Extremely pleased with Superior Masonry and working with Avery Glaze and his crew. All were polite, helpful, accommodating and thorough in the work done. We replaced a stone with brick cap border all in front of our home. 5 years ago, this same stone/brick cap was installed by another company but no rebar was used. So it shifted, cracked and started falling apart about 2 years ago. Superior replaced it, included rebar, and are confident this will be more stable than before and should last longer.

It was turning into a somewhat depressing search, with one company even saying it would cost $400 just for an estimate. When I found Superior Masonry on the internet, I was at first skeptical of the consistently great reviews but then set up an appointment with Stan. In a nutshell, Stan turned out to be extraordinarily responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The estimate was very fair, in fact better than I expected, and the whole job was completed in just 2 ½ days. The work crew was friendly, polite, and immediately handled every question or request I had. But mostly they were true artisans, hand cutting every stone they laid. From the rebar-reinforced footings to the precise setting of stones, the results came out better than I ever expected, and I could not be more pleased. If you need any brick or stonework, these are the guys to call.

Since our yard had several grade changes with a winding serpentine area it required transitions to achieve an attractive level border wall. We couldn't be happier with the finished product! We literally had 3-4 neighbors and others stop by to ask for a referral before the work was even complete. That says a lot about the quality, workmanship and clean appearance of the stonework. Note: We wanted to mention the areas to the left and right of the planter were seeded a week ago and have not quite grown in. Areas were not worn bare as a result of Superior Masonry's work. Minimal wear on grass and great clean up!

After 28 years in our house we had several places where mortar had deteriorated from the brick and several bricks cracked through, and also one place where the corner of the foundation had chipped away. We hired Superior Masonry (Avery was our main contact). They did a superb job, from the complete and fair job quote, getting scheduled right away, deploying a great crew (Gerardo was the crew leader), and getting the job done right. They went over all the spots with me before and after the job was done. Also they were very thorough in clean up. I would recommend them highly for masonry and concrete work.

The brick edging along our front walkway was separating, mortar was crumbling, uneven in spots, and in need of a makeover. We went with complete replacement. They matched the original brick perfectly, work was completed in just 2 days and it looks fantastic. Could not be more pleased. Crew was conscientious about flowerbeds, sprinkler heads and cleaning up. Highly recommend them!
