I called Hills And Valleys Heating & Air Conditioning because my mother's AC went out. He told me that they were on another call in Austin and couldn't get here until about 4pm, so he suggested that we keep calling others and let him know if we found someone else. We didn't. They came out and immediately started checking the system, was thorough, very professional, and explained everything that needed to be done. Also, went in the attic and taped holes in the insulated lines going to the vents. We were extremely satisfied with their work.

It was nothing less than an absolute pleasure working with Daniel and his team for a HVAC replacement. I came home from vacation to find my 21 year old condenser quit on me, and Daniel was able to come out same-day, provide a very reasonable quote for replacing my condenser/coil/furnace (which all were 20+ years old), and he was even able to turn it around and start the install next-day. The new AC unit works like a dream in this Texas heat, and I'll definitely be calling Daniel for any of my future HVAC needs!

I woke up at 4:30 AM in a pool of sweat, the temperature in the house was 78, and although the AC was on, the air coming out of the vent was room temp.

I called at 8 AM (when they opened) hoping to get on the schedule at some point in the afternoon or early the next morning.

Daniel picked up and said he had a full schedule but would try to work us in as he was driving by our area going to his next call.

15 minutes later, Daniel pulled into my driveway, fixed our AC and was on his way.

He said he just couldn't leave us without AC on a day like today.

Truly above and beyond, I will recommend Daniel to anyone who needs an AC repair person.

When my AC stopped working correctly today I gave Hills and Valleys a call as I had seen so many great things said about them here locally in Elgin. I was not disappointed. They let me know they were just down the road finishing up another call and would be over at my house in an hour. They even let me know via text when they were on the way and arrived almost exactly an hour later. They quickly got to work diagnosed some issues, took care of them and my AC was back up and running better than when it was new. From my first call to them leaving was less than 3 hours. Talk about great service especially on a 104 degree day. They’ve got my business for any issues and checkups I need from here on out. I love that they are local and Elgin based. Highly recommend!

Daniel came out today to do maintenance on my AC unit. After some inspection of the indoor unit, he found a gas leak on the furnace. Had it not been for him, the outcome could have been worse. He was on time, and did a great job. I highly recommend his services.

Daniel was incredibly prompt to respond when my heat unexpectedly went out and was able to come out same day to diagnose the problem, answered all of my questions, and explained how my system works/what the issues were clearly for my comprehension. He was able to schedule me the same day I called which was awesome a s having no a/c was miserable his call out fee was incredibly reasonable especially given gas prices and he didn't try to upsell. He identified the problem immediately when a named brand company simply told me I needed a new unit and tried to sell me a 11000 dollar system He fixed the problem quickly and for a couple hundred dollars. I will definitely use him again for all my hvac needs

I called Hills and Valley's after AHS could not find someone to fix my AC unit after 6 days without air in 100+ degree weather. Daniel came out the next day after the call and diagnosed/fixed the problem and had me cooling off within an hour. He even traveled a farther distance than normal to ensure I didn't have to endure another scorching night. I haven't had any other problems and would give them 5 stars for fast response, professionalism, attention to detail, courtesy, and honesty. If you're looking for a reliable company, Hills and Valley's is my best recommendation!

Really bad experience. We paid them to replace our HVAC and even told them that the builder would be paying for it, and they replaced it with a system that didn’t work nearly as well, didn’t replace parts that soon after broke, and caused our house to be warmer than it ever was before. We also started to get a lot of condensation around our vents ever since they did the install which makes us really nervous about mold. Not only that, but they refused to do the work necessary to fix it and just made excuses as to why they wouldn’t do it after they had been paid thousands of dollars. Would not recommend.

Make sure you never use a cuss word around them or else they will ghost you and not finish the job. Super unprofessional business who gets too flustered by a lack of know-how that they blame everything else except their own wrong doings

Our new HVAC go to! Daniel returned my call promptly and arrived as per his quote. Daniel took the time to listen to the history of the system and I liked his approach to troubleshooting. He solved a major issue that neither the original installer or an Austin BIG BOX service could. Our heat pump is finally heating as it should and using a lot less energy. I would absolutely recommend Hills and Valleys to anyone in the area needing HVAC help.

I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone I know. The gentleman was very professional, and quickly showed up to resolve our issue. We had gone 2 days with out air, (stood up by another company) and Hills And Valleys showed up immediately, assessed our issue, and had a new unit ordered within the hour. We got our unit installed first thing the next morning, and he even took the time to educate us on our normal maintenance that we should be doing. I really appreciated that we weren't just another $$$ to him and that he actually wanted to help. Will definitely be using this company again for future maintenance.

My AC went out in June. Got a quote from a larger HVAC company and was sticker shocked. Called up Daniel and he came over, assessed the situation and gave me a quote at half the price of the other company. The install was shortly thereafter. While installing the AC unit, they noticed an issue with my water heater. Although not in the original scope of work, they nevertheless fixed it for me. I sensed a genuine concern because of the gas related nature of the issue. They fixed it without charging me for labor, just the material costs.

Daniel and the team were great. They were one of three companies we reached out to for a quote to replace our upstairs handler, plenum, and duct work. Daniel was very responsive, professional, friendly, and explained everything in detail through the process; including, showing and sharing pictures of the unit and why we needed the repairs/replacement he recommended.

The owner, Daniel, has a rare, hard-to-find quality - Honesty! He troubleshot my lower-end HVAC system finding several problem areas that made it more cost effective to replace the system. He gave me a good deal on a Rheem and diligently worked with me to resolve some unexpected issues with the Distributor/Manufacturer's warranty. He was honest and forthright and I ultimately came out ahead with a better unit than I purchased. Daniel could have easily walked away but his moral sense compelled him to make things right. I couldn't ask for a better person to work with and I'll always highly recommend him and call him back for future maintenance needs.

I found Daniel with Hills and Valleys on my local nextdoor app after reading a thread to which his name kept coming up with very satisfied clients in my community. Our Ac stopped cooling on a Friday evening. I called him at 9:30am Saturday morning and he was here by 12:00pm that same day. He's a one man operation, very prompt,reasonable in price and even educated me on how to drain my ac line to to keep my Ac running efficiently. The entire install took maybe 15 minutes at that but he chose to stick around and ensure my home was cooling the way it should. He'll be my go to for annual maintenance. Love that I'm supporting a small business too. You're not going to go wrong with Daniel.

I called Hills and Valleys to check on my AC units in the summer. Daniel came on time, was very professional, and did a thorough check on the units. He then gave detailed instructions, even using pictures to show how to clean the AC unit drain tubes monthly in order to keep the system running efficiently. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to ensure I understood everything and I felt he went above and beyond his job description.
