I had such a great experience with Tropicana Homes Warranty Department, Alex De La Torre and his team came out to fix a few things around our home and everything turned out perfect.
They showed up on time, were super friendly, and got the job done quickly without cutting corners. I really appreciated how they explained what needed to be done and made sure I was happy with the results before leaving.
I’ll definitely be calling them the next time something needs fixing and would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for reliable home repair help!

Elsa and Sam have been great at the warranty department. Anytime I call with a question or concern she sends someone out right away. Not all of her people were helpful. Some of them would just come and leave to include the foreman. Who told me nothing could be done about my dryer. She sent other people and they expanded behind my dryer for ventilation. Sam is the only one who listens and makes sure everything is done before he leaves. Customer service means a lot when you are making a big investment like buying a home. I also wish someone would have told me by moving the heater in the garage I would lose a lot of space and I wouldn’t be able to fit my other car in the garage. I also didn’t realize that I would not have a light switch by my back door turning on the light inside the house. All the little things I wish I would have known when the house was being built. For anyone buying a home I suggest you ask someone to go over the floor plan with you in detail and ask if you make changes what would be the down side. I’ve also been told by many people who have granite counters you are not supposed to be able to see when you spill liquid on them. I’ve called twice to make sure they are sealed correctly and everyone from Tropicana keeps telling me they are. I’m going to continue to do research. I’ve never gone to anyone’s house and noticed where water had been spilled you can see the outline where the water was after you wipe it up. I do love the look and style of my home.

I am impressed. I left this review and Tropicana came out to my home to address all of the issues I had mentioned above. They were willing to fix everything that I had issues with and followed through. They even installed the light switch so I can turn on the light and did a great work on the patch work. You can barely tell that they did them.

Think twice before buying a home with Tropicana!!
We bought our home in May 2020, and we’re experiencing leak problems from the roof with the small amount of rain we received today. We are also experiencing some mold issues.
The house is a new built and we shouldn’t be experiencing neither issues with such a short amount of time.
We have called several times to the warranty department, left voicemails every single time because they never answer, and no one has bothered to call back. Saying this is a horrible experience is an understatement.
Since we’ve bought the house our refrigeration broke down twice! Once within ONE year of purchase and the other within three years of purchase. Take your business elsewhere!

I expected a lot more from Tropicana..we were so excited to buy our first home . Closing on our home took a YEAR! Due to “covid”. Poor quality… our remarks on our walk through were turned in and not one word from Martin or anyone it has been almost 3 months.Sent emails regarding our broken garage door a week after closing and someone was sent out just to place it back and asked us to make sure we place lube.. nothing was fixed or replaced. Manuel from Leonor Estates has just shown unprofessionalism by not responding in a timely manner, ignoring texts.. hanging up calls to my realtor during the home building process and blaming everyone else but taking responsibility. Sent emails to corporate and received a call back once and nothing was resolved.. my closing date was delayed many times last minute to the point were I almost faced an eviction at my rental property. House was asked to be cleaned and found out the tapes from the walkthrough were still there and spider webs too. We did our front landscaping and found out electricians are caving in our property without even a notification being sent..spoke to their supervisor and they stated Tropicana’s foreman gave them the okay to open up and destroy our landscaping without any notification we could’ve avoided this and fix it ourselves. Nightmares and nightmares please look elsewhere this builder did nothing but to turn our buying process into a horrible experience and more months to come with home construction around us😭
