I’m really happy with the service Jose provided! He installed an inlet box and interlock for our portable generator, and the whole process was smooth and hassle-free. One thing that really stood out was that he’s a licensed (and insured) electrician, unlike some others who claim to be but aren’t (I checked on TDLR.gov). It’s great knowing we had someone legit doing the work.

Another big plus - he didn’t ask for any down payment for materials or labor. He only accepted payment after everything was done, which was super reassuring. His rates were fair too!

On top of that, Jose took the time to walk us through everything we need to know in case we ever have to use the generator—what to switch off, which breakers will work (or won’t) based on the generator we have. That and his extra effort to rearrange our breaker switches really meant a lot.

If you need an honest, skilled, and reliable electrician, I highly recommend Jose/Ferdi Electric LLC!

He came out quickly, installed many outdoor fixtures , including the sconces and porch light pictured here. He was so respectful of our home and made sure to pay attention to all the little details (even bought 2 different colors of sealant for the out door fixtures to ensure I could choose which one matched the stone more). Just as important, he is a licensed, Master Electrician.

I booked an appointment for someone to come out and take a look at my breaker. He came out and we made a plan to switch out one of the breakers that was faulty. He couldn’t do it same day so we scheduled an appointment for him to come out another day to perform the work. That day he came but didn’t have the correct breaker. So we rescheduled for the following day. The next day came and had a no call no show. I found someone else to do the work and just didn’t bother to follow up. That didn’t stop them from sending me an invoice for work that wasn’t performed. I’m still getting reminders to pay it til this day (this was nearly a month ago). Aside from the no call no show, I never knew the name of the guy that came. I would get texts that would say a name but he told me something different. Anyway, I don’t recommend if you need a dependable electrician.

Kevin, Reuben, Jose and team did a great job. Their work passed city inspection right away with no changes needed. Their pricing is very fair and they are responsive and easy to work with. Will use them again for any future electric needs. Thanks y'all! Highly recommend.

Southern electrical services was not at this location

I was very pleased with the timely manner in which they got an electrician to my house! They were very kind and helpful and worked quickly and efficiently. I would definitely use Southern Electrical Services again, and would recommend them to others as well!
