Terrible company with shitty employees they filled my trash bin with a box of 12 packs and boxes from them sitting around drinking and eating all day then dumped out my trash in in my driveway and left all there trash scattered around for me to pick up

Centerpoint contracted STE to cut trees from around the power lines. They cut trees in our yard and I was very impressed! They were very professional and polite, they were respectful of our property and they had wonderful teamwork. I've had trees cut several times, and was very impressed with this company! You can tell they really know what they are doing and they care about what they are doing. That's hard to find!

Most of my trees in my back yard are big and full and give a lot of shade but I knew from the location of the power wires they were going to have to cut away a lot of my trees. but I understand it had to be done they were very polite and professional and did a great job. A big thank you to Sequoias for their great employees and great customer service. Appreciate your people.

They tried to drive me and my baby and one other car off the road in sherman texas. They should not have a license. They refused to merge until last second ignoring signs. Then decided to drive 80 mph in 60 construcion zone. US DOT 3200792 TXDMV 009579967c.

Sure they throw the branches that they've cut with a chainsaw into the chipper but then they live a big mess in the street and try to blow it away from their truck with a leaf blower to make it look like they've cleaned up, leaving the mess for residents. They say that they are not provided with push brooms. It would take them 3 to 4 minutes to sweep it up like they should like what's proper and right.

Very odd group of people. They were working on an alley behind where I live and decided to set up a picnic on my property in my front lawn. Lawn chairs and all. Very disrespectful to a persons private property and when I asked them why they were there they didn’t think it odd that they were traipsing through my yard. I called the company to ask they please not leave trash behind and they didn’t apologetic about it. Very strange.

Horrible. Trimming for Centerpoint, they told me 10 ft each side of the lines, they took 20+ ft, totally massacred one tree, broke branches on others. When I suggested they just take down one tree they topped and took an entire side off, they declined. I back up to flood control easement and they planned on just dumping all the branches behind the fence, told them absolutely not. Trampled my bushes and plants. And this was with me standing outside watching. I can only imagine what they would have done if I hadn't been there. Centerpoint needs to do better than this.

I don’t know who was employing you people to come down my street and trim up every yard, but it surely was not relayed to us. I woke up yesterday morning to my trees being trimmed for the “safety of powerlines”, yet nobody that lives in this house allowed you into the backyard. you claimed to have “knocked once” but you didn’t ring doorbells, you didn’t attempt to get any sort of permission. Then you proceeded to absolutely destroy my backyard. My trees are abysmal looking, my wildlife is scattered and the best part is y’all left trash! all over the place! what’s done is done and there’s nothing I can do to get my beautiful canopy back, but I at least want answers. I’m assuming this was city sanctioned work, but without notice it may as well have been trespassing. thanks for ruining the only sanctuary I had!

I thought I was on a prank show. They managed to do about an hour and a half actual work throughout a whole day. Their day consisted of increments of 20 minutes of actual work followed with and hour and a half of wandering around, sitting on lawn furniture, neighbors yards, and in their truck. There was no rhyme or reason with the tree cutting...some were scalped bald, while a tree next to it would be not touched and still laying on lines. It appeared as if they were trying to reach a volume amount with whatever they could reach at that moment. The best way I could describe it would be...8 grown men getting paid to circle jerk all day and then scalping a tree here and there. They sat in their truck the last 2 hours of the day...then when it was time to go home....picked up/ shredded trees for 3 minutes and then were done for the day.

Chopped our Crape Myrtle without our knowledge because of a work order from oncore to clear limbs around a power line. Admitted to not giving proper communication. Admitted to cutting lower than they needed to. Two managers showed up to the site, resolved nothing. Talked in circles. Admitted tree should have been cut differently then five minutes later said it was cut fine. Admitted they don’t make any attempt to to make the tree they’re trimming look decent. Very unprofessional. I don’t understand how they get away with this.

Joke of a crew. Came to my house at six forty five a m back their truck up in my yard and cut branches for maybe twenty minutes. They sat around on the ground on their phones for thirty minutes then, They left their truck in my yard with debris, and we're nowhere to be found for a couple of hours. Not sure where they went or why they felt like they could park their truck on my property while attending to the rest of the neighborhood. I do not recommend this company.

I was delivering a new landscaping truck from Virginia. The employees were very accommodating and had me in and out in 15 minutes.

They are up on Glen loch trimming trees for the power lines. Between just murdering some trees, leaving the lines resting on top of some of the trees the just “trimmed “, leaving the trimmed branches on the ground, and a terrible job controlling the traffic buy not giving any warming in advance that there is work ahead. Then you have the guy in the white pickup that I assume is the lead is a piece of work.

In the past week, two trucks from the company have nearly ran me off the road on or near 249. I called the company to let them know. The receptionist said she would tell the appropriate division; she didn't ask for any identifying information: time, date, or truck information, so I felt like nothing will actually be taken seriously or be done about the problem. Hopefully with a review and a report to TXDOT and TXDMV, something will get done. Not only are the trucks driving irresponsibly, after the fact, each driver drove so slow that I had to stop traffic to document their information. When they had to drive past me because I stopped my car, the then sped off as fast as they could. The second truck today was hauling heavy equipment (possibly a chopper or shredder) while driving in this manner. If this is the care that is taken while driving down the road, there's no way I would trust the company with dangerous equipment near my house.

These guys were contracted by Oncor to trim trees around power lines in our area. They talked to us ahead of time to let us know when they would be there working. Guys who came out were very professional and did a great job. Cleaned up everything after trimming.

Very unprofessional. Came to my neighborhood on 12/29/25 and knocked multiple times on my door and around my house so we could move my truck to let their truck in my backyard. When working they worked for a bit and after they were just sitting down on their phones, listening to music and singing. While working they cut my WiFi cable and gas not been taken care of. I have called multiple times and no answer only voicemails.

This was a letter to the company
Do not use this company
I just want to report an incident about your so-called professional crew and caring about customer service according to your motto on your trucks. Your crew was in my back alley in Dallas this afternoon and while trimming the neighbors tree s in the alley, they cut our power lines.
I know accidents happen, however your amateur crew was very careless and nonprofessional. I simply don’t understand how this could happen as your company is contracted to clear out branches that are in the lines. I hope they were trained to watch out for powerlines. Obviously, they’re training did not work or was not provided
Also, when I went up and talked to the person investigating the incident, he told me how do I know it was us that cut the power lines, I simply explained that your company was the only one in the alley trimming trees and then I said I have a video and that changed his tune. He just shrugged me off.
I also called your office and of course it went to voicemail and then the voicemail was full. What a -
Sequoia notified us that they would be trimming our trees around the electric lines. We live on 6 acres so I instructed them on how to get onto our property. A few weeks later we found that their truck had run over and collapsed our septic tank on the side of our house outside the fenced area. The tire tracks were visible from beneath the electric lines through the pasture, over our tank and out the side gate. Not the entrance that they came through. Long story short. They refused to cover the $2500 repair because supposedly other line trucks had been working in the area. We’ve lived in our home for 30 years and before companies come onto our property , they always ask or at least leave a door hanger. No one but Sequoia has been on our land. They have made millions cutting trees for Oncor but can’t pay $2500 for a septic that they damaged

ZERO STARS IF I COULD I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the unprofessional behavior of this company and its staff.Without any prior notice, warning, phone call, or written communication, a crew came to my residence and popped the lock on my gate to enter my backyard without authorization. This is trespassing. No note was left on my door, and no attempt was made to contact me beforehand. After I activated my alarm to alert them to stay away from my yard, they continued attempting to access my property. I immediately called their office to escalate the situation. The manager never got on the phone. Instead, I was forced to speak with a receptionist, and the matter was not handled with the urgency or professionalism it deserved.A couple of hours later, their project manager showed up at my home and admitted wrongdoing and apologized for the actions of his crew. Our home is completely surrounded by security cameras. Everything was recorded. It is very concerning and frankly ludicrous for anyone from their staff to attempt to deny that they popped the lock or try to change the story when we have clear proof of what occurred.
I am still waiting to hear from the actual company manager or someone in executive leadership not just a field project manager. That level of disregard speaks volumes about this company’s professionalism and accountability. I am shocked that the City of Houston continues to contract with this company. Residents deserve contractors who respect private property and know how to communicate properly before entering someone’s yard. This entire experience has been extremely disappointing. Crazy thing about all this we have NO TREES IN OUR BACK YARD. No homeowner should have to deal with a company entering their property without authorization and then failing to properly address the situation afterward. I hope this review reaches the appropriate authorities so they can seriously evaluate how this company operates and who they are sending into our neighborhoods. -
This company is removing 100+ year old trees just because they're easier than trimming them. This is for a power line that isn't even in place. When confronted by the property owners, they give the usual "We're just following orders" line. Further more they leave behind the stumps then deny any responsibility for removing them.
