Sundek completed the application of their multi-coating process to our 40-year old community pool deck - and we couldn’t be happier. The coating provided a new, very attractive look that our residents will be proud of. Their personnel were professional, collaborative, and knowledgeable - anticipating and planning for possible issues given the deck’s age. We highly recommend this technology and provider for HOA managed pools!

We contracted with Sundek to resurface our pool deck. They were very professional; showed up on time and did a great job. Our pool deck looks like new. The price was much more reasonable than other quotes we received. Would definitely recommend Sundek.

My 2007 Sundeck pool deck and sidewalk had been worn down from years of use, settling, power washing, cleaning, planters, etc. Bullion Coatings removed the old covering, ground and epoxy-repaired several significant cracks, replaced the rubber liner between the deck and the pool coping, applied a new base layer and leveled to remove some old low spots, applied the new Sundeck textured material, finished the decking material surface with leveling tools, and painted it a beautiful bright color, all while protecting my nearby slate patio deck, plants, and lawn. The plant and deck protection included a special wrapping of the area with a large paper material retained by special elastic tape. They also match-painted my drain covers and skimmer covers. The entire process took their crews two days and my pool area and sidewalk are now spectacular. They also provided guidance on how to keep the texture and color fresh for years ahead. Satisfied customer.

They came to resurface my pool deck abut 8 years after the initial application and to change the color and include area under my covered patio. 2 weeks after they were finished, we had a big rain storm that flooded my patio (totally expected with Houston Rain and all), however after the waters receded I noticed that there were 3 areas where water now pooled where it didn't before. Vincent Came out and looked, flooded my deck with water, noticed where it was pooling reviewed the before pictures to show that it didn't used to pool there, and stated if it doesn't dry up after 2 hours it should be addressed, but will contact their manager to review. Jonathan came out, didn't flood the deck, and just stated that they wouldn't do anything, but I could pay more money and they would attempt to refloat to fix the areas. The new coating does look good, I just wish I knew that they would NOT fix issues/areas where they created issues.

Had Sundek of Houston re-surface the pool decking at our residence. They removed the surface, cleaned it, fixed the cracks and re-textured and painted. The crew, Jose, Lenin, Russell, & Carlos did an excellent job. Very good communication and worked very hard

We contracted with Sundek to resurface our patio and pool deck. Sundek was outstanding to work with from start to finish. Michael spent time patiently and professionally collaborating with us on the look we wanted to achieve at the cost we wanted to spend. Once we settled on a design, he suggested an idea to save $ on the overall design and his suggestion not only saved dollars, but actually improved the final result. Alternate samples of our design were worked up so that we could get a good visual before finally agreeing to the design. The project was completed on time and it was done flawlessly with the crew assigned to our project. They lead on the project was clearly a skilled artisan and also very easy to work with. They kept a clean job site day to day and the final clean-up was to our satisfaction. Michael showed up onsite almost daily to check on progress and make sure we were happy and came back again after it was completed to make sure we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

They do business in an excellent manner, from first evaluation visit, to final check the work visit. All staff professional and as you can possibly be. The workers on my patio were outstanding--worked so hard, pleasant, respectful of property. cleaned up afterwards completely. Kept me informed each day of what was going to happen next. The previous owner tried to repair the old concrete around our pool with paint and it failed, flaking off all over the place. After pressure washing, we found multiple layers of paint and crud and tried to repaint some but it failed. We quoted outrageously priced flagstone or stamped concrete. A vendor wanted to offer an ugly gray rubber coating at a high cost... When it seemed like no one could do what we wanted at a reasonable cost, we found Sundek who came out and did a fantastic job re-coating our knock down acrylic pool deck. It went from looking awful to looking new again. They arrived on time and completed the work in 2 full days with a team of 6 and maintained distancing at all times. They also left everything clean. We were impressed with the service quality and happy to have a beautiful deck again that stays cool on the feet!

Sundek did a great job of repairing and repainting my patio. The expansion joints between the pool coping, the spa and the decking were also replaced. Jose and his crew did an excellent job and were very meticulous and thorough. I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend Sundek of Houston to repair and / or replace your patio surface.

We just finished the pool deck overlay with a stone pattern on our large outdoor area. I was very nervous starting this large job.
I must say that this was one of the most professional on point and timely finished jobs we have had done. Mr Steve Mergler our sales person was there for any and all questions and he came to oversee the job . Eric Stone Carlos La Zoya Gonzalo Lenin and Diego Jesus Jose Jordan and Fenicio worked so clean and steady and took great care with our home and property. They did a wonderful job and I am so impressed how professional the entire crew was.
I want to give a special thanks to our Sales man Steve. He was a pleasure to work with- helpful- informative and always on time and did everything as promised.

Our pool deck looks better now but it had to be done three times until it was right. The first time it looked good with just some small pinholes. They decided to redo the whole thing. They did such a terrible job the second time and just rushed it. Had to done yet again. Took them 4 days to redo it that time (it's not a huge deck). They had overspray on our furniture and firepit (all moved out of the way). Ripped off a bunch of paint and damaged hardi-plank. Would not give us a discount for the damage done or the inconvenience to us. Did not seem to care that a mess was left or damage done.

We had some issues when they resealed our deck but Johnathon came out and checked to see the issues we were having! He sent a crew out to redo the sealing the next week and it now looks great and new again! They will stand by their work!

We used Sundek to refurbish the deck coating around our pool and to add a stamped concrete surface to our front walkway. Everything was done on schedule with excellent quality. The crew that did the work at our house were professional and clearly dedicated to doing great work. Would recommend them with no hesitation.

SUNDEK resurfaced my driveway and sidewalk in Feb 2024. Really looks great! Very happy with the result. Russell and Jaime did great work. They were professional and friendly. Showed up when they were supposed to and did the work according to the agreed schedule. We had some weather delays in January. SUNDEK was easy to work with on rescheduling.

Sundek helped us apply a nonslip clear sealant over our existent patio deck so that it wouldn’t be so slippery when wet. It made the whole patio look new again—we didn’t realize how much it had faded—and it’s no longer slippery when wet. They also filled in several missing chunks of concrete that had chipped away over the years and matched it to our original color perfectly. They were easy to schedule and reschedule with around weather and very accommodating. Will definitely use them again when it’s time to reseal.

Sundek representatives were great to work with and answered all my questions while he was working! Eric and Gonzalo were very courteous and easy to communicate with! I highly recommend them and was impressed with the quality of their work.

I wish all contractors communicated as well as Sundek of Houston did! They were professional, communicative and thorough from Sales to the installation crafts and final inspections. Never did we have to worry. They all went the extra mile to protect the areas surrounding the deck. And the decking looks great!
