Constraction reviews in El Paso, Texas

I recently had my roof replaced at 8912 Gallic Ct by Rivas Construction & Roofing ("Rivas"). Workmanship and quality of material was excellent. Adolfo Rivas-Owner went out of his way in reviewing insurance policy coverage related to roof damage and interacted with insurance adjuster to make sure that all permissible coverage available was exhausted.

My overall satisfaction with Rivas prompted me to knock on my neighbors doors and I told them that they should also have their roof inspected by Adolfo Rivas to determine if their roofs also incurred hail damage from a previous hail storm. Three of my neighbor's roofs had hail damage. Neighbors heard how pleased I was with Rivas and engaged Rivas for their roof replacements. My neighbors thanked me for referring and recommending Rivas. Rivas earned the recommendation. Additionally, I recommended Rivas to my daughter and son-in-law. They also engaged Rivas to replaced their roof. Adolfo and crew keep up the Good Work!

Adolfo Rivas made working with him very easy. He answered all my questions. He worked with my insurance company and made sure that my roof was completed correctly. I would like to recommend Rivas Construction and Roofing!

They are a very professional and detail oriented businesses . I had some issues with the insurance company and they stepped in to assist. They made the process very quick and easy for me. I am very pleased with their workmanship and quality. I highly recommend them to everyone who needs a new roof.

Rivas Construction and Roofing did an excellent job at our home. Adolfo was the first person of the several we contacted to provide an estimate for the work. He was eager for the job and answered all of our questions without hesitation. Once chosen, his crew always arrived on time. They replaced the roof and installed a new metal cover over our attached porch. They also repaired and painted several places inside where the ceiling had been damaged by leaking. There was no scrimping on the quality of materials used or the workmanship. We were impressed by the teamwork of his crew which seemed to be having a good time as they worked hard together. (A happy crew is usually a good crew.) We would definitely use Rivas Construction and Roofing again and recommend them to anyone!

This company does quality work. In spite the covid-19 epidemic. They showed up on time with a small crew and did a very professional job. I highly recommend this company. When the insurance company denied my claim .they got it reversed. they went to work. they got the job done. Now I have a beautiful roof which will last year's great work guys

I liked that the owner was very quick to help get our roof redone after the intense winds ripped parts of it off. I am very disappointed that when I've requested to have certain areas resealed after the roofing job due to leaking that I am told yes we will get right on that and then never hear from owner again. Looks like there maybe a time management problem. A follow-up from the company would have made a better impression. I expected more from a christian company.

It's a family run business and we couldn't be happier with the quality of the wall and handmade custom wooden gate they installed. All were easy to communicate with and we even made some small changes as they went, and they made it no big deal to work those in. Adolfo was always very prompt to respond when called, emailed, or texted!
We will definitely be calling Rivas Construction if we need any more work done!

Mr. Rivas and his wife we hands on. They communicated well. They handled all of the insurance aspects. They worked promptly and cleaned up all of the work areas. Highly recommend 👌

Rivas Construction & Roofing did a fantastic job on our roof. Mr. Rivas gave us top of the line roofing materials and supervised his crew from start to finish, step by step. He follows through on everything he states he would do from estimate to final product. Pictures and videos of the project were provided as well. Couldn't ask for better service nor a better company. Keep up the good work Mr. Rivas! I would definitely hire you again for roofing and construction projects needed in the future.

I needed a roof replaced and Rivas did an amazing job. They were responsive and professional at every step. They invited me to look at other roofs they had done before I signed with them. They walked me through every step of the roofing process, tarped the roof well when it rained as they were working, installed a beautifully welded TPO roof, and finished the stucco on the parapet walls in an aesthetic and functional manner. I have seen several other TPO installations in my neighborhood and on friends’ homes, none of them are as nice as the TPO roof Rivas installed for me. They are the best roofers I have ever worked with.

Rivas Construction and Roofing company in El Paso, TX is a reliable and professional company. Excellent product, superior work, prompt responses to calls, eager and patient to answer all questions. They build a pergola in my back yard that is fabulous. I plan to hire them again for some small repair jobs and some big construction including siding and cement work.
This company is honest, prompt, professional, and produces quality work. One cannot go wrong with this talented group.
Do not hesitate or wait... Call them today for any home construction, remodeling and repair work. Grateful.

I am very pleased with the work done by Rivas Construction. My roof was replaced and the work was done in a timely professional manner. The owner Adolfo was very professional and courteous and always available if I had any questions. I highly recommend Rivas Construction.

Our previous roof was poorly constructed and we used to dread rain storms because we had many leaks. Hiring Rivas Construction to replace our old roof was a very good decision because they had the experience to do the job right. They used quality GAF materials and addressed all our concerns promptly. We appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail.

EXCELLENT, PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, & COURTEOUS!

My husband and I are very impressed with this company. We have already given them several referrals!
They were very punctual, and met with the insurance adjustor as well.
They kept me informed of every step, and any problems that arose due to my very old roof.

The crew was courteous, considerate, and left my yard and rest of the house in pristene condition. In fact, much better than it was before!
The painter they recommended for interior sheet rock, ceiling and painting was also courteous, professional, and punctual. We have also recommended him to several people.

Mr. Rivas even called to check on the roof and interior after a recent hard rain and hail storm.

I wish we could give Rivas Construction & Roofing even more stars than allowed, because they deserve the very highest rating possible.

6.4.23. We have increased our star rating to 3 because of the exceptional customer service provided to us by Adrian.

FINAL UPDATE 5.27.23.
So Adrian came through for us as promised! He sent his garage door window man, Oscar, very professional and friendly. He replaced the broken glass as promised. Thanks Adrian and Oscar. Because of them, we are happy with the final results!

FIRST REVIEW. The roof seems to be of acceptable quality. When we made the last payment, the owner promised to bring the warranty and the receipts by and to finish the window replacement in the garage, none of which has ever come to fruition. Now I'm trying to update insurance coverage on my home and without those documents, I'm unable to do it.
I have called and called and called and he, Adolfo Rivas, won't even return our calls.
I think people may want to find someone else to do their roof if you are looking for a reliable dependable and honest roofer. My next step is to file a formal complaint with the better business bureau. Beware of this roofing company.

UPDATE: Today Adrian, an associate with this company, hand delivered my warranty and invoice receipts. He was very professional, very polite and is definitely an asset for this company. Unfortunately I had to give this company a poor review to get these documents. I am hoping to give you one more update when the glass pane in our garage door has been replaced as part of the original work detail.

Definitely the best... Reviewed our insurance claim and noticed things that were missing that another roofing company did not notice. Also worked with the insurance company to get things fixed that the other roofing company said the insurance wouldn't cover. The workers were professional and skilled and they made sure things were done to our liking. I cannot recommend them enough.

I had a great time working with Adolfo at Rivas Construction and Roofing. He was very courteous and professional. Adolfo kindly addressed any concerns and questions I had. Scheduling and figuring out a start day was probably the most difficult because they are in demand--so book in far in advance! They did respect my wishes to hold off on putting on the roof til the weather got warmer. I appreciate it when the company does not pressure the customer and respects the customer's wishes to go above the needs of the company or bottom line. I am super glad I worked with them. They did a great job on my roof and left the roof and our property very neat. Rivas Construction and Roofing will have me as a repeat customer in the future (will update otherwise). Thank you Adolfo and Rivas Construction!

Rivas Construction and Roofing were amazing. My spouse and I recently purchased a house, informed by the inspector that the roof was sound. But it ended up leaking in 4 locations. We had multiple roofers out, and we ended up choosing Rivas. They offered a suitable new roof for our flat roof with such professionalism that we were glad we chose them. Since we had been mislead by our inspector during purchasing we were very hesitant about everything. Adolfo was very respectful and would answer all of our crazy questions and concerns. They were amazing. The roof looks great. No rain yet, but I have no doubt that the roof will hold. We strongly recommend Rivas Construction and Roofing.

After a few years of a Desert View home the roof started to easily lose shingles and come apart after even the slightest winds. After a storm I was finally able to get the whole roof replaced. Rivas Roofing was the first place I called upon others and they were there when they said they would be and were able to start when they said they would. The work was done professionally and the Clean up was beyond what I would have expected. Even after one of the workers accidentally scratched up my painted sidewalk they made sure they fixed it at no cost to me.

Will recommend and use again if I ever need to.

Mr. Rivas and his awesome team replaced my entire roof. They were so professional and cleaned up after themselves. My roof is great, with no issues. Mr. Rivas calls to ensure we are satisfied, which we are. I did a lot of research before we hired Rivas Roofing and we are very happy and satisfied customers. I highly recommend!!

Outstanding roofing team. Very responsive, communication was fast and concise. Clean-up after the job was excellent! Definitely recommend! After 3 other companies failed to fix my roof, Rivas got it right the first time, on time at a great price with no hidden charges .
