We had our backyard done in spring 2021. It had been just dirt, but they installed a cement walkway, pet grade turf, new gates, plants with a drip system and rock. The whole project only took about two weeks and they were super kind when they saw my kids or dog. Then this summer we had them come back for a smaller job (the side yard) and they took care of it while we were out of town! Communication is wonderful.

We were looking for a contractor for a large catio project which involved a metal privacy screen atop a rock wall, a roof extension, concrete pads, a small garden shed, a pergola, patio screening, sliding doors, and a custom cat condo. Other contractors either didn't respond or literally laughed at us. But Javier and Raul and their team of professional subcontractors made everything happen exactly as we'd envisioned. A large project like this ALWAYS requires tweaks and changes, but Javier was always willing to work them in, even suggesting improvements along the way. Old West is BY FAR the best contractor we've ever worked with and we highly recommend them to everyone. Thanks again Javi & Raul!

I was in the process of selling my house and wanted to improve the curb appeal. Due to my busy schedule I neglected the yards so they had their work cut out for them. From start to finish everyone was always on time and very professional and kind. Upon completion, the work done was outstanding. I could not believe the landscaping around the house could look so great! Five stars all the way and would definitely recommend to all. This company installed sod and a sprinkler system in my yard and we are 100% satisfied with the results. A few times since the installation, they've even helped me troubleshoot the sprinkler system, which would not function due to an issue with my home, NOT THEIR installation, but each time they were prompt in their response and got me up and running AND continued to check-in in the following weeks to make sure the lawn was ok. I give my full recommendation to use this company! They are definitely friendly and customer focused!

Old West El Paso Contractors are top notch. I have used them for two moderately large jobs and rate them by far the best contractors i have used in all my 40 years of hiring outside contractors. The first job was repairing a rock retaining wall and the work is outstanding with no issues after 2 years. The second job was a large concrete job approximately 14 by 30 feet with a raised section for a 8 by 15 storage shed and a corner drain. The work again was without question the best I have experienced in my 40 years hiring outside contractors. They are very professional, do an excellent job of cleaning up each day and at the end of the job, and are very reasonably priced. You with be thankful you chose them for your next job.

My husband recently had Javier and his crew pour concrete for our workshop. Besides being reliable and respectful, Javier and his crew showed great workmanship and were efficent. The concrete turned out amazing. My husband has gone out everyday to admire it. We will be using them again!

Javier and his team went above and beyond on the job that they did for us here in Las Cruces. From the start when we asked for a quote Javier was responsive and timely. Javier stayed in constant communication and updated us along the way with any changes. It is hard to find anyone who will come out and give you a quote, let alone someone who is honest and kind. Javier and his team raised our existing rock walls and created an extra wall in between our house and our neighbors house to keep rock from sliding to our neighbor's yard. They even helped us out by filling some holes from our existing wall and replacing the metal pole for our gate. Now our doggies are safely contained! The walls look amazing and we will definitely be looking to work with Old West El Paso Construction again in the future. As well as recommending them to others. Thank you!

We could not be more delighted with our backyard project done by old El Paso construction. Xavier and his crew did a fantastic job in transforming our ugly horrible grass backyard that was not graded properly and had draining into a virtual paradise with a beautiful cement, patio, beautiful rockery and gorgeous plants that is now our paradise.. Everyone was so considerate, so nice and so professional. I highly recommend this team if you want a beautiful professional job that will bring you years of enjoyment you will not be disappointed by these fellows. If it was possible to give 10 stars, I would.

The guys that came to the house were very professional and fast. Javier delivered what he promised. My yard now looks amazing!!! Very reasonable price. Javier and his crew were always professional and thorough. They redid our back yard: transplanted two shrubs and reduced the size of our drainage pond. When they finished, the whole thing looked better than when we bought the house. All this at a price that was right. If we ever have any other landscaping projects that need doing, I will call these guys!

Javier and his team helped diagnose and fix a problem with my sprinklers. It was all done in two days from when I called him (I couldn’t get anyone else to even call me back). He was so good at communicating through the whole process and even gave some extra advice and tips for my lawn. Highly recommend!! I’d use them again in a heartbeat.

Javier and his crew just finished completely landscaping my backyard. Even with crazy weather, they stuck to it and made my dreams come true. Javier was amazing, from quoting us on artificial grass, to making our dreams into reality! His communication was always his priority, and him and his team did a phenomenal job with getting rid of our old grass and installing the turf! Great experience and customer service! This company does “good work” on LARGE projects, however, they may NOT BE INTERESTED in repair or renovation work (unless they happen to be onsite doing a big job.) I make this assumption based on my recent experience when I called for an estimate on renovation work for a flagstone fireplace.
They have nice reviews from contractors, but not many from homeowners. Apparently the service pro forgot about contacting me, while I waited a week for a reply. The gentleman had some unforeseen personal problems but forgot to let the business know I needed to hear from someone. People don't like when their time is wasted. Please be better at communicating in the future.

We had a great experience with Old West El Paso Construction. Javier is not just professional and efficient but worked with us on a vision for a backyard that is suitable for us and safe for our dogs. We can now enjoy sitting in the yard every night. He also did maintenance work on our existing artificial turf so it looks more visually appealing.

Javier and his crew removed all the old cement from the rockwall around my whole property. They replaced it with a polymer/cement mixture and made it look like new. They repaired concrete flaws on front and side of the house. They did an awesome job replacing/repairing all sprinkler heads in backyard and they all work great. They are reasonably priced and I would 100% recommend them!

Amazing service received by Javier and his team, I highly recommend them, From the very start he gave us a schedule and was on it from start to finish. The quality of the work was exceptional. I could not be happier with the end result of the remolding of my new shower, I was extremely happy with their work. I was never worried about them in the house while I was away, true professions in my book. They are very easy going and always available to answer questions. They were helpful, They go the extra mile that many contractors don't do these days. I will definitely be calling them back for another project! :)
