Responsive, reasonably priced and fantastic service. My oak trees have never been healthier or looked better and they always do great work. Super nice people and true professionals. Highly recommend.

Our crew from Houston Tree Surgeons definitely understand proper pruning. Our trees were trimmed at proper y's and balanced after a horrible pruning job by a worker who left a card on our door. The trees looked so horrible and now look like we can regain some natural form in time. Beware of who you hire as not all pruners are arborists and understand where to cut!!!

The customer service was good. The arborist were good. The tree removal was not good. They damaged my property, but accepted responsibility. The tree stump removal was worse than the tree removal. Removal staff seemed very unexperienced! I would not use them again!

Highly recommend Houston Tree Surgeons. Dustin diagnosed my issues, explained the problems and how to fix. Showed up on time and felt I was charged a fair price. Paying made easy on line as well. Will use them again!

Dustin saved our beautiful tree... I'm so happy to be able to write those words. See, almost a year ago we noticed a critter had made home right at the base of our tree, right INSIDE IT!!! But that's not all. We realized the base of the tree was now HOLLOW. Hollow and mushy in some areas. Mushy!!! Mind you, this a beautiful Chinese Tallow that is about 50ft high, is angled and stands less than 20ft from my 3-story home. I'm a tree lover as is, but this tree was a factor in buying our home: it gave us good privacy from neighbors as well as made the view from our living room and bedroom simply gorgeous. I love watching the seasons come ago looking at it and was beyond broken-hearted thinking we would likely need to cut it down. Dustin explained what he was observing (he did not sugar coat things) and put together a plan and explained the options we would have as milestones in that plan were reached (or not). He guided us through each step and and was incredibly patient (I asked a ridiculous amount of questions, sometimes more than once I bet, because I was so emotional about the situation - not to mention concerned for our home!). He has applied 3 treatments now and the root is healing beautifully. Our tree is looking strong and happy. Look no further - Houston Tree Surgeons is the best tree company out there. I'm forever grateful!

I maintain a few rentals in Houston, and Dustin does a wonderful job keeping up our trees. As a contractor, finding someone who you can trust to do the right thing, and be fair is extremely difficult. Dustin always maintains contact when needed and is dedicated to his trade, I have happy and healthy trees, that without his service, and exellent staff, would have died otherwise.

The crew trimmed two front oak trees that were truly overgrown. We needed more sun to shine through on the grass underneath & they did an OUTSTANDING job! The trees look amazing…like they could be on the cover of a magazine because the work was just that detailed!!! Don’t let the word “surgeon” in the name have you thinking they may be too costly, because they are VERY affordable & worth every penny:-)

Hired HTS to clean up two oaks and one crepe myrtle in our backyard that were overhanging our pool. THey took our wishes into account and got them all trimmed back and cleaned up. They did a great job with debris removal from our yard, our neighbors yard, and our pool, and cleaned up quickly and efficiently. Will absolutely hire again when needed.

Our tree was very sick, so Houston Tree Surgeons came out and efficiently diagnosed the problem. They also provided a treatment plan. We have now concluded the four treatments & our tree is healthier than ever. We are so happy that the tree we thought we had to cut down is now thriving. We can not thank you enough. Dustin, a certified arborist, was very informative. I have a water oak with some problems and he was able to explain what was happening to it then determine the best course of action to save it. Subsequent to the FREE estimate he gave me on the spot, I hired him to trim all 4 of my oak trees. His team was on time, very efficient and the price was the best around. Clean up was efficient. I have already recommended him to neighbors and will use again!

I've used Houston Tree Services twice now, to remove and trim back trees. Dustin and his crew are very professional, respond quickly to follow up questions, and, though currently adhering to social distancing guidelines (which is a good thing), there has not been any miscommunication. They did everything they said they would and I'm pleased with their service.

We recently moved to an older neighborhood with large, mature trees. We got a bid from some neighborhood "tree guys". Then we called Houston Tree Surgeons, and boy am I glad we did.

Dustin (who is an actual Arborist, not a "tree guy") came and looked at what we wanted done. He provided a detailed, thorough assessment of what was going on with our trees and what needed to be done, not all of which was up in the trees (digging around a base that had been over-mulched for example). He gave us an itemized bid. The workers showed up on time, did an outstanding job, and cleaned up everything before they left. They were professional every step of the way. And somewhat surprisingly, they did it for LESS than what the "tree guys" bid.

I would absolutely recommend Houston Tree Surgeons to anyone who wants an informed assessment of what is going on with their trees, wants an itemized bid so they can choose what to do now or later, and wants pros to do the work, all at a reasonable price. I will definitely be calling them again when I need some more tree maintenance. They were an outstanding group of people to work with.

The service was great. From the appt made and being able to track their arrival, to the quote provided, it was very professional and cordial. They even gave advice on the trees. The actual process of trimming the trees was done exceptionally well. The team was professional and courteous. Their work on the front and back trees was great. This is a GREAT company! From the initial phone call to schedule a quote to the completion of the very large job, we were met with smart, hard-working, and very kind people! Our yard was left in better shape than it was found it after their thorough clean up job! And our trees look amazing!

They have removed several trees over the years, and fixed some things to let my trees become healthier, and trimmed the large oak so it wouldn't scrape my roof.
This time around I called them about a large dead tree, and got an estimate the next day, and the tree removed the day after I agreed to have it done. Oh, and their estimate was about half the price I expected it to be. To make things more complicated, the tree was sitting tightly between my fence and my garage. I have no idea how they managed to remove it without any damage to anything, but they did!
To make all of this even more perfect, all communication can be done via email and you don't have to be home for any of this. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs anything done with their trees
