They never call you back. Left several messages on machine. Even the one time my husband actually spoke with a person they said they try to call back with an appointment...still waiting. I think they don't pay attention to you of its residential work.

Ive used Dave and American Leak Detectors to remedy several issues at our home. I've found him and his crew to be professional, courteous, and punctual at all times.

Great customer service. Although the leak was found in the garage, they were thorough to ensure it wasn't elsewhere or a possible second leak. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased with the services provided by this company. The leak was detected the next day. The leak was exactly where it was marked with an "x" by this company. This prevented by office and hallway floors to be destroyed. The leak was in the walkway into the front porch of the house. Great job

American Leak Detection identified the leak incorrectly. Their invoice says they will return to retest for up to 30 days if they get it wrong. We tried to call them back and they will not answer their phones or reply to emails. This company is not trustworthy and will steal your money.

I have never dealt with anyone as unprofessional as David and this company! We had a leak in our home and our plumber recommend the American Leak. David scheduled us at 1pm the next day and even called our plumber to meet him at our home. The next morning(10am) we get a call(not from David) that we are late to our 10am appointment. I explained that our appointment was not until one and we made arrangements with our work to be there at one. The guy said he would return later that day around 2. My wife called David to see what happened and to verify the new appointment and was told that he would not be able to do the job that day. We have two small kids and no water so my wife begged him to try to fit us in that day. He refused, said he is not going to do the job anymore and hung up on my wife. So if you want someone professional who actually shows up to the job dont call these guys. Call Roto Rooter or just about anyone else.

I had hired another guy, who turned out to be his brother (El Paso Emergency Leak Detection) and he scammed me out of $250 found nothing and said it was probably under the kitchen sink and wanted to charge me $1,600 to fix! (Read my review on that guy’s listing). Well turns out this guy shows up and says he is better than his brother and he is number one. Well he wanted to charge me $350 to find the leak and $1,850 to fix. I asked him if the $350 would be included if I decided to go with him and he said it would but only if I wrote a positive google review. That is very shady! Like i said, his brother charged $250, couldn’t find it and I ended up hiring a professional who charged me $250, but was able to find it on the other side of the kitchen and a professional plumber charged me $550 to fix the underground leak. These guys take advantage of people because they know time is of the essence in these situations. Run from Him and El Paso Emergency leak detector, they are brothers and only trying to milk you for as much as possible!!

If you like having your time wasted, then this is the perfect water detection company to contact. I had an appointment set up for Monday morning. The appointment time came and went. No phone call to let me know why they weren’t here or why they didn’t make it. I was called 2 hours after my appointment window, to reschedule for the following day at 8 am. I agreed to the reschedule. Next day comes, I am contacted by the company that they need to reschedule yet again for another day. I called them to express my frustration about their responsiveness and they proceeded to tell me to contact another water detection company. Truly truly the most unprofessional company I have yet to deal with. I expressed to them that I have a leak and I don’t know where it’s coming from and that I have my children living with me. At which point, the man expressed that it was none of his concern and proceeded to tell me again to contact another water detection company. So, I did. I called Roto Rooter and they had someone dispatched to my home immediately. I should really be thanking the individual that works for American Leak Detection that told me to go screw myself in the nicest manner possible. Thank you for your outstanding service to your city. Phil from American leak detection came to my house quickly as requested by a plumber who suspected I had a slab leak. He was courteous and explained what he was looking for. He showed me the spot he believed where the leak might be and how his tools lead him to conclude this. Well, he was spot on. My plumber came the next day and broke the concrete. A pinhole leak was found. Thank goodness I had a leak detector or matters could have been much worse.

I just bought a house and used this company to perform part of the property inspectios. I was so pleased with Phil's service, he performed the plumbing video inspection and was very thorough. He answered all my questions and seemed to be very knowledgeable. He was always on time, very friendly and provided written reports in a timely manner. I totally recommended this company!

I was very impressed with this company and the 2 technicians that came to our home and located the source of our water leak beneath the foundation. They were very thorough and professional. Their "X' marks the spot where the plumbers will need to do the repairs. I wish they were able to do the repairs as I would have hired them immediately. I highly recommend this company.

Good job. David came out to locate a leak underneath the foundation and meticulously worked to locate it under the garage area which was a relief. The plumber who came for the repair did find and repair it within the range of the of the maker spot.

Horribly unprofessional. I am a long-time customer of the original owner. I was told that his son Phil would call me back and he didn't.
A week and a half ago I was given an appointment for today by David. I called and he claimed that I did not make the appointment. that I was supposed to call back which is untrue.
Two of us heard him give me the appointment for today. Instead of admitting he made a mistake, he's trying to blame me. Very unprofessional.
I've been waiting for them to come for over a month. I've given
them a lot of work through the years. They didn't call me back until last week. So I did make the appointment for today. This has caused me a lot of stress and problems as I have people waiting to do work and are just waiting to check for leaks.
This is absolutely unacceptable unprofessional and absurd!!!

Great company, Phil the owner called me to sent up an appointment. He came right at the designated time. It took him 1.5 hours to find our leak and once the plumber came, he pin pointed the leak within 6 inches of the actual hole. Even though he couldn't come for a few days, would definitely use again and would recommend to everyone.

Do not use this company. They made a mark, there was no leak where they marked... I understand people and even business make mistakes, however, this company did not accept their fault and refused to own up to there incompetence by not making a correct mark... I added pictures as proof... You can clearly see the big blue circle where they said the leak was FAIL. Called another company and they found the correct spot

Unprofessional, the young kid shows up acting like he's in a hurry and has more important things to do and they take forever to return calls... So sad that that they were recommended and are gonna lose a bunch of customers with this one
