They DO NOT recycle all electronics listed on the website, you wait in a 30+ minute line just to pay at least $9 to get out of your vehicle and toss your box of old electronics in the trash. People at the "Convenience Center" (it's just a booth) won't even speak to you; they only make vague motions to you until you leave. Better off donating your old electronics to someone that can deconstruct and reuse the parts.

They want me to pay $100 to disposal of branches and trees 🌳 just because it was not a truck. I don't have a truck, instead I load my trailer on my free day (Saturday with water bill) any way they wanted me to pay. The blonde lady at the window was very racist and refused to talk to me slowly. I don't see what is the difference between a trailer and a truck. In the truck l may have to do a couple of trips ( free) or the trailer I trip . It is free anyway 🙄🤬

It would be nice if the people that work there could kindly answer the frikin phone instead of just disconnecting it. That’s the problem in this world today, there is no more integrity, morality, consideration, respect or appreciation Whatsoever! Even 911 puts you on hold. What a mess!

How this company has continued to stay in business with its repeated poor performance and terrible customer service will never make sense to me.
Called to have a dumpster delivered on Monday, was told I would be added to the route for Tuesday. I said ok, great, thank you. Dumpster showed up around 2pm on Wednesday. I ordered a 40yd. They brought me a 30yd. Knowing the driver only picks up what is on his paperwork, I thanked him for his time and went about my business. I, of course, filled the dumpster faster than I was expecting, and called to have it picked up. On Monday. Was told it would be picked up before noon. On Monday. Dumpster is still sitting in my driveway as of 9:35pm on Tuesday. Guess I shouldn't really be surprised.

Went earlier today November 4 2022 and was told I had to use a hard hat and if I didn’t have one I’ll be extra 36 dollars was also being charge that per ton. In the past I had also bad experience here. I will be breaking down this debris and allow the curbside pick up truck to get it saves me a trip and money. In the past I used to pay like 12 dollars

Have been coming to this place for a very long time as a resident of Tarrant County/Arlington but this place obviously come up with prices as the see the loads you have. They don't have anything showing what prices goes to what at this location. This front desk lady said they get the prices from the city...to take it up with them. This is sad they the employees don't have anything to provide to the customers to show what is what. I guess when you have no other choice but to use their services...you have to! Hope these things can get fixed for all residents so that we can be informed on what we are paying for VERSES what the clerk says!

Speaking to the landfill itself, not Republic Services as a company. Waited in line, got on the scales, handed the employee my free ticket via the city of Arlington and my drivers license with matching address (required as it states very clearly on their website) and was good to go. Had a big trailer full of stuff and was directed where to unload. When we were finished another employee handed us a broom to sweep out my trailer and two bottles of cold water. Very good experience!

Often there is a pretty big line. The people are nice. Arlington residents can get in for $9 a pickup load. Trailer over 8 feet cost $35 per ton. If you are dropping off for business or non Arlington resident is like $150.

I live in Bedford and saw this was the closest landfill...

$152 minimum for non-Arlington resident. Make sure you know if your city gives vouchers because that is the only reasonable way to visit this place.

    Edit:
The staff in the dropoff point was helpful, however the staff at the front desk lacked any sort of professionalism and was rude and dismissive to our questions.

After dropping off a section of broken fence and a tractor tire, they stopped us on the way out to inform us they do not accept tires that size and i would have to go back and pick it up.

That isn't the bad part, what happened next is where I take issue. After telling me I would need to go back and get the tire, they still tried to charge me for dropping it off. I told them I would not pay for the tire since I was being directed to take it away with me. This was apparently an issue.

    Edit 2:
After a manager from the dropoff point stepped in, the final price was $88.82. the only thing I dropped off was a 16ft by 6ft-tall fence, broken into smaller pieces. Insane.

When I picked up the tractor tire which they would not accept, the staff in the dropoff point told me they have previously seen tractor tires dropped off before. I appreciate what the guys in the field were doing to try and help because they were the only professional part of the whole experience.

The insanely high prices to drop off trash is incentive to not use their services, but the lack of front desk professionalism is what I will remember the most.

The woman at the front window was not very friendly or helpful. Was rather rude. However, Curtis was helping us unload our cardboard, and was informative, help and very friendly. Being new to Texas we weren't sure of how your place worked, so the information he provided was VERY HELPFUL! Being charged 85 dollars for a handful of plastic and yet my load was all cardboard ticked me off. Honestly, I think I was ripped off. Curtis made the sting more bearable.

They charge me $200.00 to dump the tile from my kitchen and laundry remodel and the guy refused to tell me his name when I told him I was going to put a complaint.

First time I went here they didn't weigh me and charged a flat $89. The next time they told me a $150 minimum. Both times pulling in a 5x10 dump trailer. Do yourself a favor and don't get ripped off here. Plus both times the wait was ridiculous, 45 min +

Rates have gone WAY up and seem to be very inconsistent. Employees have a BAD attitude pretty much every time we go, the females in the office mostly. This place is gouging people. For the prices they charge now, they should unload your trash off your trailer for you! If you want to be treated like **** and taken advantage of, this is your place!

The Hispanic lady with white hair charged us $203 to drop of a 10 foot trailer with branches n wood she is always very rude ,she charges what she wants, one time she chargeus$103 same weight n then another time charged us $85 same weight,u should talk to her she thinks she's the owner ,she's only an employee n I pay her as a tax payer..

Employees are horrible to deal with. Haggle you everytime you come. I dump for my personal and for my business and they constantly try to over charge me even when I’m dumping for my personal. And I alway make sure to tell them if it’s business or personal. They went so far as to lookup 5 year old pictures of my house, prior to me buying it and telling me “it says this house is for sale”

The workers need to stay in their lane and not invade my privacy

People at Republic Service is not competent about trash and recycle pickup. There was one time I left my garbage and recycle bin on curb side for a recycle & trash day pickup. A rude driver took my trash & recycle bin on my driveway while blocking it, which republic did not even both go and take them to dump into their truck. This is a double frustration because: 1. Someone blocked my driveway and placed them on my driveway blocking them and 2. Republic service cannot provide above and beyond service to go get them picked up! My recycle bin was full and they don’t come back until another week later. I gave an extra star in this review because I called and they actually came back to pick them up tomorrow, after the rude driver left.

Quick and easy experience. I went to my city hall beforehand and picked up my yearly 2 free landfill vouchers. My pickup truck has a lockable bed cover on it so I didn't need to worry about tarps or securing my load for the trip there. When I got there I showed the nice lady my DL and voucher and after she did the short paperwork for it I was pointed in the direction to go. There aren't really any signs to tell you where to stop etc. I was flagged down by a worker and he helped me get to exactly where I needed to be. I backed my truck up to a little concrete spot that overlooked a dumpster below. Shortly after climbing up onto my truck bed and throwing my bags of junk down into the dumpster I was approached by a nice worker who began to help me. With his help we were done within mins! As I swept out my truck bed of any dirt and small trash we had some small talk. The worker was so kind to me and even offered me a bottle of water! As a female I really didn't expect to get any sort of help because... well...it's literally a dump. I was prepared to do it all myself but it was such a nice surprise to get a helping hand! Those guys work all day out in the sun/dirt and other unpleasant elements yet still were friendly and helpful when I visited about an hour before they close. I hope they get paid good because they definitely deserve it! I have a renewed respect for those hard-working guys!

I was welcomed by Christopher! This is my first time here as a new resident of Arlington he was very kind and i had questions that he gave me an answer. Very very helpful Christopher

I had to pay $79.20 dollars because their system that prints the vouchers didn't work on 01/31/24. I live in Arlington and my name is on the utility bill, how is it that I still have to pay? Ridiculous! Call minutes before going there and write names to make a report. Tax payers shouldn't have to pay extra, especially if you never use the landfill except for usual trash pick up.

    ***ARLINGTON RESIDENTS BEWARE***

As an Arlington resident, you get 3 FREE visits per year. They won't tell you that when you arrive because that is the resident's responsibility to know that. That is what i was told by them. So, if you dont ask for your free visit (3 per year), you will be charged the Arlington rate of $20.

Always a long line, about 3-4 minute wait per vehicle to enter. Need to be able to process more than one vehicle at a time.
