Juan was great! Love this business' customer service. He is a very kind professional.

Had an erroneous charge of $360 taken out of my account with no explanation or reason behind it. Company plays it off as no big deal nor will a manager call you back. Been 3 days now, Ann Marie, the phone rep was rude and didn’t help much other than to say it’s been expedited in their case services and to expect a refund in 5-7 business days. Their $360 oopsie makes it hard to do business with them, so I find it worthy to share with others thinking or reviewing reviews for services.

I canceled my service with these guys in November after being disappointed in the work. They made it very difficult to cancel, and then tried to charge me again this month for services I have A) already canceled and B) they haven't done anything. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and now I want other people to know how sketchy this company is. Don't trust them, don't work with them, and definitely don't give them any payment information because they will misuse it!

The associate who treated my lawn this morning was very efficient and kind. He answered all my questions . He made me feel like I was with the right company to care for my lawn. I think his name was Justin Taylor. Thank him for his kindness.

Terrible customer service. I booked an appointment with Monte Wood earlier in the week and I also called the day of the appt to confirm and he stated someone will be out to talk to me about services. No one showed up. I called an hour later just in case they were running late and wait is super long and then goes to voicemail. I’m super disappointed with this and 1st impression is everything when running a business . They have definitely lost mine..

    STAY AWAY!
So much has gone wrong with this company. At first, I thought they were great. They were the only ones that came out to my house to evaluate my needs. All other companies just gave quotes over the phone. They gentlemen came out, looked at my yard and gave a quote. A few hours later they then offered my first service for free. Thought it was a good offer - so I agreed. He said they would be out the very next week for service. Well, that was the first thing that went wrong. They never came out. So, I messaged them and they said they finally submitted a work order to get my lawn done a week later than it was supposed to be. Not only that, but the next day, my credit card was charged the full amount!!
They also claimed multiple times they "only have 5-star reviews" which is clearly not the case.

After Emerald Green took over NutriGreen the service completely went downhill. I’ve paid for weed treatments but my yard and beds are still full of weeds killing my plants. They even forgot to do multiple applications for six months which left me having to replant and deal with a huge mess. I’ve sent multiple emails and when they finally sent someone out the spray and treat my beds their solution is didn’t work and/or their technician is doing a poor application. The service is terrible and I’m very unhappy. I would strongly recommend finding another provider. This is nowhere near the standard of excellence NutriGreen had.

I have been a loyal customer of Nutri Green for years, even before their merger with Emerald Lawns. While my grass still looks good, the quality of service and communication has significantly declined. I've repeatedly requested a courtesy call before each service to ensure my gates are unlocked for full access to my yard. Despite mentioning this over the phone and in the feedback surveys they send after each application, nothing has changed.

Recently, I requested a quote for Christmas lights as part of a promotion they were running but received no response. When I called to follow up, I was told they were fully booked but that someone would contact me the following Tuesday. I informed them to cancel as I would not be available, yet they still showed up without calling first.

Given these ongoing issues, I will most likely be ending my service with them and looking for a company that can communicate effectively.

We’ve had a very disappointing experience with the quality of chemicals Emerald Lawns uses. Their flower bed treatments have been ineffective, and despite repeated complaints and follow up sprays, the weeds in our beds are still out of control and large enough to kill our plants.

My wife emailed on Monday to cancel further flower bed service, but we have yet to receive any response. The lack of communication has been just as frustrating as the poor results.

When our lawn was serviced by NutriGreen before it was acquired by Emerald Lawns, we had a much better experience. Unfortunately, the quality has not carried over under new ownership. At this point, we cannot recommend their services.

I always love coming here. So much variety from the herbs and trees and plants and even seed packs that they have are wonderful. This place is the bomb diggity all year round with all the seasons. They have all you need to maintain and keep your garden beautiful and healthy. Love this place.

I stopped in today to buy some nandinas for 30 percent off. They have great sales, a good selection of plants, and knowledgeable staff. I've attended one of their free gardening seminars and the information was very helpful.

They were so nice, supportive, friendly and kind. Excellent costumer service and quality of plants! They know their information and are very helpful. Amazing business!

Love Calloway's. Their plants are healthy, hardy and zone approximate. Have answered questions on yard care courteously every visit. Plant recommendations have survived harsh Texas summers and hard freezes in spite of my brown thumb. They occasionally hold workshops on environmentally sound yard and plant care. Their blog and Website have also been helpful.

Beautiful plants, busy place, lovely selection. BUT,
Went there specifically for flowering Quince only to be told he sold last few about 30 minutes prior. Ok so I chose a couple plants and got on line to check out. I was 8th on line and 5 people behind me. It was then I realized there was only ONE cashier. Waited five minutes in the heat, put my plants down and left. Sorry I made the 35 minute trip to go there.

This is a place that you shouldn't shop and you shouldn't get a job at. They have very poor management. There is abusive behavior displayed and management does not lead or mentor employees. A good leader mentors people and teaches them along the way. That is part of leadership. They fire people if they don't like something instead of telling the employee that they should do something differently and then after the employee is gone, they tell the other employees all about the reasons that they should have shared with the employee. All said and done, someday that will come back around. Horrible management. Corporate is no better. As far as shopping, I have been there 4 times and have walked around the grounds for over an hour and never had anyone ask me if I needed help. And finally, let's talk about the design services. DON'T DO IT! It was the poorest 5 month experience that I have had with landscaping in all my life. Received the scrappiest of plants and I am dismayed that I don't have the yard that was displayed to me in the pictures that I was presented.

This place has some work to do. After I ended up going to Lowes instead I realized that Lowes had plants in better condition and was talking to someone that said they Calloways plants are not good.

As for my own experience: I couldn't get help when I was in there. Employees just stood around staring and when I asked a question they literally just pointed out into the abyss of plants not giving me any real direction (lazy). They tried to overcharge me by not even giving me the plants I ordered and then on top of that charged me more for some 4in plants than the original gallons I ordered. How does that even happen? I ordered gallons and was given these tiny lots. I don't think so. On top of that it was like they were just giving me the ones in the worst condition rather than filling an order with the customers needs in mind. I ended up getting 5x the amount of plants at Lowes for around the same price and they have a one year guarantee on their plants. The employees are actually helpful as well which was more than I could say for Calloways.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly, i was greeted as soon as i walked in and asked if i needed help. While i was shopping several employees asked if i was ok and needed anything. When i did need help they were very knowledgeable and helped me to pick the right plants for my project. Tons of plants to pick from, helpful staff, great prices, will definitely go back for all my planting needs!

Great variety of plants. You can tell the staff takes care of the plants. The staff was super attentive and friendly. Prices are comparable to large brand stores, but better taken care of.

I love it here. Basic black pots used for my vegetables are the lowest price I've seen around. The strawberry plants I bought about a month back have produced great tasting fruit and are producing runners (baby plants). So extremely happy with price and quality of products!

They have a great selection of plants, fertilizer and soil with a good staff to help out with questions. We were looking for plants to replace knockout roses (don't buy them, they grow too fast!) and they pointed us to a lot of good plants.

Tremendous experience start to finish. At the local store on Tarrant Pkwy, we were helped by Jim who assisted in coordinating our entire garden, with different plants, trees and flowers based on the ideas we shared with him. He was very knowledgeable and helped educate us with what is right for us. Scheduling the install was super easy too and Josh (the installer) did an amazing job! He went way above and beyond to make sure it all went where it was supposed to go, took real good care of the garden by removing old roots and rocks, planted each one with extreme care and spread the mulch out perfectly. He watered and even cleaned up the job site spotless. Could not have asked for a better guy to plant everything. All in all, we were very happy choosing Callaway's.
