Neil Fruge and Sam Neil were on top of it. I would recommend these two folks if you decide to go with HM General Contractors. Neil kept in touch and updated me with everything while my business is being built out. They were on top of it, and kept a professional attitude. They were able to get things done on time. These hard working folks makes an honest living. If I were going to open another business, I would definitely contact HM General Contractors. Ask for Neil Fruge if you want a contractor that responds quickly.

The contractor did a great job with our renovation. Their service department was responsive with all our needs. The final job looks great and upscale. Brandon was professional and always went out of his way to take care of us. Andre was also fantastic to work with.

HM built our clinic better than I ever expected. They are very professional, competitive and take care of every little details. They worked with us during construction and accommodated all changes that we came up with and the best part is they did not charge us any extra 😊. (This is where most builders rips you off). It has been more than a year now and they have always been there to resolve any minor issues that we have reported. They have been providing excellent customer service post construction. I highly recommend HM.

A huge thanks to Mike Newhouse and his team at HM General Contractors! This is now the 3rd office HM has built for us! We had 2 build out orthodontic offices finished approximately 5 and 10 years ago and now a 3rd freestanding ortho office. Mike and his team helped design all 3 (ranging from 3000sqft to over 4000sqft). The design and functionality has worked extremely well over the years. Over the years with each project we've approached Mike with different budgetary concerns, and he has been excellent with working with us at all different points in our careers. This most recent office has exceeded expectations. The quality has been stellar. My patients have complemented the office countless times. Of the very few issues we may have had post construction, Mike was quick to address the issues which is critical. Mike has become a good friend over the years as he has worked so much with us in the past, and he just does amazing, honest work. Whenever we're ready for a 4th ortho office, we'll be giving HM a call. Highly recommended!

The change is incredible! Our worn and cracking deck has been transformed into a beautiful outdoor area. HMM Deck Services made our yard a spot where we genuinely enjoy being.

Working with HM General Contractors has been a great experience! As with any general contractor, there will be some hiccups here and there, but Mike certainly took it upon himself to make sure everything is done correctly and to our satisfaction. Mike, along with Max and Elias have really gone above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Overall, I am very pleased with the outcome of our office.

Outstanding work and very thorough. Great communication with keeping the client in the loop. Quick to respond back to calls, text, and emails. Smooth flow from plans, design, and build. I visited other businesses that used other contractors and listened to the owners complain about the lack of communication between the client and contractor. Unlike some of the other design/contractors I met with, HM treated me with respect and listened to ALL of my ideas. They really listened, they really cared, and they really wanted me to be happy with the build. I knew I would not use anyone else but HM Contractors. As a first time business owner, I wanted to get it done the way I wanted it and done correctly. HM delivered. The quality in their work shows.

HM General Contractors did an amazing job renovating our orthodontic office. The process went smooth and we are so pleased with the results. When our patients that we have not seen in a long time come back to see us, they are astounded at the difference! We teamed up with HM General Contractors for the design & architecture of our build-out cold start. Mike and his team were very accommodating, and their sub-contractors do a good job.

Our superintendent, Luke, was paramount in ensuring our experience was as stress-free as it could be. He made sure to actively communicate with us and address our concerns promptly.

They delivered our project on time and overall we are pleased with the results!

Mike and his team did a fantastic job from start to finish on our building! From the initial consult to the design to the construction all went very smoothly and better than expected. Erick did a great job with design, Luke is workhorse and a magician who manages multiple tasks and accomplishes all of them on time and to standard. Hope to work with The HM team again one day. HM General Contractors was selected as the "general contractor of choice" for our project of building an Assisted Living Home from the ground up. The HM Team did a great job of coordinating several different trade disciplines that culminated in a personal care home that would welcome our loved ones as their home. I have worked with many Contractors in the past, however; the Team in HM that was in charge of our Grangerland project is excellent!
John, Superintendent was very attentive, listen to all the needs that we put in front of him and most importantly he stood on his world on all completions. He went out of his way to extended a helping hand when ever needed. End result the Office turned out even better than expected.

I knew from the moment that I first sat down with Eric Martinez and Mike Newhouse, that I was making a good choice with my dental practice start-up. My business partner and I were very impressed by their organization, knowledge, and thoroughness and felt confident to use HM Contractors for our project.

Their estimated time for finish was pretty on point, and Eric was very quick to address any concerns or answer questions that I had, which is very important with any type of business of this caliber. The office turned out beautifully. As expected with any construction of a business, there were minor concerns here and there, but the important thing was that Eric would take care of it as soon as I would bring it up. He even picked up my artwork at a gallery with his truck and helped me hang them up! (By helped, I mean he did everything. I just stood there and approved)
I was also nervous of any additional fees at the end, but we paid exactly what was originally quoted, and nothing more.

Overall, I would highly recommend HM Contractors if you want a smooth and easy process. I've already recommended them to some of my other dental friends looking to open up a practice as well. A++ to Eric and Mike!

Mike Newhouse and his staff did a great job on my Dental Office in Katy, although our project was affected by Hurricane Harvey, Mike and his team stepped it up when we needed them the most. During that difficult time period HM displayed a "can do attitude" which was greatly appreciated. Even now that we have been in our office for some time our patients still compliment us on how beautiful our office looks. In my opinion, one of the most important aspects of any business whether it's a Dental Office or a Construction Company is " does the business stand by it's work product once it's completed" ? . I am happy to say that HM has always honored their warranty work pledge. The few times we have called them on warranty work issues they have responded in a timely manner. Mike and his team are outstanding. I had a different contractor with my first office and it was a nightmare. I did not want to repeat that experience. I began my search for a contractor several years before construction of my second office began. I met several before deciding on HM contractors. Mike restored my faith on what a good contractor can do. Building is never a smooth process and when things get difficult it’s good to have a team that cares about getting it done right. You can tell that Mike takes pride in the product he delivers. One thing that I did not appreciate was the value of having all the major team members under one roof. HM has the Architect, the Interior Designer, the Financial Coordinator, and Supervisor all there throughout the process. I ended up with a beautiful office built from the ground up. With years of experience and a solid company rest assured that if you choose HM contractors your project is in good hands.

We used HM General Contractors to build out our dental practice. I highly recommend them. The quality is excellent. We actually have several friends that have used them and you can just tell a difference in the quality and design features compared to other contractors. They were very reasonably priced. Any problems that we ran into during the process got resolved. Mike is very trustworthy and just a genuinely nice person overall, we really enjoyed working with them. They were also very quick! They told us a timeline at the beginning and were spot on with the completion date. You won’t be disappointed using HM!!

HMGC has now built TWO offices for me-- my 1750sf build-out lease 10 years ago, and now my own 8000sf building on my land with all planning and ground-up work! My office, Signature Eye Center, uses 5000sf, and we have 3000sf available lease space. The 2 story architectural design with cathedral ceilings is unmatched! Just look at the photos! The planning and designing phase was so much fun!! HMGC literally managed my project from the first design ideas to the dusting of the lamps after building. It was incredible to have it all in one company. I'm so thankful they weathered all the permitting, because that would have been a nightmare without their help. My land has TxDot and Texas New Mexico Power easements, and that was tricky to work with to say the least. They were open and honest throughout the process. Despite having the rainiest winter in years, they built my project on time and in budget! I trusted Mike Newhouse 100% to give me an office to be envied, and he absolutely surpassed my expectations. Mike made sure that my project was his baby-- He loves design, and his keen eye has made my office the most beautiful around. You just don't see medical facilities like this! My superintendent Luke Judd is sharp-- He was on top of every sub making sure I got quality work, on time. He truly loves his job, and he made sure I knew he put his whole heart into my project. His drone views of the construction start to finish are incredible to see! Now that it's all completed, it's absolutely amazing to see people walk through our front door each day with their jaws immediately dropped in awe of our GORGEOUS eye center! THANK YOU HMGC! If there's ever an office #3, you've more than earned my business. In the mean time, I'll continue to refer everyone I know!
