I had an extension done—about 1,100 sq. ft.—and the work was excellent! Colony Builders, especially Ali and his team, treated us like family throughout the entire process. They originally estimated 3 to 4 months, but impressively finished everything in just 2.5 months.

They were always on time, worked Saturdays, and didn’t let rain slow them down. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are outstanding—every guest who visits compliments our new extended home.

I used Colony Builders on a home project to to remove 3 windows in my living room and replace it with sliding doors. I would highly recommend them. I have used Colony Builders to build a covered patio a few years ago, so I knew what they were capable of.

When I requested a quote for this project, Mr. Ali (owner) came to my house to discuss my vision and get measurements. Because he has a lot of experience as a contractor/builder, he knew exactly what I wanted and was able to give me the estimated cost, time line, and start date.

Compare to other contractors, they were the most reasonably priced. But beyond the price point, they managed this project very well in terms of
(1) time to completion
(2) cleaning up before and after the project,
(3) communicating what was happening next
(4) responsing to calls and questions

One of this things that stood out the most during the project is how they managed to keep the dust from spreading to a mininum. Dust is inveitable, but I appreciate that they had a person dedicated to just cleaning the inside and outside of the living room and patio area as they go. They covered the furniture inside my house as much as they could and before they left, they removed the cover from the furniture and dusted, mopped, and cleaned around the area they worked on.

This is a sizeable project with at least 10 people working on it, but it didn't feel overwhelming. Everyone knew their role and they were in and out of my house very quickly. The entire project took three days.

We are so pleased with the work of the Colony Builders. I can't emphasize enough how much we appreciate the company, management and all the workers. They are honest, professional and work hard to please the customers. We have already referred them to several friends who have used their services and are happy as we are. Thank you Colony Builders!

Very responsive, professional and timely. They came and did our siding, replaced some problem areas and did a wonderful job painting. Not to forget the gutters that will add longevity to our roof. I’d use them for any other job we have, big or small.

Colony Builders in Conroe finished up my sunroom that they recently installed for me. They did an excellent job and followed through and came back once to make sure the screens on the windows were secure. Ask for Julio to do your job. He is an excellent workman. I live in Harper’s preserve and I will definitely recommend them to do your next remodel.

Besides the language barrier, they were very polite and nice and did what was needed to be done. If they could have communicated with me I would have given them 5 stars.

I would give 6 starts if possible. Victor and his crew did a phenomenal job installing our new roof and price was reasonable. I would highly recommend him to others who need new roof installations. Clean job and professional!

I first met Trey at VCS just under 20 years ago now, as I was a developer who rehabbed properties. I stopped to look at a project that had just been completed that caught my eye, and I was super impressed. When I drove back by, I stopped to talk with the people in the front yard and asked, "Who was your contractor?" The people were the VCS team lead by Trey the owner.
VCS became my new contractor, and things were done right. My rehabs were a success. The world has changed since then, and it is much harder to get workers to show when they say they will etc., but VCS does get the job done, and when it is done, it is great.

Trey has done a lot of work for me personally as well as many of my clients. He remodeled my kitchen and did a partial remodel on a bathroom before I sold my last house. It went so smoothly! His trades showed up when he said they would, and the work was impeccable. It made the sale of my house a breeze! Trey is currently handling my office move and finish out at my new location. Like every other project he has done for me, it is going exceedingly well! Trey presents quotes that are accurate and complete - in my experience, many other general contractors do not take the same sort of care in the bid process. I have never had a surprise. His trades have worked with him for a long time, and they are skilled, friendly and trustworthy, I have never had a concern about them being in my home or office.

I have a number of clients who have done remodels with Trey, I have seen the results and I have sold homes that he worked on. The work has been great and the inspections on those homes have reflected the high quality of his work.

We have used VCS for almost 20 years. Trey has replaced flooring, redone all three bathrooms, redid the stucco on the exterior of our home and redone our swimming pool including the concrete deck, coping, tile and plaster. We have always been more than satisfied with his work.
