Constraction reviews in Frisco, Texas

Beautiful Backyard Living was wonderful to work with from designing to constructing my outdoor fireplace and kitchen.

Marcia Foster was wonderful in explaining the design and construction process.

The patio looks soooo beautiful! The crew from Guadalupe Murillo Masonry did beautiful work! They hand chiseled the rock.

I highly recommend Beautiful Backyard Living.

We like our project manager, Marcia. We had excellent experience with this construction company! They were professional, reliable, and completed the project on time and within budget. The quality of work exceeded our expectations, and their attention to detail was impressive. Highly recommend for any construction needs!

I have been a Realtor in the Frisco and North Dallas area for over 25 years and I referred several of my clients to Beautiful Backyard Living for their backyard and outdoor living projects. Each client that I have referred has come back raving about their experience and how the final results are exceeded their expectations.

The team at Beautiful Backyard Living is professional, honest and transparent from start to finish. Their craftsmanship in building patios, pergolas and outdoor kitchen is top-notch, and they truly care about quality and customer satisfaction.

Further, I hired them to design and build my own backyard and I couldn’t be happier! Bobby, Deanna and their crew are the real deal! Reliable, creative and worth every penny! If you’re looking for the best patio builder or outdoor kitchen contractor in the Frisco and surrounding areas, look no further than Beautiful Backyard Living… highly recommend!

Deanna and team did a wall demolition and finish to create one large bedroom for our daughter’s room. It was a small project but we had such a great experience when they did our outdoor kitchen and patio that we relied on them to do this as well. Deanna walked through the project goals with me and also came by on day one to kick it off. The crew did a great job and finished in one day. The results were better than I thought. They monitored every detail and kept everything clean and professional while they were in the house. We love the work and service that BBL provides and highly recommend them.

We just finished up our patio project with BBL and it has been a great experience to work with them from beginning to end. Deanna had a great vision of how we could improve the space after giving her our list of what we wanted out of the space. She had a preliminary design drawn up and once approved, BBL started working on the process right away.

Austin, the construction manager, was also great to work with. Coordinating with the contractors was easy through him. Any hiccups in the process (all normal construction issues that you could expect to encounter) were communicated in a timely manner and resolved.

All in all, you can expect to be in good hands with these guys.

We’d been looking to update our backyard for a fee years but were always intimidated by the process, especially with the range of cost from provider to provider. Beautiful Backyard Living was absolutely awesome from start to finish! Deanna, Austin, Zack and Bobby were very patient and helpful- we incorporated a lot of change orders to get the result we were looking for. The concrete, construction/framing/finish out, electrical, paint/stain and masonry crews were all very hard working and delivered top notch results. I can’t say enough about the quality of this experience and the quality of the BBL team members. We will be having them all over for BBQ soon!

Worked with Deanna and Austin to add a covered patio to our outdoor living space. They met all expectations and more. They worked with us on style and size given our requirements and desires. They provided great communication. They provided clarity on cost and change orders (we added on more than originally requested after the start of the project). They were flexible to work with our evolving needs. Overall a great experience. I would highly recommend their services.

DeAnna and the Big Beautiful Backyard team were exceptional on our project. DeAnna’s professionalism, extensive knowledge, and commitment to supporting our project with the most cost-effective materials were invaluable. Her installation team demonstrated meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality product. They designed and constructed a fire pit that we are extremely satisfied with.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to DeAnna and her team for their exceptional service.

We recently had a large project completed that included full demolition of an existing large patio and patio cover, installation of a new larger patio and cover, plus a fire pit. We are beyond thrilled with the end result and it exceeded our expectations. Communication throughout the process with everyone involved at Beautiful Backyard Living was outstanding from the start, and they were very accommodating to us.

The team at Beautiful Backyard Living was awesome to work with! From day one, their communication was clear and easy, and they treated us like family. They showed great respect for our property and made sure everything was done with care. Every crew they brought in took great pride in their work - and the stone mason? Total artist! Marcia and Austin were amazing! We gave Marcia some vague ideas and she turned them into the outdoor space we've always dreamed of. Austin was on top of everything. When matching brick could not be found locally, he actually drove hours to get the perfect match so the the fireplace blended seamlessly with the house. Talk about going the extra mile! We absolutely love relaxing in our new space with family and friends. It's everything we hoped for and more! If you are thinking about a patio project, we highly recommend Beautiful Backyard Living!

5-Star Review – Beautiful Backyard Living
After meeting with four different companies for our patio extension and custom stone flower bed edging, we selected Beautiful Backyard Living (BBL) — and without hesitation, it was the right decision. To us, they were the best.
From the very beginning, owner Bobby Craven impressed us with his “can-do” attitude and his kind, courteous nature. He truly listens and approaches each project with professionalism and integrity.
Zachary Craven was instrumental in helping us refine the design and navigate the HOA application process. His guidance made what could have been a complicated approval process smooth and stress-free.
Austin Craven, our Project Manager, ensured everything was executed with precision. Communication was clear, timelines were respected, and the crew maintained a clean and organized job site throughout the project.
The transformation of our home speaks for itself.
In the backyard, what was once a standard builder slab with grass running to the edge is now a fully extended patio with a beautifully crafted stone half-wall and countertop that functions as an outdoor kitchen and gathering space. The concrete finish is clean and level, and the transition between the original slab and the extension is seamless.
The stonework is exceptional. The stone selection perfectly complements our home’s exterior masonry — so much so that it genuinely looks like it was built with the home from day one. The capstones, mortar joints, and alignment show real craftsmanship and attention to detail.
In the front yard, the custom stone flower bed edging added architectural structure and curb appeal. It transformed a basic landscaping bed into a refined, finished feature that enhances the entire elevation of our home.
BBL didn’t just meet expectations — they exceeded them at every level. After evaluating four companies, we are confident we chose the very best team for the job. The quality of workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail delivered outstanding value for the investment we made. We would hire them again without hesitation and strongly recommend Beautiful Backyard Living to anyone who wants their outdoor project done right the first time.

We had an outstanding experience with Beautiful Backyard Living from start to finish. They handled all of our concrete work and patio extension, built-in BBQ grill, and electrical work, and the results exceeded our expectations.

Deanna was phenomenal to work with — her attention to detail, responsiveness, and willingness to answer questions and take feedback made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Communication was consistent, clear, throughout the project.

The quality of the work speaks for itself, and the finished space has completely transformed our backyard.

If you’re looking for a team that delivers high-quality work, great communication, and a true customer-first approach, I highly recommend Beautiful Backyard Living.

First visit to the store and it was closed during business hours. No big deal, this happens. Walk into the store today 9/26/2020 and lady comes out. Sees us, says she forgot her mask and goes back. Comes out with mask below her nose. Proceeds to talk to us. Then just pulls her mask off again. I walked out of the store. Place has no respect for customers safety and health.

Kim and Todd are great to work with. The guys are very prompt and clean. Very pleased with the work and plan to use them again.

Alice and Todd did a great job! They made the process easy and answered all questions along the way. They got me on the schedule almost immediately and took care of everything from start to finish.

We are so delighted with our dining room floors. The work was done very professional and in the time described.
I would highly recommend Granite and More in Plano to do your floors

Just from seeing your Google listing made me realize you guys were very professional and serious about getting your customers attention. Your store was lovely and supplied everything i needed for granite countertops. For a granite store in Frisco, you guys supply everything one needs to remodel a house into a home.

Had a fantastic experience with this team! The sales experience was knowledgeable, friendly and NOT pushy. Pricing was straight forward and competitive and what we appreciated above all was the professionalism of team - always confirmed times and showed up on time. Will definitely recommend and use again!

Granite & More has everything i need when i'm looking for home remodeling supplies! From kitchen and bathrooms to flooring and carpets! This is a great store. And the customer service by Troy and his team are great!

Looking for a granite countertop supplier in Frisco was a little tough at first. I had to read reviews and visited websites to make the decision that Granite & More was the place to visit in Plano. And i'm glad that i made the right choice. Granite & more and sooooo much to offer. They had everything from kitchen to living room to bathroom materials. Thanks Granite & more!

This company goes above and beyond on everything they do. The customer service is wonderful. The turn around time is less then half the competitors as long as with the price. Alice and Troy made the process easy and quick. Best of all the workers and the work was as professional as it gets. There is no need to go with anyone else. A+++
