Plant selection and organization of this garden center is always top notch. The prices were competitive and the service from carrying our purchases to the register or truck was polite and appreciated! Best of all, plant health and success once they went into the ground was good.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Guardado Garden Center, and I was thoroughly impressed by their incredible selection of cactus succulents, agave plants, and beautiful pottery. If you're a fan of unique and hardy plants, this is definitely the place to be!

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a stunning display of vibrant succulents and striking agave varieties. The diversity they offer is remarkable, with plants of all shapes and sizes that are perfect for any garden or indoor space. Each plant looked healthy and well-cared for, which speaks volumes about their commitment to quality.

The staff at Guardado are not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable. They took the time to share tips on care and maintenance specific to succulents and agave, helping me choose the perfect additions for my collection. It’s clear that they are passionate about what they do, and their expertise made my shopping experience enjoyable and informative.

In addition to the plants, I was blown away by their selection of pottery. The unique designs and colors complement the beautiful succulents perfectly, allowing for endless creative possibilities in arranging and displaying my new plants.

Overall, Guardado Garden Center is a must-visit for anyone interested in cactus succulents, agave, and pottery. The combination of quality plants, expert advice, and beautiful accessories makes it a standout destination. I left with a few new treasures for my home and a desire to return soon!

Wonderful nursery! It has an excellent selection of rare and tropical plants as well! I definitely recommend them!

This is the absolute best garden nursery I have ever been to. Such a large variety of potting containers and plants! I managed to get four beautiful pots and five health, vibrant plants. So many items were on sale and discounted, I managed to walk out spending less than $200. Rae was very helpful and accommodating to all of my questions and concerns. This will definitely be my go to place.

I had never heard of this place before meeting a family member up there to pick up a few things from them while on their break. Don’t be fooled by the humble but adorable store front, this place is huge! Like overwhelmingly huge! Anything you could ever think of needing (and even things you didn’t know you needed) you can find here. Amazing selection of plants as well as pottery and the staff are so attentive and helpful and if they don’t know the answer they are very quick to find someone who does. I never feel pressured to buy while shopping here unlike other places I’ve been. The thing I honestly love the most about this place is the unique layout. It’s like walking through the botanical gardens (no exaggeration) there is organization and structure while maintaining the feel that you are walking through a beautiful garden. If you love succulents and cacti then be pleasantly overwhelmed when you walk inside. RUN to this beautiful hidden gem! I promise you it will be the only place you ever go again for plant and pottery needs!!

My life has been transformed through grief from the loss of my Army Warrant Officer from Vietnam. Into happiness and joy filling my life with their plants 🪴 Just alone their friendliness and concerned when I asked questions they gave me very good suggestions on how to take care of plants when I wasn’t very good at it I now have a garage of a garden in my own home of joy filling that void after losing my husband I recommend this place highly over all garden centers. They support our veterans and give military discount if you have your ID✌️🇺🇸You can’t get better service than here♥️🙏 This has been a godsend and a blessing of healing coming here💁‍♀️🌵🪴

Feels like I’m shopping at a SoCal plant shop again! Haven’t found another plant shop like this in the DFW. They have a great selection of euphorbias/succulents, trailing plants, century plants, desert roses and so much more! They have a corner of their nursery that has sago palms and other taller palms it feels nice and fresh in there after exploring in their greenhouse.

This is one of the coolest nursies in DFW. They have an amazing selection of cactus, succulents, and talavera. I bought this really neat prickly pear with dark spots I was later able to identify as opuntia decumbens.

I tried to hire the Plant People 2 years ago and they didn't show up at all. A freliend suggested I try them again... they didn't show up again. Very unprofessional

I have been wanting to write this review for awhile, but am just now getting around to it.

Called and scheduled for landscape design services last year. It is $500 for the initial landscape design services. We agreed to this charge, but ultimately the comprehension and value of the design services are absolutely horrible. I would not recommend.

Upon consultation, we discussed our price point and what we what size project we were looking for. We were told that 3k is the minimum project that they take on, and I let them know we would be looking for about a 3k-5k project for our front garden landscaping.

The design we were given, was for a 10k project!! The design was very poorly thought out and took little consideration for what was discussed during consult. There was no access in the design to the water hose. It included a tree that we did not ask for, and should not have even been included anyhow due to safely because it was to be placed directly under high voltage power lines. It included plants that would block our backyard gate as well. A totally useless design and waste of money. I’m extremely disappointed and feel completely scammed out of the $500.

We had a project involving a customers outdoor stone. Some adjacent vegetation was showing signs of dying shortly after completion. The customer understandably reached out to us thinking the project and vegetation issues were related.

We were fairly certain that they were not related, but we are not experts when it comes to horticulture. Hardly knowledgeable at best.

The responsible thing to do was to reach out to someone who was. The customer had informed us that "The Plant People" was who did the initial install.

It was a delicate situation that could potentially be costly. We were very well aware that someone unethical or without knowledge might report that excavation and all new trees might be needed. Justin put us at ease after speaking with him beforehand.

He made an in-person assessment the next day. His findings were related to some drainage/overwatering issues.

Very professional, excellent communication, and an honest conclusion. He made some slight adjustments to the watering while he was there, less than two weeks later there was tremendous improvement in the area.

    Fantastic people to work with.

One of their employees has the worst road rage I’ve seen in a long time. He gunned it and passed me on a narrow residential street nearly hitting a parked car and forcing me to almost hit one. He then went flying down the street and nearly lost control of his truck after hitting a speed bump. I reported him to the police.

    Quality as well as Quantity.

This guys road rage is terrible. Terrible driver.

The woman I spoke to was extremely rude and unprofessional. I would never allow someone like this to come to my house and plant in something I see everyday. I would be constantly reminded of her attitude. No one wants that.

Merlin with True Vine is top notch, he has been maintaining our landscaping 6+ years. He has completed numerous landscaping projects including retaining walls, concrete sidewalks, installing iron fencing and many more. Easy to work with!

My experience with this company couldn't be better. They trimmed my 80'+ trees (7) and did a beautiful job. The crew was curious and through in their trimming and clean up. Merlin gave me a quote that I felt was more than reasonable and told me when his crew could start work. He also came out to explain what he wanted the crew to do as well as check back periodically. All was finished in 2 days.
