Javier and team did a great job on cleaning up, preparing, and laying sod in my back yard that was bare. Javier came and gave me an estimate and came through and installed sod and got a dormant irrigation system running brand new just in time for the summer. After living in our house for over a year finally got around to getting our goat head filled dirt lot (yard) done! Thank you Old West El Paso Construction for such an amazing job! Had no idea what I wanted to do just knew I wanted real grass for the doggos and kiddos, and they did not disappoint! They got it done in a timely manner and always kept me in the loop! They also noticed my Swiss cheese rock wall and we were able to get that patched up as well! Again thank you for the amazing work, would 100% recommend.

Had a damaged forty feet part of a full brick wall in the Upper Valley demolished and built within a week. The crew is professional, works together well and efficiently. Clean up is done every day while on the job. Javier is an easy contractor to work and communicate with. We will most certainly use this company for many future projects. We hired them repair our rock wall, repair our sprinkler system and sod the back yard, over 4,000 sq ft. Javier and his team were very efficient and clean, even with the cement needed for the rock wall. They were punctual and were very responsive to my calls/texts. They finished a day ahead of schedule. I had an issue with a leak with one of the sprinklers and they came out the same day I called to repair it at no cost. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them. Javier and his team did a wonderful job with the desert landscaping project we wanted in front of our house. They worked with us to design water catchment that will be functional when we receive our monsoon rains. His staff was clean and courteous and when two plants didn’t establish due to our high spring winds they were quick to come out and replace them. We would not hesitate to use them again!

Old West El Paso replaced my water heater. They were very responsive due to my situation. They had me on their schedule right away and had it replaced in just a couple of days after I called them. Javier was knowledgeable and knew exactly what my new water heater needed for the instillation.

They were proactive to fix a trench in the ground and trash left by my pool guys, as well as pressure wash the dirt on our patio, which wasn’t part of SETCON’s scope but so appreciated!!! SETCON stained and sealed our stamped concrete, demolished and placed new stamped concrete, placed new rock in our garden area and installed a metal fence and side gate door. They did an excellent job! The project was started even earlier than they said and finished timely. The crew was timely, professional, courteous and very helpful. The Project Manager was always at our service and also very professional and helpful. SETCON came through for us with flying colors. I recommend them for your landscaping needs. Definitely!

I hired SETCON for a concrete patio and floor around our home. From the start Guillermo delivered extreme customer service till the job was done. He made sure we were happy and constantly checked in with us. Then the team arrived with Roberto, Mario, Jose, Machete, Juan and the rest of the crew. They were very polite, hardworking and professional. They made the entire experience a breeze. I plan to work with SETCON on future projects and highly recommend them to others!

My wife and I permanently retired to Alamogordo, NM in 2019 to a home we built in 2005 specifically for our retirement. As we settled into retirement, we developed a home improvement plan of projects that would improve our quality of life in our golden years. One of those projects was the replacement of 625sf of broken backyard concrete and the addition of another 250sf of new concrete. We wanted durable decorative concrete...6" thick, 4000psi, stamped, colored, and sealed. Six months ago, after saving for 4.5 years, we finally had enough saved to start engaging with concrete contractors to do the job. We met with three different local Alamogordo concrete contractors, and after reviewing our requirements, all three of them declined the job as being too small for them. This forced us to then research concrete businesses in Las Cruces, and we contacted two of them, but neither one was willing to come to Alamogordo to give us a quote. Then we expanded our search to El Paso, TX. This immediately led us to Setcon, LLC. Their website is well-designed, easy to navigate, and most importantly, they have a very loyal client base that has taken the time to leave more than 100 Google reviews for potential future clients to consider. We reached out, and received a very responsive reply from Project Manager Guillermo Salazar, who offered to drive the 90 miles up from El Paso to look at our project requirements and give us an estimate. We agreed to cover the $100 fee, set a date less than a week later, and Guillermo arrived on-time and ready to look at things. We peppered him with questions, he took lots of pictures, gave us lots of different options, we decided on specific job parameters, and we received an E-Mailed quote from him on official Setcon, LLC letterhead less than 24 hours later. The quote was precise, specific, and included all the details any client would want outlined for reference. We accepted Guillermo's offer, and scheduled the work for 60 days down the calendar...they are pretty busy down in El Paso, and two months was the soonest they could work us into their schedule. Guillermo came back to Alamogordo a week later so we could give him a 42% good faith down payment on the work. Once this was done, it was just a matter of being patient and crossing our fingers that everything would be fine. We stayed in touch with Guillermo along the way, until project day arrived. He arrived with a crew of 5 employees...one foreman, and four workers. They all showed up on Day One ready to get it done. Demo work on 625sf of existing concrete is messy, like watching sausage being made...excruciating. This crew..."Machete", Luis, Yorkin, Martin, and Luis...hey, they got here ready to do it!!! No goofing off, no laziness, no frequent breaks...they just steady worked. Guillermo was here the whole time, providing overwatch and supervision, guiding progress and making sure everyone stayed focused. The Setcon, LLC owner showed up on Day One, introduced himself, met with the crew, made sure everybody was comfortable and safe. Day Two...Day Three...and finally, Day Four...it was CRAZY!!! We had a hundred questions and more than a few concerns, but Guillermo remained patient and addressed all of it with professionalism and maturity. We did experience a couple of hiccups...avoidable mistakes...but Guillermo was committed to making it 100% right. At the end, upon final completion of the project, we are completely happy with the outcome. We would hire Setcon, LLC again without hesitation. The key to this entire job was Guillermo. Smart guy, super knowledgeable, very accommodating and laid-back personality...we would NOT have agreed to this project without him. If he is the face of Setcon, LLC they are fortunate to have him.

Guillermo was beyond amazing I’m providing us with help. Out of all the landscapers I called to get quotes he was the ONLY one to actually send me a design and quote estimate. He always sent a text to confirm appointment and brought samples. He kept us up to date and informed on everything that was going on and we will be using him again to do our backyard. Highly recommend!!!

I had them install turf in my front and back yards. They also did some concrete to extend my driveway. Overall, they did an excellent job and my yard looks great now. They did all the work in about four days, I had figured it would take a lot longer. The only bad thing I can is say is they were a little late to start. They started the job a few weeks after they said they would. The guy that owns the company is very nice and easy to work with and he always responded to my texts or calls within minutes. The laborers are all very polite and willing to answer any questions or help with any concerns. My overall experience with this company was very positive and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to get some work done.

The turf was done very well and the fence had one or 2 adjustment to be made but overall very good. One of the main reasons I bump down to 3 starts is because of the concrete work. A few weeks after concrete was poured cracks started to form. I sent pictures to Jesus because these cracks started to spread and open. But no reply. The quick response time they had after getting paid was no longer there and for the money I paid I should not have to be basically begging them to come out and after just over a year. The cracks are worst and I guess they ran the 1yr warranty period out so they have an excuse .The concrete work was also messy and attention to detail was lacking a bit. I do have more work do be done but they wouldn't be getting my business anymore.

Guillermo and his team did an outstanding job though the entire process. When shopping around the responsiveness and products produced during planning were incredibly professional. The work was completed ahead of scheduled and we are extremely happy with the end result. Will definitely be utilizing this company for future projects!

Jesus and the team at Secton were great. Jesus got back to me with a quote quickly and the company had some better pricing in the area. When the time came to start the patio project the work team did great and finished in the time frame of a couple of days. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a project done.

We had concrete laid on both sides of the property for a walkway, two concrete slabs, concrete steps, and rocks in the backyard. I purchased turf from a local supplier and they performed the install. The crew was professional and they did little things most people would not to prevent easily avoidable complications.

Mr. J communicated very well and addressed concerns that we had.

I am grateful that this job was carried out with a level of integrity. It can be very tricky trying to find good customer service and professionalism when contracting anything related to a home in this area.
