Estimation process and adjustments to plan and response was very good. Team showed up as promised. They did a good job, communicated well and left everything nice and clean.

There were a couple of work quality issues. But the Theiss team jumped on them very quickly and addressed them as promised.

This was a our second project with the Theiss team. I would recommend them and would definitely have them back for another project.

Honestly, at first we were reluctant to call a professional landscape company. We had dealt with some before and not only did we get oversold, but the quality of the result and experience were subpar. BUT, from my wife's initial call to Theiss to the finished product it was a fantastic experience working with the whole Theiss team. The initial estimating process and design were thorough and very clear. They were always pleasant on the few changes we had on design and even during initial work. They advised in areas they felt we were making mistakes, but were more than willing to do it anyway.

Their team on the ground worked hard, had very good communication skills and took GREAT pride in their work. It really gave us a feeling like it was their own.

The final product looks fantastic and honestly their costs were as good as what I was getting from the several subs I would have had to manage myself. I would and will hire them for our next project, hands down!

I have used Theiss Landscape and Works quite a few times for various projects, and have never been disappointed, only very very pleased. From the person listening to what I would like done, to the guys working on the project, very personable, friendly, but also professional. I felt extremely comfortable with their workers being around my property, and they don’t stop until the job is done right, but they are also efficient with time. I’m very thankful for this company!

Theiss Landscape Works did a fantastic job yet again! We just completed our third project in a two year period. We are always happy with the service, pricing and their commitment to get the job done to meet our expectations. We have used Theiss Landscape Works to complete our yard. After we installed a pool, the entire back yard was a mess. They met with us, listened to our suggestions and after we sent them a plot plan, came with a beautiful vision. All the plants, lighting, planters, travertine stepping stones, sod, sprinklers, and trees were addressed and their crew did an amazing job. I like how they list every expense on their bid and guarantee their work. We back up to a lake, and walkers along our back fence tell us that we have the most beautiful landscaped yard in our entire neighborhood. Thank you Theiss Landscape! You are amazing!!!

Theiss Landscape planned, designed and installed landscape in our new backyard. My husband and I were so impressed with the communication from our liaison, Matt Freeman, from start to finish. He worked with us on choosing stone and tree selection, and fielded multiple phone calls from us with a lot of patience. He even went so far as to go to several locations looking for a waterfall urn and face timed with us showing the options. His recommendations for selections were exactly what we envisioned. We submitted pictures of ideas and Randy took those and put together such an amazing design with a variety of suggestions. It turned out even better than we envisioned! The crew, led by crew leader Gary, worked all day into dark installing our hardscape and plant selections. He had 2 crews working and they were so organized. I hope Monty Theiss will post pictures soon so everyone can see the fabulous work!

I couldn’t be more pleased with the landscaping design Justin Theiss created for my back yard. Justin and Matt worked closely with me and came up with exactly what I wanted. They carefully supervised the repaving, fountain and lighting installation, rock edging and flagstone stepping stones, drainage installation, and planting of beautiful, healthy shrubs and flowers. We have used Theiss for landscaping needs at our home in the past and been very happy. This last weekend we went to their nursery for a sale event and were so impressed with the family atmosphere and the service. We were welcomed and helped to choose some trees for our property. Every person we met was friendly and professional. Matt generously spent time to help us pick out just the right trees and then went out of his way to help us figure out how to transport the ten trees we bought. Will definitely be returning for business in the future!

The project team leader Gary and his team worked extremely hard in a blazing sun with firm objectives of what they were going to accomplish each day. At the end of each work day our yard was cleaned up and tools were put up ready for the next day.

We enjoyed our entire experience working with Theiss Landscaping and love our final product. Our initial contact with Matt was helpful in deciding what we wanted to accomplish. Randy was great drawing it out and always willing to make as many changes as we needed to make the project exactly what we wanted. Each and every person we interacted with cared about this project as much as we did. This company definitely takes pride in their work and values customer service which is hard to find now days.

Theiss Landscape Works is one of the best contractors of any type my family has ever used for any project. The team there is awesome. They allowed us to work in stages with our project because we had several other projects going on all at once which was such a wonderful accommodation.

These guys are great. They finished a landscaping project in the backyard with lots of plants and I'll be hiring them back for the front yard when we are ready. The people were efficient and cleaned up after with no issues. Pricing was very reasonable I feel we got our moneys worth.

Isaac, the crew manager was available to answer questions and addressed the finer details of the project throughout the completion. We have been dreaming of our backyard landscape project for three years. Our list of priorities included resolving drainage issues, adding Texas native plants, and outdoor lighting, all while keeping the safety of our Boston terriers in mind. Theiss’ design for our new garden checks all the boxes and is beautiful! The Theiss team is highly capable, from the creative design and detailed estimate, through execution and final walk through; all stages of our project were well communicated, and responsive to our needs. I am Co-Owner of Cool Wave Pools in Brenham and the Theiss Landscaping Group was a great partner of ours with the Beitler Pool Project in Hempstead. We were looking for a landscaping company to finish around the newly constructed house and pool when we noticed Justin Theiss was next door finishing up on another project. Justin came over and soon after, they were implementing/installing their landscaping design! The install was seamless and right on time. It had been raining all spring and somehow, they managed to finish just in time before the rains started up again. I highly recommend Theiss Landscape Works for any size landscaping project. They are professional in all aspect of the process, from estimating, design, to finished product. Cool Wave Pools is looking forward to many more project with them in 2025.

We are in the midst of building a custom home which to this point has proven to be anything but smooth. Part of the problem has been errors in deciphering topographic maps and elevation issues. This resulted in much more dirt work than we were told about or budgeted for. Unfortunately, this resulted in having to have a retaining wall built for the front left corner of the property. We reached out to 3 landscape companies to give us bid for the wall. All 3 were very prompt in their responses but Theiss went above and beyond. Randy was our contact and he was prompt to the nature of what was happening, he offered real world and correct advice, and worked with us to solve an unplanned problem. Initially Randy said that they were probably 3 weeks out from being able to do the job but he understood some time constraints and we were on the books and began work 3 days after signing our contract. The Theiss team was prompt, thorough, systematic, and complete. They walked me through every step of what they were doing and why. They had excellent communication and follow up. They started work just after a major rain storm and I never thought they would show up and would want to reschedule. They arrived first thing in the morning and stayed til late in the day. Our wall was projected to be done in 3 days and sure enough, they completed the entire thing as scheduled and on budget. Overall, they did an excellent job and we are extremely pleased. If the need arises in the future to need a landscape company I wouldn't hesitate to immediately reach out to Randy and Theiss. Total 5 star company and job!
