These guys live up to their reputation! We had Dietrich Electric install a Generac transfer switch given all the power outages last winter. They showed up on time and discussed install options with no pressure or scare tactics. Came back a week later for install and even came back a third time for a tutorial after we received our generator. Very professional and enjoyable to work with. They are now our go to for any electrical needs!

My husband and I recently purchased a home, and before closing, the previous owner hired Dietrich to address some electrical issues. After we moved in, we began experiencing problems with our breakers constantly tripping, which prevented our AC from working—an issue we had not encountered prior to his work.

Wanting clarity, I called Dietrich to better understand the scope of the work he completed and whether it could be related. I explained that I wasn’t sure of the exact terminology and simply wanted to learn more. Instead of offering a professional explanation, he immediately became defensive, speaking to me in a condescending manner as if I were accusing him of something—which was not my intention at all.

When I pointed out that the issue only began after his work, his response was, “That’s what happens when you buy a used house,” which I found extremely rude and dismissive. He then told me to “contact an electrician” if the problem persisted—as though that were not his line of work.

While the original repair may have been completed, the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and customer service during my interaction was unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Dietrich.

Friendly, punctual, and affordable. Dietrich replaced both electrical panels on my house and helped trouble shoot a 3 way switch issue. They showed up on time, completed the work quickly, and were very professional. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

They scheduled an appointment promptly and were on time, which is always appreciated. The electricians who came to my home were courteous, efficient, and clearly very knowledgeable.

They took the time to explain the issues with my electrical system in simple terms, and they offered several solutions. The work was completed quickly without compromising on quality, and they left the work area spotless. I also felt their pricing was very fair for the level of service and expertise they provided.

Dietrich Electrical Service did an outstanding job installing my Google Nest Cam with Floodlight. The camera was mounted about 15 feet from the ground, which was too high for me to handle. They ran about 3 feet of metal conduit on the front brick facing of the house, between the camera and a power source under the eave at the front corner. They even had a 45-degree angled extension fabricated to accommodate the height of the installation, ensuring everything fit perfectly. The installation looks clean and professional, and everything was done efficiently and safely. I highly recommend their services for any residential electrical work!

Great people and very smart. This father and son saved me thousands of dollars. A local HVAC company recommended I redo my whole heater system when in reality it was a very minor issue. 24 KW Generac whole-hose generator installation. Knowledgeable, skilled and extremely easy to work with. As a former electrician I can say that you will not get better quality work and service from anyone. And, excellent pricing! Yes, former electrician but as the saying goes: "Don't try this at home" - call Dietrich !!

Contacted Dietrich Electric for possible issue with my elderly parent’s home. Appointment was easy to schedule, Mr. Dietrich understood my concern. He arrived on time and quickly assessed the “problem” which in fact was not a problem. Other service providers might have taken advantage of my ignorance but he did not. In fact there was no charge, not even a trip charge. I cannot recommend Mr Dietrich more highly. I will certainly be using him in the future and will recommend him to all.

Nice, very helpful and professional people. My schedule moves around a bit, and they let me know before they head over so I can make sure I was there. Make things a lot easier.

Dishonest company, condescending owner with no respect for the customer. Expectation is to have a plumbing expert show up and explain to us our options in order to get the issue fixed right the first time. Instead we've been billed over 5 hours of labor charges for a leaky bathtub faucet that was never fixed correctly. Parts were replaced with first 2 visits, and the bathtub was leaking again the following month. I called the original plumber back with the understanding that he would do the right thing and not charge us for an issue that was not repaired appropriately the first time. After re-fixing the faucet leak with some Teflon tape he recommended the replacement option as soon as possible, admitting that he should've gone that route originally after seeing the age and condition of the faucet during the first visit. Actually said the cliche, "hindsight is 20/20". We were disappointed that we received an invoice for 2 hours of labor for the follow-up "repair" plus drivetime. We tried calling the company to dispute these unfair charges with Mr. Walz, the owner. He had the audacity to tell me it had been 35 days since the first repair and they only warranty their work for 30 days. Proceeded to tell me that I was part of the problem with society today, always trying to get something for nothing. Ultimately we were compelled to use another company that would've easily fixed it right the first time, and now have work warrantied for 1 year.

Kenny came out and helped uncover a leak and repaired it. He’s always friendly and we have respectful conversations about politics with our differing opinions. His knowledge and expertise with plumbing is invaluable and, as a non-profit organization, we appreciate his ability to repair things right the first time. He also asks to look at minor issues so I get the full value of his hourly rate. We will use him again when needed!

I have been cleaning and maintaining pools for five years now and I have always enjoyed maintaining Pool Concepts Pools. When you put the right equipment in and it’s done right it makes My job a lot easier.

BUILD BEAUTIFUL POOLS; BUT NOT GOOD AT RESPONDING TO CALLS FOR SERVICE OR QUESTIONS.... called Monday, were told would receive a call back within 48 hrs. called again yesterday... still no response... cancelled call today; will call another company... had the same problem when pool was being built; and for warranty work.

Excellent. I highly recommend this company. Most knowledgeable of all the pool companies I researched. They exceed standards and will make sure that everything is done right. They have been nothing but trustworthy and honest. I truly feel like they honestly care about me being happy with my pool. This company definitely is the industry's best!

Had an appointment today. The sales person called and said that they can't make any work at my house because my house is so far away from them and it was not going to be fair for the workers. I'm only 39 minutes away from Pool Concepts. I guess they don't want to sale any pools. Lost a customer here and will probably lose more customers. I'm not recommending this company

Great pool company, from start to finish. We have had our pool over 10 years and I can still pick up the phone to call them with any questions. Great customer service. Would highly recommend them and I have. Other friends have used them with great results as well.

Beginning is wonderful with design. Jason had a lot of patience with us and visited with us many times. Alma did a decent job too throughout the process. In the fall/winter months, the pool was forecasted to take 8-10 weeks. They started in November and it seemed on track to be completed in early January. It was cutting it to the T, as there was little last minute details (firepit) that weren’t complete yet. In addition, it was clearly seen that some of the last minute details like the box to turn on gas fire pit , the tile in spa, etc. had poor quality done for a 90-100k pool.

All in all, I would recommend them but last minute details is what we just recently got resolved (March)after the start in late October/ early November. Also, there bubbler and features don’t turn on the same time, which as first time pool buyers, would’ve thought would be different.

Hope they can mitigate some of the things that we’ve experienced. Overall, 4 out of 5 because on those minor, yet important details.
