We had a technician come by to evaluate our fireplaces, he said both were not working and required $2200 worth of service to fix the pilot on one and a remote on the other. We thought that was way too high so had another company come and they found that the fireplace with a “pilot” issue was just a few loose wires and the one that needed a new remote - the remote was not set to “on.” Two simple fixes that cost us $150!
