We have so far had our two upstairs bathrooms remodeled (one being entirely created from scratch) and two vanities custom made from a picture I had found on Pinterest, an entire new shower and toilet, and new french door. The subfloors had to be replaced due to previous owners attempt at a cheap and horrible DIY coverup that resulted in covering wood rot. Thank goodness our family didn’t fall through the floors! Everything thus far is looking amazing, Robert answers the phone every time I have any questions. The 4 stars is because of the some of the sub contractors being a bit late which was sorted out. We still have a bit more to do, one more bathroom and the downstairs floors. Will update review once complete.

Robert fixed a water leak that Roto Rooter could not locate. He also sent out Jorge to fix the drywall and paint from the damages the water caused. I would highly recommend his services. Thanks again!

This has been a sad experience for us. We are having to redo much of the work HOUSTON Remodeling Contractors did for us. So far, we hired a power washing company to remove dirt and paint overspray that HRC did not get off and was paid to do. Now, we are about to pay for a company to redo a carport floor that was improperly prepared and sealed with a sealant that is not appropriate for use in wet areas because it is very slippery. The carport floor was supposed to be ground, but the original trowel marks, stains and paint splatter are still visible, so any grinding done was not adequate.

Unfortunately, the poor quality of the work that was done on what we can’t see puts us in doubt on the things we can’t see. Robert says he stands behind his work, but has not done so with us.

We had this company repair a small strip of broken concrete on our driveway. They were very prompt in coming to repair the driveway. They charged$1500 to repair the edge of a driveway. They did not block the driveway so our mail carrier proceded to drive over it and leave track marks. I called and ask if they could fix it, they did not. The edge of the driveway cracked within a month and it looks terrible. The owner came to look at the cracked driveway, and whatever he said to my husband, it upset him and he said we would not be dealing with this company again. This is my second review. The first time I posted this review the owner posted that my review was fake. This review is not fake and it is not dishonest. It is a real review of my real experience. I do not expect that we would use this company for larger jobs.

Make sure everything is in contract. Even if it is they won't honor it. Make sure you do your research before you hire him. We designed our entire kitchen around a laundry closet and after 95% of work is finished he couldn't close off new laundry area. Then he goes and tells me it's my fault for buying washer and dryer that is to big even tho he never told us what size to buy. Sorry for grammar. The cabinets he had made are awesome but other than that sub par work.

After they have completed remodeling, I did not believe the results would be so amazing. I got high quality work at surprisingly low cost. Highly recommended for construction, remodeling and designing.

Beware of good reviews here as Robert uses a contract clause to prevent people from leaving bad ones. From his contract-Termination. Either party can terminate this contract at will. If either party terminates this contract at will, the terms and conditions of this Agreement are confidential between the parties and shall not be disclosed to anyone else including The Better Business Bureau, Angies List, Yelp, Google Review and / or any other Social Media Platform. I used the positive reviews to select this contractor but this contract clause should be a red flag for anyone thinking of doing the same.
Horrible experience. Shoddy and messy work (except the tile guy) Robert takes responsibility for nothing. Plumber needed a Youtube video to install a Kohler valve. Painter needed 10 days to paint a bedroom and a couple of walls. Installer mounted a towel warmer so high it looked like a fire escape ladder. Everything required rework which is why the 4 week contract took 8 weeks. Original scope of work was copied into a very onerous contract template except 2 items which were supposedly “accidentally” left out during the copy and paste. Of course Robert tried to charge me saying we never discussed the work. 500 gallons of water were lost from a spigot that was left on all night where the painters and tile guys were cleaning there materials off. All of the shrubs covered in white paint, etc(did I forget to say they were incredibly messy) on the side of my house that Robert said wasn’t his guys? Just don’t do it. This company is a stereotype for the bad contractor. NOT A FAKE REVIEW!

Houston Remodeling Contractors has a great and well-experienced team. They made the project plan easily to understand. Also, they adjusted the designs according to my specifications. And the cost is reasonable as I saw the result. I highly recommend you HRC!

Installing a new bathtub is a nuisance but that only if you don’t know the services Houston Remodelling servicers provide. They make the process as simple and quick as bathing in the tub itself and don’t really charge anything exaggerated as well. The professional team works in the most ethical manner, does your job without making any kind of fuss about it and most importantly, is always on time. I highly recommend them.

The crew at Houstone are the real deal. This is the best contractor experience I've ever had. they worked with me on a major bathroom remodel (tear everything out including the walls, and start over). They were patient and creative with the quote, suggesting some nice touches that I hadn't thought of. They worked with integrity and around my schedule - even leaving the toilet working every night so that we didn't have to find alternate bathroom facilities.
