I have been using Blue Science to maintain my pool for about 6 weeks. I am very happy with their service and my service technician Tyler Roberts. My pool looks great and my dogs like him too. I recommend both Blue Science and Tyler.

after getting several estimates, i decided to use Blue Science Pools for my pool remodel. from the first visit, preston was very professional and friendly. my pool was older and had a water leak, and preston gave me a fair estimate and was upfront that the cost could change a bit depending on where the leak was coming from. i shared my ideas for how i wanted the pool to look, and preston not only listened but also suggested a few upgrades i hadn’t thought of, which really improved the project. the way the job was handled was a big plus for me. preston kept in touch with updates every day, which helped me feel comfortable during the whole process. i’m very happy i chose this company for my pool remodel. everything was finished on time, and the workers were all polite and made sure to leave my yard tidy every day. i will definitely call them again if i need more pool work in the future.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with Blue Science Pools has been so frustrating that I feel obligated to warn others. In my opinion, this company has serious issues with transparency, communication, and billing practices.
To start, we were being charged nearly $300 per month for pool service on our 30,000-gallon pool. For that price, you would expect consistent and thorough service. Instead, we repeatedly found that the work we were paying for simply wasn’t being done. Fortunately, we have exterior cameras—and they showed their technicians skipping services we were billed for, including vacuuming. After sending Blue Science the video proof (which I still have), they finally acknowledged the mistake.

It only got worse from there.

Even after cancelling our service in writing before the next billing cycle, Blue Science continued to charge our credit card—despite not showing up or performing any work. When I saw the unexpected charge, I called immediately and recorded my conversation with them. They admitted the error and told me we would receive a refund.

That refund never came.

I have now had four separate conversations with their staff, including Wanda and Mike. Each time, they admit fault. Each time, they promise a refund. And each time, nothing happens. Thankfully, I have recordings of every conversation, so resolving this with my credit card company shouldn’t be an issue. But it should NEVER come to this.

Based on my experience, Blue Science Pools is not a company I can recommend or trust. If you value your pool, your money, and reliable communication, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Before signing up with any company, I also advise checking customer feedback on places like the Better Business Bureau, social media, and review sites such as YELP—had I done that sooner, I might have avoided this entire ordeal.

My honest recommendation: stay far away from Blue Science Pools.

As a new homeowner with a pool, I wasn’t sure who to trust for my first pool cleaning and repair service. I reached out to another company at first, but they told me it would be about three weeks before anyone could come out. With the Texas heat, I knew my pool couldn’t wait that long or it would have turned green. I decided to contact Blue Science Pools and was pleasantly surprised when Preston arrived the very next day. Preston quickly inspected my pool system, checked all the equipment, and found that the pool pump motor needed to be replaced. He had the right motor on his truck and got it installed right away. After finishing up, Preston took the time to explain how my pool system works, which was really helpful since everything was new to me. I’m extremely happy with how fast and professional the service was. I’m glad I made the call and I’ll definitely stick with them for all my future pool cleaning and maintenance needs.

After letting my pool go for a while, it ended up with a lot of green and brown buildup in the corners and between the tiles. I reached out to schedule service, and they came out the very next day. When I got back from my work trip, I was amazed to see my pool looking sparkling clean—it was hard to believe it was the same pool! I quickly set up a weekly pool cleaning plan with them. Preston was very responsive to all my calls and texts, which I really appreciate. It’s not easy to find service like this around here. Highly recommend if you want your pool looking great all summer long.

blue science pools is great. highly recommend! we got a lot of help from them in store with water testing, pool chemicals, and pool pump advice—they even took care of installing our new pump. they always take the time to explain everything, and we never feel pushed to buy things we don’t need. most of their recommendations are actually pretty affordable too! lately, they’ve also been keeping our pool clean and sparkling with regular service. bryson has been awesome—the pool looks better than ever. he’s always respectful, quick, and keeps us updated on what’s happening. prices are fair, especially compared to other places we checked out in houston.

We were especially impressed with how clean and fresh our pool area looked after they finished, including the beautiful brushed walkway and the colored stamped concrete around our pool. The entire process was straightforward and much easier than we expected. Months after the initial cleaning and setup, we had a small issue with our pool pump. I reached out to Preston over the weekend, and within two days, they had the replacement part ready and installed. The attention and care they provided before, during, and after their service really stood out. We are so grateful to Preston, Bryson, and the whole staff for making our pool look amazing and giving our family a great place to relax during the hot Texas days.

It is not often you fins such excellent and personal customer service. Eileen and the entire team at Church Pool Services treat you like family, never over sell you and do their best to always be there. I simply cannot recommen them MORE! Truly the best in town and I say this after 25 years of owning a pool and being their customer for the past 3 years. I wish I had found them earlier.

The team at Church's is so reliable, helpful, easy to work with, and thorough. I have used them for reliable weekly cleaning service for many years and trust them with all of my repairs, regular maintenance, and upgrades. I appreciate Eileen's joyful attitude and how clear and communicative the team is about their work for me.
