We signed with The Grounds Guys a few weeks ago and are thrilled with their service. Chad visited for a consultation that respected our time but thoroughly understood our needs, such as no chemicals in the yard because our Rottie thinks he's a goat and eats the grass. Love their simple, effective plan for rain days because it makes planning a breeze. The crew is prompt and courteous, and the yard looks great. Very fair price for great weekly lawn service, plus they offer all sorts of add-ons like Christmas lights installation. Thanks for terrific service!

Professionally communicate and install.
All team members have company uniform. Installation team clean up after themselves. I am glad they sent their tech out to help program and adjust the sprinkler heads.

I hired Ground Guys to remove landscaping and amend/till the soil to make my beds ready for spring planting. The job they did was subpar unfortunately and it will require many more hours of work on my end to complete the job they were hired to do. Multiple attempts to allow them to rectify the issue were made but nothing was done. Lots of miscommunication and errors were made that prevent me from being able to recommend them for anyone looking for landscaping work. These pictures are just from one area where roots from plants were left behind and flagstone was found only two inches down.

The Grounds Guys are such a great company and do what they say they are going to do. They showed up on time with a crew and knocked out a large project on our property. They hauled away all the debris and left our place looking clean and fresh! We highly recommend their company to anyone needing lawn care services.

1. I had made a specific plan for the work, and they followed it precisely. They knew what they were doing in all aspects of the work. The result was just what I had expected.
2. As an English-only speaker, I appreciated that there was always an English speaker working the project.

This is an excellent company to work with. They’re organized, efficient, highly-skilled, and priced well. The job was done in a timely fashion and the staff maintained excellent communication with us. We will definitely hire them again.

My backyard was left a disaster by my ex. The ground wasn't level, bamboo was spreading everywhere, debris left in piles and old compost bins dug in the ground. This wasn't a job for any regular lawn maintenance crew, hell, I wouldn't have been able to do it over multiple days. I needed a professional and The Grounds Guys did just that. They luckily had an opening sooner than I expected and finished the job within 1 day. They exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them for residential extreme yard cleanups. Now my backyard just needs some tlc, something I can now do on my own.

The Grounds Guys did an amazing job rehabbing our backyard. The team had great vision and recommendations for what we were trying to accomplish with this project - and then they made it come to life beautifully!! Could not have asked for better results.

I called the Grounds Guys to get an estimate for landscape lighting for my home. The person who came to give me the estimate was extremely knowledgeable not only about the lighting but about the plants and architecture I wanted to highlight. She listened and explained how this could be done. The crew that came to install the lighting was professional and did a great job. I am so pleased with the landscape lighting. It has transformed the appearance of my home!

Ground guys landscaped my backyard. Jessa listened to what I wanted and sent a drawing of the plan. I liked and accepted the competitive proposal. They were on time and on budget. I would use ground guys again. It started with Jessa and appreciate her ability to provide her plan to the crew.

The Grounds Guys did an incredible job with our holiday lights! Our house looks absolutely amazing, and we've received so many compliments from neighbors and friends. The team was professional, efficient, and clearly dedicated to making everything perfect. Highly recommend their services—thank you for making our home shine this season!

We had the grounds guys come out to give us a quote on some new flower beds and revamping some old ones. Jessa knows plants and is an expert and helping the homeowner design and plant what would work best in your yard. The scheduling department is separate and that made it a little confusing at first. Luis was the crew leader and he did a great job communicating what was going to happen and made sure to address my concerns and slight placement changes. They were very respectful of our yard and maintained a clean working environment. Overall I can say it was a great experience and would use them again in the future.

I cannot say enough about the grounds guys! From diagnosing, scheduling to the execution the entire company communicated to me and to each other to expedite my service. They knew my yard needed a 911 so they did everything to make sure the job got done ASAP! I ended up needing a fungus and insect treatment. Right away you could see the difference. The most important to me was they where honest and trustworthy! Thank you to the entire team, Hicks family, Chad, summer, Brenda and Jose without yall this would have been impossible! Let’s just say, thank the good lord for sending The Grounds Guys my way. After the sudden death of my father, I was struggling to even get a quote in our area. Chad Milner has been the best PM I have experienced through this adjustment in life. I recently thought I had sprinkler issues but came to find out it was related to my pool. Caleb came to my rescue and did so much more than just explaining. He was able to help me reset the system and fix a few sprinkler heads that were going bad. And last but least, the crew that takes care of my yard are so awesome. I can’t give Chad Milner enough praise, even if the grounds Guys can’t help me with my home that I am managing alone, Chad has given me great contractors to seek out. Bottom line, the whole team rocks and I recommend them as a A+ partner of mine.

We had a severe drainage problem in our back yard, mostly because some outdoor sidewalk additions had created a dam, blocking water and causing floods in our back yard after rains (see photos). I called The Grounds Guys and they provided a detailed, reasonable, and professional estimate. The job was scheduled and the crew showed up early and worked hard to complete the job in one day. Shortly after installation, we had rains but no flooding in the back yard! I am very pleased with the quality of their work, the reasonableness of the estimate, and the courtesy and knowledge of their staff. And, the fact that the French drain worked to stop our backyard flooding is proof of their work. I highly recommend The Ground Guys for French drain installation. I plan to use them on our irrigation maintenance in the future.

I hired The Ground Guys to clear weeds in my mulch bed. I was only given a quote for nutsedge treatment and for biweekly yard cutting, so I assumed nutsedge was the main issue. It turns out I had other weeds as well. While all weeds were sprayed, only the nutsedge was removed leaving the rest of the dead weeds in the bed and I still have some nutsedge in my lawn after their service. I asked for a new quote to finish the job but never received one and ultimately had to hire another company. Poor communication, lack of follow through, and unsatisfactory results. I would not recommend.

Hope did a fantastic job on my irrigation system! I had removed my garden so some sprinkler heads needed capping and some new ones needed to be installed. Hope checked all 6 zones or my irrigation system and then proceeded to modify it. She did all that in an hour and 15 minutes. Hope is amazing!

The Grounds Guys of Friendswood really came through for us! They did a great job fixing up our backyard—moved a bunch of river rock, planted new stuff, built flower beds, and added a clean border around everything. Honestly, they saved my back from all that heavy lifting!

Once we cleared up a few communication mix-ups (mostly my fault), the crew got right to it. They worked hard, were super polite, and kept things professional the whole time. They also put in two root barriers around our Willow Oaks out front, and those turned out great too.

I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. These guys went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

Brandon and team did a great job updating our landscaping along with installing French drains. We were part of their weekly lawn maintenance plan. My lawn never looked better. After the recent hurricane the team repaired my fence and trimmed my trees 2-3 days after the storm. Highly recommend

I used Yardworks to add a whole turf backyard with putting green and sprinkler system refresh along with trees and shrubs. Excellent job back then. Fast forward to something going wrong with our sprinkler system this spring and they diagnosed it quickly and at 20-30% less then another quote. Came and fixed it in one two hour session. Pleased!
