Witnessed a driver for this company on I-820 south on 11/30 at approx 3:15 driving almost 90 miles an hour, changing lanes without so much as a signal, and cutting people off in traffic. If "Golden Rule" General Contracting treat their customers with anywhere near the same disregard as they treat other drivers, I would highly suggest to go with someone else.

We had Golden Rule General Contracting do a number of jobs around our house. They were very willing to do what might be considered as a number of small jobs for a contractor. They did an excellent job, was able to do it all in one day and cleaned up after themselves completely. We are very pleased by the quality of work and the price.

Lord Jesus, Mr Randy and his team went above and beyond to make my family and I happy. He's an Angel that God sent whenever I was in need. Mr Randy did something I couldn't even believed after losing an amount of $10'000 from another contractor (Payne-Johnson Contruction)(Don't ever used them). We were so glad that we picked Golden Rule GC to work on our duplex, Randy and Bryce are so professional, patient and nice. Randy explained everything that we need to know and he assured us that we do not need to worry about anything, Bryce will take care of us (we were nervous and not sure if they are really reliable). So glad we picked Golden Rule GC.

The neighbor's tree branch fell on top of the roof and our insurance only willing to replace half side and not the whole roof.
There was an area that the bricks was loose and door entrance was not in the right shape, and of course, insurance not willing to pay for those either. We were going to accept the insurance settlement because we didn't think we can win if we try to fight them. Bryce at Golden Rule and Ryan at First Call Public Adjusters both worked hard for my case, they were able to get the insurance paid for the whole roof (I am still shocked that they were able to get the insurance paid for it 😊), the exterior bricks, new frame/door, interior walls and ceiling painted. Bryce was very nice and respectful, he follow up with us when needed, always answer our calls and texts. He makes sure that we are happy with the work they did.

Golden Rule Contracting Company, remodel my master bathroom. They replace the bathroom floor tile, remove my 1994, jacuzzi bath tub, and they did an excellent job placing tile on the wall. The detail work of the tile on the wall and floor is excellent. When you first meet Randy you get that feeling of secure. He looks at your project, listen to you and he make sure the communication between the two of you is clear and concise. I will keep my Golden Rule Card and call again and again!

I want to personally thank you and your team for the recent works completed on my home. What started out to be a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE soon became the most seamless process despite challenges! I woke up to my home completely flooded due to a valve failing on my water heater. Randy and team were at my home within the hour along with a full water mitigation team. He assessed the damages and assured me he would take care of everything. The initial response from the insurance company was not expected and shocking however Randy said a word of prayer with me and assured me that everything would be ok. After months and months of back and forth with the insurance company 90% of my home that was impacted by the water was fully replaced. I went periodically back to my home and was surprised that a $50 bill my teenage son lost years ago in his room was left on the kitchen table. I appreciate the professionalism and the honesty that each person employed by Golden rule exemplifies. I would 10000000% recommend Randy and team for all of your needs.

We are so pleased with the quality of work. We had severe damage after this summer's hail storm. We had our roof replaced and our house painted. Filing a claim was extremely easy with all of Randy's help. They were very patient with me also when I had trouble deciding on "just the right" color. Even after all this rain...Not A Drop , not a single leak.Summer 2018

This year 2/2021 we suffered damage from a pipe burst from the freeze. Randy along with Rene and the whole team, gave me back my house more beautiful then before. We are extremely blessed!!

When requesting bids to re-roof my house and replace some siding and do some painting, the principal of Golden Rule, Randy, spoke to me on the phone. He was very personable and easy to talk to. I happened to mention that I had a small section where shingles had blown loose. When his people came by to do the estimate, I was quite surprised that they also sent one of their construction foremen, Arturo, along with some shingles that matched my roof. While I was talking with the estimator, Arturo, removed the loose shingles and replaced with the new matching shingles. The estimator told me that they had viewed photos of my home and knew the color of my shingles, and there was no charge to patch that area. When I had received bids from a number of companies, Golden Rule's was one of the lowest (if not the very lowest ... can't recall). I was already impressed by the kindness of patching my roof without charging me, and I liked the people I dealt with, and had read a lot of great reviews, so I hired Golden Rule to do the work. The work is all complete now and was done very professionally and within a relatively short time span, and I am very pleased with the results. The construction foreman, Arturo, was very good about contacting me and telling me when work would be done, and answered all my questions, and gave good suggestions when I asked. Besides the good-looking roof, the new siding was cut correctly to fit into triangular corners, was well-caulked at the seams, and professionally painted. Expert work done at a very competitive price! I definitely recommend Golden Rule!

I can not say enough about how impressed I was with the work provided by Randy and his crew. Randy was very fixable and understanding of our time constraints as we were in need of repairs to fulfill our obligations for selling our home. There were also services we needed that he did not directly provide but he was able to recommend and arrange with the other service provider timely repairs. I found his services to be honest and straightforward, no sales pitch to do more than what we needed but offered helpful suggestions a long the way. I would highly recommend Golden Rule and if you value supporting a hometown business it's a double bonus.

I've used Randy and his team at Golden Rule multiple times on two different homes. Randy is the most honest and trustworthy contractor I've worked with. He always goes out of his way to do what it best for the customer. The first time I used Golden Rule was on a roof replacement that was necessary in order to sell our house. The insurance company denied the claim and Randy led us through the process of appealing the decision. After over 6 months of fighting with the insurance company they finally paid. Randy worked with us to make sure the new roof was on before closing on the house, even though the insurance company was not timely in paying. On our next home, I noticed the wind had blown off some shingles on our roof and our shed. I contacted Randy mid Friday afternoon and he had the roof repaired within 3 hours. He knew it was going to rain over the weekend and adjusted his plans to get the repair done before the rain. I would highly recommend Randy and his team to anyone needing a new roof or remodeling services.

I highly recommend them. Very detail oriented and professional work. They tore down the old fence quickly and kept things clean. They were meticulous in meeting all the building codes and the work is beautiful. Can’t say enough good things about them. They were courteous and respectful the whole time they were on property. We now have a beautiful fence that keeps us, and our dogs safe.
