold to help me & my family figure out what was wrong with our furnace. He was able to get it running properly, and was very professional. I hope next time I need one of their technicians they send Edwin again!! 🙌🏾
