I live in a senior community in Kennedale, TX. A few months ago, some of the lawn maintenance workers cut up a lot of the decorative borders I have around my rosebed 🌹. I notified the office personnel here about the issue.
Albeit this is the property that they manage, and not my personal yard, she gave me a phone number for me to call myself rather than them take care of it.

Nevertheless, I called the number I was given and spoke with Abbey. She apologized for what happened and promised to have someone come out and take a look. Well, 4 months went by without anyone coming to specifically take care of the problem.

I wanted to spruce up my rosebed and make it beautiful, but looking at the broken and cut-up borders was very discouraging. I questioned: "Do I spend more money out of pocket and replace them myself? Do I take it to small claims court?" I decided to call the company again instead.

I called and left a message for someone to call me back..
Abbey called back same day and left a voice message apologizing for the time it has taken to get back to me, and assured me that the operations manager would come out and assess the problem.
Mr. Juan Castro came as promised to make his assessment on Friday, June 20, 2025.

We discussed more durable options and agreed on one I would be pleased with.
Operations manager Juan Castro, instead of sending a guy under his management, came himself and installed the border around the rosebed.
He rang my doorbell and wanted to show me the finished job.

I appreciate the company taking ownership of the damage their employees caused and making it right.
This is what honesty and integrity look like.
