Constraction reviews in Frisco, Texas

Elite Outdoor Living did a great job in our back yard. One of the most impressive things about our structure was Elites attention to detail. Justin was a pleasure to work with and his crew was extremely professional. I strongly recommend if you are interested in building an outdoor living area be sure and talk with Justin and Elite Outdoor living.

We hired Justin and team this past year to build out our exterior landscape and hardscape for our 1940s historical home in Grapevine. Justin is extremely easy to work with. Justin's team and contractors are the best highest quality vendors I can speak about. After being under renovation for the past 3 years on the house, Justin came in with Corey, his lead foreman and handled the bid, plans, inspections and implementation on schedule. There were NO surprises. The quality of all work is top notch. It's so impressive. I'm so proud of the build out. We have an amazing outdoor kitchen, 2 pergolas, 2 stone patios, firewall, and composite deck and landscape. Corey is fabulous. He can get things done! I really like the vendors that I met during the process. They knew what they were doing!!!! It's been a great experience . Call me or go right over to our house in Grapevine. Justin is free to share my phone number and address. I can meet you there.

Elite Outdoor Living was an exceptional company to work with. Our screened patio and pergola look fantastic and both are well built. They were extremely professional, friendly and detail orientated. Justin listened to us and made some excellent suggestions. I highly recommend them.

Justin and his crew did an amazing job building our two new outdoor pergolas and installing our new 8’ fence. The results far exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be more pleased. We have received so many compliments. Justin was a pleasure to work with and has a great eye for design and detail. We gave him a plan of what we wanted and he recommended a few modifications that made a world of difference. We are so glad we had him to help guide us. Our project was very large and we expected some issues given the size. Any “issues” that did pop up were very minor and Justin promptly addressed. Communication is key with a big project and Justin was great about keeping in touch and getting back with us quickly when needed. We absolutely love our new pergolas and fence!! I would highly recommend Elite Outdoor Living to anyone!! P.S. If you are getting a pergola we highly recommend adding Polygal so you can take full advantage of your pergola in any weather. We love having all the same advantages of a covered porch, but with the beauty of a pergola.

We could not be more pleased with the results of our patio and pergola. Elite Outdoor Living delivered a great product. Justin and his crews were very easy to work with, from design to finished product. The crews were all professional, efficient, and made sure the work area was cleaned up at the end of each day.

Elite Outdoor finished a swimming pool, outdoor kitchen, and extensive landscaping project in Sept. 2021. The entire process was absolutely exceptional. We were in constant contact with Justin Brown and his team throughout the process. When challenges arose, they were quickly addressed and solved for. At the end of the day, the project turned out better than we could have ever imagined. Anyone and everyone that has seen it has been thoroughly impressed! I can't see enough good things about Elite Outdoor Living!

Elite has done a wonderful job building our backyard oasis. This included a pool, spa, hardscape, softscape, metal laser cut panels, turf etc. There was a lot of details to get right and they did this well. Justin and his team are dedicated to delivery, customer satisfaction and focused on details. There were many challenges including a limited space but they worked well in all these conditions. Justin and Elite cared about making it right and satisfying us. They were always willing to help whenever needed after the work was done. We are very happy with our experience.

Elite Outdoor Living has done two jobs for me. I had an addition put on my patio and also had my roof replaced due to hail damage. The patio was done timely and looks fantastic. I absolutely love it!!! The roof replacement only took two days and the crew was extremely courteous and the clean up was fantastic. When I came home in the evening, everything was put away and I hardly knew anyone had been at my home to do repairs. I would recommend Justin's crew for any outdoor work that needs to be done. They are the best!!!

Justin and team did a great job designing and building out our outdoor living space. Justin was great to bounce ideas off of, and brought several options for us to consider, helping us get to exactly what we wanted. We ended up installing a cedar ceiling for of our patio and a cedar arbor, as well as automated privacy screens. The Elite team really pays attention to detail, especially with the trim work, which gave us a very professional looking result. Would for sure hire them again for future outdoor projects.

I highly recommend Elite Outdoor Living. Justin was a pleasure to work with. He not only spends the time to ensure your satisfaction with the design he answers all your questions throughout the entire process. His crew was delightful to work with plus they made sure each day their work area was kept clean. The patio and landscaping looks fantastic. The quality of the work is excellent! I know we will enjoy it for many many years.

We are so thankful for Justin, owner of Elite Outdoor Living. We had another company do our landscaping and had to have Justin redo it. Never once did he bad mouth the other company.

Justin built our stone flower beds and it looks amazing. I always get people stopping me and telling me how great it looks. Justin’s crew worked hard and was very professional. They take pride in their work.
My next project with Elite will be my patio cover and extension. I have looked at other homes in my neighborhood that have patios by Elite and they are awesome!

Justin always checked in to see that everything was done to his satisfaction. We couldn’t be more satisfied with his integrity, professionalism and outstanding work. His prices are very compatible to other companies.

We are so glad we found Justin and would recommend to anyone that wants quality work, no matter what their project is.

My experience with Elite Outdoor Living has been fantastic. This is my second major backyard project. The first one was a blank canvas, and the second was a remodel/renovation. Both designs were by Randy Angell Designs (RAD); the only difference was that I used different companies to execute his designs. This round was leaps and bounds better than my first. Justin's attention to detail and the entire crew were phenomenal. He literally had this one corner done three times because his OCD didn't think it was "good" enough. Coming from a very OCD client, I was satisfied with the second attempt but loved that he wanted perfection.

Sam and the team kept me very informed and were patient with my decision-making struggles. They often put in a lot of long hours working on weekends.

I highly recommend Elite.

The outcome looks just like the design and something out of a magazine. I can't wait for the furniture to arrive and host my first event.

Big thank you to RAD and Elite for creating a beautiful Oasis for my daughter and me to enjoy!

We used Elite Outdoor for a total back yard renovation on our new home. Justin and his team were great to work with and we felt like they gave us the most competitive price after getting bids from 3 companies. Justin provided excellent input on the design and features for our new pool. He also made sure that every detail of the project was complete to both our satisfaction and his prior to finishing the job. We are thrilled with how the project turned out! I would highly recommend Elite Outdoor Living to anyone looking to undertake a pool or yard renovation.

We couldn't be any happier with Elite Outdoor! Our home was new construction and Justin and his team designed and installed our landscaping, pool, flatwork, deck, fencing, and lighting. Essentially they transformed the entire outside of our home and we love it! They are creative, meticulous, and professional in every way. We truly appreciated their communication, timeliness, and of course their creativity. Damon was an excellent project manager and their crews provide quality workmanship. This is often hard to find, but Elite does the job right and they don't cut any corners. I would highly recommend Justin and his team for any and all of your outdoor needs.

Elite’s team was fantastic. Justin brings a wealth of experience to the team and Cody is so responsive with the entire process. They brought a beautiful design to life for us (pool, landscaping, turf, concrete work, outdoor kitchen) and we couldn’t be happier. It’s scary to hire a contractor for such a big project and we have friends with so many nightmare stories. This was the opposite. High quality, beautiful, custom work and no big surprises on cost or anything of that nature along the way. Would highly recommend!

We had our front landscaping done by Elite Outdoor Living. Overall, we are quite happy with the way it turned out with a few exceptions.

The main point of contention is the Italian Cypress trees in our front yard. They were to be a focal point however the trees that were planted were of quite poor quality when compared to virtually every Cypress Tree seen in my neighborhood and around the city.

It has been a little over a year since they were planted and not only is their physical appearance quite displeasing but they are considerably unbalanced as they are leaning lopsided. We are quite unhappy with the trees and next summer, we will have them replaced which unfortunately, will be a considerable expense.

When speaking with another landscaper who had planted exceptional Cypress trees a few houses down, he was also quite surprised that rather then using rebar to ensure the trees remain straight, an unsightly and very visible white PVC piping was used to keep the trees upright (did not work).

The biggest lesson learned is to accompany the landscaper when selecting the actual trees as oppose to the landscaper selecting them.

Moving on to the custom steel planters, the paint quality was quite poor. To Elite's credit, they did send a team to rectify it, unfortunately it took repeated visits to get it right.

There was also an issue with the dimensions of the planters as they were not delivered as expected. Elite did take responsibility and suggested a work around but it was unnacceptable so we decided to stick with what was delivered and accepted a minor credit for compensation as we were not presented with the opportunity to have them remade from scratch to conform with the specifications in the contract.

Overall, I would recommend Elite Outdoor for your future landscaping. Justin, takes pride in his work and was physically on site getting his hands dirty to ensure plant placement was perfect.

Having said that, be sure not to leave the plant/tree selection to chance and accompany them when selecting the actual specimens that will be planted in your yard. It wouldn't hurt to stay on top of them when creating custom orders to ensure they are being built as per specs.

We purchased a new construction home in 2020 and the backyard had nothing but grass.  We came from a home that had a spectacular backyard oasis and pool and wanted something equivalent, or better.  We researched quite a few companies that specialized in unique creations which led us to Elite Outdoor Living. We met with our project manager, Colby Walding, and Colby took our ideas and came back with a design that we loved.  We had a chance to see it in 3D and really get a good idea of what the finished product would look like.  When the project was over it looked exactly like the 3D rendering. All of the teams that Elite used did a great job, carpenters, stone, tile and landscaping. If you are looking for a quality pool and outdoor living area, I highly recommend Elite Outdoor Living.

TJ was great to work with! He came out and presented us with the options and what would work with us best.
He built us a beautiful pondless waterfall that has really created a serene area in our yard.
His price was better that any quotes, and worked with us to get it completed in a very timely manner.
He stands by his work, any we will definately use him again in the future.

I cannot say enough good things about Justin, Kate, Cody and the whole team at Elite Outdoor Living. We had a wonderful experience. I initially reached out to Justin based on his high-rated reviews and the amazing, high-quality projects he has posted on his website. Justin and his designer created a design that was extremely well thought out and unique for our backyard. It blew the competition away and it was a no-brainer to go with him and his team.

Building a pool and backyard project – especially these days – is an expensive and stressful endeavor; even more so for someone like me who has a Type A personality and is OCD about a lot of things. However, Justin made himself available whenever necessary to answer questions and meet with me at our house to go over anything that needed to be discussed. I probably annoyed Justin throughout the project with all of my emails and questions, but he always responded appropriately, and answered my questions with assurances and directness.

As with any construction project, not everything is going to go to plan, and there are some things that may not be 100% perfect, or may change or may need to be adjusted, but Justin and his team will strive to do what ultimately looks best in the end. You can put your faith in Justin and his team to complete everything to your satisfaction and, in the end, even after you have paid the full amount of your project, if there is something that needs to be corrected or fixed, Justin will make sure it gets done. Justin stands by his work and his warranties and guarantees. To me, this is something that really sets him apart from other builders. I have heard lots of horror stories from others with incomplete projects or projects that are falling apart or in need of repair shortly after completion and the builder will not answer or return their calls. This is NOT the case with Justin and his team. They will make sure you are 100% satisfied.

I am a very satisfied customer. The design, the materials used, the equipment, the landscape, the appliances, the lighting, everything; it is high quality and it all has an architectural or functional purpose. Outstanding work. If you do not believe me, just look at the pictures!

Elite Outdoor Living and Justin Brown: Unmatched in Outdoor Living Excellence

Choosing Elite Outdoor Living and Justin Brown for our backyard project was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We were introduced to Justin by Randy Angell, who created an extraordinary design for our space. Justin and his team then brought that vision to life with precision and excellence, delivering far beyond our expectations.

What sets Justin apart is that he’s not just a specialist in one trade—he’s a master of everything that makes an outdoor space exceptional. While there are many companies that build great pools, Elite Outdoor Living offers so much more. Justin’s team excels in every aspect, from stunning pools to immaculate landscaping, state-of-the-art lighting, sport courts, fire pits, and beautiful social lounging areas. His trades are exceptional, and when you work with him, you get the whole package.

One of the biggest reasons we chose Justin was his incredible level of ownership. From start to finish, he was deeply involved in every detail of the project. He wasn’t just there for the sales process—he was with us every step of the way. He personally oversaw everything, from staking out the yard to double-checking the work during construction. He was there when the pool was being dug and built, planting the landscaping, and ensuring every detail came together seamlessly.

When we needed the project completed in time for our holiday guests, Justin went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. He was out there himself finishing punch-list items and even power-washing the pavers. His level of pride in his work and his dedication to his customers is unmatched. You can tell he truly cares, and that passion is reflected in the final product.

The transformation of our backyard is nothing short of breathtaking. Justin and his crew created an incredible outdoor living space that our family and friends will enjoy for years to come. We honestly became friends through the process as it was filled with laughter and fun crafting something truly special together.

If you’re considering an outdoor project, look no further than Elite Outdoor Living. Justin Brown and his team are simply the best at what they do, and I promise you won’t find anyone who delivers a more complete and extraordinary experience.

We hired David and his team for a big back patio project. We replaced a rotted wooden deck with travertine pavers and some turf. They did such great work on this project that we felt comfortable having them replace our pool decking as well and continuing the pavers throughout the back. Lastly, they refinished the pool. I cannot express how happy we are with the final product and quality of work. David knows what he is doing. The only area that could be improved slightly is the communication between us and the office. David always did what he said he was going to do, but more timely responses to questions and proactive info on the timing of certain work would improve the experience.

Their team completed this big project much faster than I anticipated. It is no surprise when they had the full team out there working every day, unlike many other contractors. At the end of the day, we have worked with many contractors over the years and they are by far the best. Personality-wise, David’s vision, and ultimately the execution was top notch. If you have an important project to do, I highly recommend you talk to Green Paradise.
