David was extremely knowledgeable and provided a thorough evaluation and explanation of everything needed to convert our wood-burning fireplace to a gas logs system. Nayar was professional and provided rapid service installing the propane gas line without tearing up the yard. David and Jacob provided great communication and customer service when installing our gas fireplace and replacing our hail damaged chase with a new custom-made chase. I highly recommend this company!

Jacob from Lone star chimney was the only company that was able to provide services the same day. Upon inspection of the fireplace, there was actually a lot more going on than expected. They provided a fair quote and completed the full restoration the following day. We are extremely happy with the work provided. They were quick and efficient and couldn’t be happier. All around a five star company. Thank you for helping us in a pinch, the dead squirrel smell was unbearable to say the least.

Val and Julio did a great job of making the necessary repairs. Communication was clear throughout the entire process. Hired Lonestar to repair my chimney and redo the cap up top. After they completed that, I decided to purchase a new fireplace system and enclosure. The choices were beautiful so it was hard to choose, but I went with the textured black Colombia doors. I’m very pleased with the product, install, and most of all - the service. Val was a great technician and thoroughly explained everything he was doing. He didn’t try to upsell me on anything that I didn’t need. Glad I gave them my business!

With the recent violent storms in our area I thought it would be wise to have chimney inspected. I called lone Star & Edgar came out. He inspected, took plenty of pictures & told me things that needed immediate attention. He was very professional & knowledgeable. He thoroughly answered all of my questions. He came back the next day with a crew to complete the work before any storms might come through & damage anything. He showed me pictures of the completed work which was at a reasonable price.

Great experience with Val! I found them and scheduled the appointment through Thumbtack after discovering a leak in my chimney. They had next day availability. Val walked me through all the issues with my leaky chimney, talked about repair options, and advised on indoor fireplace set up. One week total from initial inspection to when the work was completed.

Problems fixed better than ever!

They originally hired a contractor because they were swamped when we called. I'm sure this is not common for them. They actually care a great deal about doing a great not just good job. I will be referring them.

When they found out we were still having problems they came out and not only fixed but replaced everything. They were efficient, they even called to ask if they could come early. Never had that happen before. My gas fireplace works like it did when it was new 25 years ago. They helped me keep my wall switch instead of a remote that we'd loose. Very very impressed by them.

The diagnosis was thorough and efficient because they are experts at what they do, and why you'd call them in the first place. They are not beginners, nor trying to fake it. The explanations (because I'm no chimney expert) were clear and simple. The work was outstanding--not joking by calling Edgar and his team artists. There is care and attentiveness in the detail of their work. They took care of my home as if it were their own. The experience was not without issue, so I will add some details to that which I think paints an even better picture of the professionalism of Edgar and the whole company.

Sometimes accidents happen. In this case, some of the materials used in the fireplace restoration dripped onto our carpet. I reached out to Edgar and he was COMPLETELY professional and empathetic--it was very clear to me that he wanted to make it right, and not make it go away. Sometimes people just want to turn and burn but Edgar and Lone Star are different. They went above and beyond to resolve the issue for me, presenting me with options, and making sure that they still delivered world class service. Headaches like this are utterly annoying, especially when you have to fight and argue your way through it and in this case, there was no debate. Lone Star owned it and made sure it got fixed the way I wanted it fixed. I am confident that in the unlikely event something does not go as planned, you can absolutely trust that it will be fixed. That's why this is a 5 star review. My expectations were exceeded.

We recently moved into this 1980's home so there's a lot that needs attention, or at the very least some professional inspection, to gain the confidence we want in the condition of our home. Within minutes, Edgar taught me about what I have, the current and potential issues, as well as what the process is to fix or resolve them. Now I have a fireplace, chimney, and system I am confident is safe, clean, and operable.

The prices were fair, and the work was done quickly. They were also VERY sweet to our doggos who insisted on inspecting their work throughout the job.
