Really pleased with Houston Tree Surgeons. The arborist (I like that they called him Doctor, maybe he is) that came to give the quote was friendly and knowledgeable, even advised against some ideas I had that would have cost me more. The crew that came did a great job and cleaned up amazingly well. They left my backyard cleaner than it was before they got there. If that wasn’t enough to convince you, they were really quick to get me on the schedule so didn’t have to wait AND you can pay with a credit card. All in, would recommend them and beyond satisfied with their service. If I could give them 6 stars out of 5 stars I would.

Edit: I heard back from Tree Surgeons, and confirmed that Dr Paul is indeed a Doctor in Wildlife, Aquatic, and Wildlands Science and Management. He knows his stuff.

These folks are wonderful. Interactions with Barbara and Dr. Pablo were friendly and professional. It's the 2nd time I have used them for tree trimming. I called them after Beryl to take care of some unruly branches near the power line and general pruning. They're reasonably priced, communicative, and left the tree looking great. I'm happy to be able to preserve the tree while also being safe during storms.

I definitely recommend this company. Super easy to get quote, professional, and affordable. Trim/pruning service was so detail oriented and they worked so hard!! Invoice and payment system is also so easy. I would ask another job.

After Hurricane Beryl, we contacted Houston Tree Surgeons to come and trim our backyard trees to get the branches away from the house and away from the power lines that are at the back of our property. Their estimate was reasonable, and scheduling the trimming was efficient. The crew came out this morning, trimmed the trees back carefully and beautifully, and left our backyard in pristine condition.

We will definitely call HTS again for our tree servicing!!!

We’ve been utilizing Houston Tree Surgeons’ services for the last 6 years for tree trimmings and removals. Unfortunately, after the last storm, we decided to go ahead and remove all of our 8 mature pines (75’-100’ tall each) and a fallen one. Not only were they reasonably priced compared to the other quotes we received, they were fast, efficient and extremely responsive. We did had a minor mishap, but they completely took care of what was needed and we’re truly thankful for their services. We now have peace of mind when we sleep at night knowing we don’t have massive trees directly looming over our property anymore. When/if we ever move, we know who to call if we need reliable arborists.

Best experience ever using a tree service company. A very knowledgeable arborist came out and gave a great assessment and reasonable quote. The crew was prompt, hard working and efficient. Also, something you won't hear about work crews - compassionate. In a tree that was being removed the man working the upper portion of the tree found a bird nest with the bird sitting some eggs. He carefully removed the nest, bird, eggs and all and handed it gently to his helper to be carefully placed in a nearby tree. They cleaned up everything before leaving. I highly recommend Houston Tree Surgeons!

It’s no longer the standard that you find a contractor who is technically sound, and cares about the customer.
The crew was very technically sound, took great care for their own safety and was careful and respectful of my property. There was no run around from this company to forward insurance certificate either. The determining factor of an A++ rating was the care taken to prevent any possible damage to my prized collector vehicle during stomp grinding. These are all the signs of a well-managed organization that is efficient, competent and caring. A+++

services and was given by a certified arborist
with a full detailed written quote (unlike most
other services). Their crew was fast and very
professional and cleared up all the mess
afterwards, including skimming the pool.

I contacted Houston Tree Surgeons (HTS) in mid-July 2021 to have them look at a dead pine tree in my yard to make sure it wasn’t a disease that could spread to my other pine trees. An ISA certified arborist not only came and inspected my pine trees, but he also answered questions about other plants that I have in my yard. He gave me the possible causes for why my pine tree died and provided information on the proper care and pruning for all of my various trees. He also offered a treatment plan to help boost my remaining pine trees and left me with a detailed list of everything including itemized prices if I wanted to tailor the work to be done. HTS’s office administrator worked with me to schedule a date to have the pine tree removed and its stump ground down, plus have my crepe myrtles pruned. The crew arrived the first week of August and were very careful in removing the pine tree as it sat close to my house. They were very thorough in cleaning up all of the debris when they were finished. Everyone I dealt with from HTS was very polite, professional, efficient, timely, and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire them again.

Impressive work from start to finish. I have a large tree in my front yard with limbs overhanging the roof, so I needed a reputable tree service to trim them.

After my initial contact, Dr. Pablo arrived the very next day, right on time, to provide a quote. He was courteous and highly professional. The quote he sent was very detailed and included more than 10 photos clearly showing exactly which limbs would be trimmed. I had several questions about insurance coverage and exchanged a few emails with the office. The office staff was very patient and answered all my questions thoroughly.

The quote was not the cheapest, but it was the one that made me feel the most comfortable. I decided to hire them and scheduled the service. The crew arrived exactly on time, were again very courteous, and completed the job in about 3.5 hours. They cleaned up everything before leaving.

The entire process was handled very professionally. I was especially impressed by their customer-oriented approach, honesty, and quality of work. I would highly recommend them to my neighbors.

LawnStarter does good job at maintaining my lawn through regular lawn mowing services and on-demand bush trimming. I also requested them to do a clean up of my garden for next month.
