If you ever need an excellent, reasonably priced roofer or general contractor I can highly recommend Golden Rule. We had some storms recently and needed a repair on our roof flashing. Randy at Golden Roof scheduled Jose to visit the next business day. Jose provided us a quote and the Golden Rule team completed the job that morning. The work was exceptional and 1/2 the price of another quote we received from another contractor.

Needed someone to put finishing touches on the new house and Golden Rule did a great job. The estimate was done quickly and on schedule. The workers showed up on time each day and their work is professional. The drywall repairs are undetectable and they cleaned up at the end of each day. Will definitely work with Golden Rule again.

Randy at Golden Rule General Contracting , inspected our roof due to a change in insurance policies, upon inspection he determined there was no damage or faults to a newly installed roof , back on October 2023.

I must spread the good news every where!!! I didn't know the name of this company was called Golden Rule... and after my 1st conversation with Bryce, I see why. A leaky roof caused damage to the the inside of my mom's bedroom. This caused repair to be needed to the drywall, and carpet. After assessing the damage, Bryce let us know that the work would be completed within a matter of days. My mother is in her 70s, a paraplegic, and is also deaf--and she lives alone (for the most part). Since she spends all her time in either the bed or wheelchair this type of work required some major adjustments, and accommodations! The biggest challenge was the disassembly & re-assembly of her pressurized air mattress bed -- into another location while her room was being repaired -- then back into the room when work was complete. Bryce offered to take a look, and see if it was something he could do. Low and behold, IT WAS--so, HE DID IT! This was an immense deal because tending to my mom, from afar, my biggest concern was how this task would get handled. Bryce swooped in like an angel from heaven, and took care of this matter--which wasn't part of his job!! It is NOT in the description of a contractor and roofer to get involved to this magnitude with a client's affairs. These issues are the responsibility of the client to resolve before work begins. However, Bryce truly walked out the Golden Rule, {do unto others, as you would want done to you}. He treated my mom, as if it was his own mother, in that he saw to ensure that work was done swiftly, efficiently, accurately, and he did it with grace, a smile, and you could definitely feel the love he had to get the job done for my mom! And the clean up afterwards, was spot on!!! My mom did not have 1 single whisper of a complaint during this entire process, and the work at the end was fantastic. In addition to all this -- because my mother uses a lift to be supported in & out of the bed, etc -- it was important to have ease of movement using the lift in her room. After approval from the homeowner was received, we were able to get laminate flooring just like in other areas of the house!!! Bryce scoured the city for the perfect laminate to match the other areas of the house, which took another 2 days, but we definitely did not mind. All in all for all the work done, this project was completed within 5 days!!!
I am ETERNALLY grateful! And I will recommend Golden Rule General Contracting & Roofing to any and every person who needs any type of work of this nature done!!!!

Contractor Steve Magyar stepped up to walk us through the process with the insurance company when our house flooded. Got our house back together better than it was and communicated with us every step of the way. Very professional, top notch work and coordination of every trade. Always treated us like people and never asked for any money until the job was complete. This company really does care about their customers and it shows.

Randy fixed my roof, fences, gutters and took care all the paperwork with the insurance. The roof was replaced in 2017 and they are still good and every year when we call him to check it after a storm or hail he came right away and even fixed some minor issues for free. Highly recommended

Working with Randy was great. I had a VERY specific vision of what I wanted the space to look like and Randy and his team were amazingly accommodating. In the planning stages we were in constant communication. They worked in all the details we discussed and the final product is exactly what I wanted.

Note that this is not some big contracting company. It is just Randy and his subcontractors, so some things took a little longer than expected but because this was an aesthetic project and not some kind of emergency work we were fine with the minor delays.

Randy and his team are so great to work with. Randy was very thorough in his assessment of all of the damage to our property from the hailstorm. He worked with our insurance company to get several things covered that other roofing companies had missed. His roofing, gutter and painting teams did such great work and made sure we knew their job was not finished until we were satisfied with their work. We couldn’t be happier!

Randy just completed a roofing for me last week. This is fourth house he did for me last 10 years. He and Ty Kretzinger did the excellent job with insurance claim and reroof my house. It took them almost three months to to settle with insurance claim . I am very happy with his work, his integrity and honessty are above all.That is a reason I always stay with him because I feel safe, worry free with him on my side.

Very nice people to work with, and reasonable price. I had a water pipe busted during the winter freeze, they responded quickly to reduce mole growth. I was relieved know my work being done correctly.

Peter and his team are responsive and do exactly what they say they are going to do. Peter also honored an estimate he gave to replace roof turbines that was given over a year ago, even the increase in materials over the past year. I will be using them to repair a poorly done add on to my house that was done prior to purchase and am confident that the work will be done correctly and not overpriced.
