I have used this company twice now. They are very professional and prompt. The work is explained very clearly and completed in a timely manner. I would use them again for sure.
-
Have used their services for past 5 years. We have ad them install lights, light timer, and ceiling fans. They have always done great electrical work in our home.
-
Great service, knowledgable professionals, replace my breaker boxes, installed 220 for my shop, installed surge protectors for my house. All done quickly and very well.

After a mix-up of what work was to be done, John, the President of On-Time, personally reached out to me and ensured that I was taken care of. I was very impressed with the customer service that the company as a whole put forth. It's also always a plus that the President is hands-on in his company and truly cares about his customers.

Will do more damage than repair. Avoid at all costs.
Do not make the mistake of working with this company. Horrible service and workmanship.
Do not disregard. Use them if you want to be cheated. -
Called in to get an estimate for outlet issues in our home and instead of going straight to costs, the gentleman I spoke to explained the root cause and helped me fix the issue on my own. I had called multiple other places to get an idea of costs prior to calling on time electric and nobody else offered that kind of customer service. Will be calling them back for future electric issues.

I see that I’m not the only one who experienced poor communication and scheduling no shows with OTE. On Wednesday, I spoke with John, the owner, and he said someone would get back to me. No one did and on Thursday I reached out and he confirmed an appointment for 11am the next day, Friday. No one showed up Friday. No messages or calls from OTE. Website shows they are open Saturday morning so I tried calling the office. Ghosted. Unprofessional. Unreliable. Poor communication. Don’t waste your time.

On Time Electric did a great job for me! After a little hiccup with scheduling, we got an appointment set up and the service was completed today. Carlos was very friendly and finished the job quickly!

I called and set an appointment for someone to come out and look at the breaker box in my salon. Carlos was my tech and he was very helpful and considerate, I really love the service that Carlos provided and although he had to come back the next day to correct someone else's problem, he was on time and professional. I will use On Time Electric in the future.

They installed a new breaker box. They were on time professional and did a great job. I had a few questions and called on time and spoke immediately with the owner. How often does that happen ! He not only answered all my “amateur “ questions but did it in a very caring manner. I am old school. And to me there is nothing that tops the personal touch !!

Sal was great! Honest, upfront, and direct. Knew exactly what to do in my house (I have extremely complicated electrical). He solved the problem fast, even went to get bulbs to replace the ones on my Chandelier! Excellent electrician for the Montrose Area as we have older homes. Good servicemen are hard to fine but I highly recommend Sal 10/10. Thank you again! Will be calling in the future as well!

New to the Richmond, Tx area and needed some immediate electrical work in home. They responded within 24 hours. The workmen listened carefully to my needs and went to work. Throughout the nearly 10 hours of work they coordinated as needed, made excellent suggestions about placement of can lights. Replacement of ceiling was masterfully completed. Thanks OTE for a great job.

Summary: Great service, great work. And then they help you out some more.
Details: They installed a 240V connection to our stacked washer/ gas dryer, which needs to be replaced. A person picked up the phone right away, offering service the same day. The electrician came, inspected, and gave me a price. Was a little higher than expected, but it's also more work than I expected. After they finished the job, it turned out that it's impossible to remove the old washer/dryer, the space is too tight (the door frames might have been installed afterwards). Since the delivery guys for the new unit would not have many tools and would not be able to remove the old unit, they sawed the old dryer apart and took it out piece by piece! Talking about going beyond duty.... -
Attention to Details, On time, professional this is the second time I have used this company and have been so impressed with their professionalism, and respect for my home. Electrician wore 'booties' over his work boots, and gave me many options (different price ranges) for jobs I need for our home---many security related. And....they did not charge me for the visit. Just emailed me quotes. Ver impressive. Thanks to the electrician, Carlos.

OnTime electric was great! I had another electric company come out and quote me $3,000 to replace my attic fan. I found this company and called them. They came out the same day, fixed the attic fan (in the extreme Texas heat) and saved me over $2,000! Thank you for your prompt customer service!

On Time Electric, as their name implies, arrived on time to assist me in various ways. Two polite qualified electricians arrived to LIGHT UP MY DAY. Which was just what I needed. They checked out wiring and installed ceiling fans. I also asked them to install several can lights. They completed the job and cleaned up after their work. I have programmed their number in my phone and will call again if needed. Five stars is definitely appropriate for this business. MKG. A satisfied customer

Edit: set up an appt, had a no call no show. Called back and left a message. Never heard back. They do good work but scheduling is terrible
Had a bit of miscommunication on scheduling, but the rest of the service more than made up for it. Sal showed up early, quickly knew how to resolve the issue I had, gave me options, drove to get the part needed, and installed it within a few minutes. The biggest thing I look for is trust and On Time has it. -
Salat did an excellent job installing a surge protector on my electrical panel. After a surge tripped too many breakers one night we deemed it well worth the money to ensure I don’t loose appliances, etc. Salat was courteous, thorough and efficient. He replaced a ceiling fan and fixed a smoke alarm with a loose wire as well as change the battery in one that was unreachable for me. He left the areas clean. I have used On- Time before and will use them again as well as recommended them to anyone who needs dependable service.

I had a whole house surge protector installed recently in Houston. They scheduled the work on a Saturday, which was the only day I could get it done. Sal called 10 minutes before the appointment and came in exactly on time (no pun intended). Sal was very courteous and got the job done fast. Left me a card to call him directly with any issues. This is the second job I have them do and would hire them again.

On Time replaced the mast from the top of the meter to penetrate the roof so it would meet code. After the work was done the power would not reconnect the power since some work done by a previous owner. On Time made the necessary repairs the next day so power could be restored. They were punctual in all the appointments, explained the issues, and resolved the problem without issue.
They are honest and I recommend them to any one. -
BEWARE. I hate to give a negative review for a small business, but Google is where I found On Time Electric & hired them because of great reviews. Here is my experience...they were called in to restore power to one room in my home. My wife was home with a broken leg & let the electrician Greg inside. He began to troubleshoot the issue...however, he apparently needed to call backup to figure out the issue. After fiddling around in the attic for a bit, they realized that a wire had been stapled through in a couple places. They "pulled the wire & popped two staples out" which seemed to fix the problem. That first trip they left my house without cleaning up their mess, left my ceiling fan on full blast & for some reason left my garage door wide open? I received an invoice for $550, without any itemized explanation as to what they fixed other than they pulled on a wire & popped some staples. That evening I realized that switching on the bedroom light would cause the lighting in the dining room to go dim ++ the switch was super hot. The next morning I called the main number & spoke with John about my experience. He provided me with an explanation of their standard protocol for not turning off anything before leaving putting the blame on me for leaving the switches in the on position for the ceiling fan (which I absolutely did not, but fine) John also explained why the cost was so high (apparently they charge $285 just to knock on your door & mentioned that if they were to have to replace wiring it would approach $800....for one single feeder pull. One) He didn't really address why the project site was left a mess & switched the subject over to their on-demand invoicing - "We usually we take payment after the job is done, but your wife had a broken leg & said you'd handle it" Sooooo after a lot of excuses, he finally agreed to send the electrician back to complete the job. Greg returned first thing the next day & firmed up some wiring connections which seemed to fix the issue. I am still not entirely confident in their work. They also left me another new mess to clean up (see photo) & didn't change the invoice to be more reasonable. So if you need a company to jiggle a few wires & make a big mess in your home for a ton of money, On Time Electric should be your first choice. BEWARE
