If you are looking for a trustworthy contractor that can execute on your vision for a transformed space in your home at a reasonable price, then VCS Contruction and Remodeling owned by Trey Seiter is the right company for the job! We did not need an architect for this project as Trey knew exactly what we wanted and he provided excellent suggestions. Our Primary bathroom had not been updated since the house was built in 1982 and the first picture depicts the original bathroom space. We opened up the area by eliminating the tub and existing shower and we created a walk-in shower without a shower door with a step-over entrance. The shower floor was constructed by forming a custom-made shower pan and the walls were installed using a man-made non-porous quartz surface that is easy to clean and maintain along with a glass enclosure with a stabilizer bar. In addition, 2 double inserts for shampoos, conditioners and razors were custom built out of the quartz material. Finally, since this was our age-in-place bathroom, we installed 6 designer grab bars bolted into the walls (complete with 2" x 6" backer boards) that could function as towel bars. The fur down over the shower was eliminated and new lighting was installed including recessed LED cannister lights over the shower and vanity along with an exhaust fan. The shower valve was relocated to the side of the shower for easy access using PEX piping. The door entering the toilet area was removed and the entrance was enlarged for easy access. The VCS crew was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. The pictures of the final product are included in this review and we are extremely happy with our new Primary bathroom!

I met Trey through a realtor friend. We needed repair work on a bathroom. It was a small project, the kind where it’s hard to find a professional GC willing to do it. Trey quickly put together a bid and completed the project on time and on budget. The tradesman were professional. I needed a no drama high quality execution and that’s what I got!

He was great to work with: super friendly, professional, always responded promptly to texts and calls, answered all our questions, and provided valuable information regarding realistic for our project given our budget. He’s very detail-oriented generous with his time. I’ve recommended him to others and would definitely use him for our future projects.

This company used to be a legitimate general contractor. Now, they are just completely shady. Has not paid their hourly employees and refuses to pay their subcontractors even after the customer/tenant has paid already. Even so slimy to use "covid" as an excuse not to sign certified mail.

Do not let the old reviews fool you, this company is nothing but a shell of it's old self and will try to survive at the expense of hard-working family small businesses.

UPDATE: This company has filed for bankruptcy and thus their employees will not get their pay and all subcontractors will not only NOT get their pay for labor, but they will also not get reimbursed for ANY materials they purchased for the work they completed.

In my 25 years representing tenants, I have used CRI multiple times for tenant buildout work. I appreciate the firm's itemized up front cost estimates, their diligence during construction to stay on time and within budget, and most importantly, their follow up after the work is completed to make sure that the client is satisfied.
