chris and trovell were amazing today! helped me move my 1 bedroom apt to storage with absolutely no problems!

Chris and Julius were the best! They were hardworking, courteous, and respectful of both ourselves and our property. We had little hope that they could fit everything into the truck but they did so expertly. And everything arrived at our destination in good shape. We strongly recommend Chris, Julius, and Square Cow movers. 5 stars!!!

Chris and Daniel were great! Move from storage to my home was very efficient. Both guys were polite and friendly. I couldn’t ask for better service.

They were very professional, courteous, and positive to work with. They docked off some of the cost when our fridge was too big to fit through the door and required removing the door, which was helpful.

Chris, Daniel, and Kaleb were fantastic. A job that took us several hours took them so little time. Great work and professional attitude. I will definitely be calling these movers again.

Excellent move. Took a little longer than expected because the guys were not informed properly about my stuff but they handled it like champs. Chris, Daniel, and Kaleb are amazing. They got all my stuff in the truck despite not having the full inventory given to them. I’d use them again!

Oh my goodness!! Chris & Daniel finished their job here at my home 40 minutes ago and I am still smiling!!! Those two young men did an extraordinary job today!!! They provided a call before coming, prompt getting out their truck, greeted me with a smile and a handshake, listened to what I needed and where I needed, wrapped a couple of pieces, moved my items with no scratches, damages, or reservations!! I had such a great experience with Square Com Movers! Erin King and James Moore were absolutely fantastic to work with. They showed up right on time, were extremely professional, and handled everything with care. They worked efficiently while still being careful with my belongings, and they made the whole moving process so much less stressful. Both Erin and James were kind, respectful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. I really appreciate their hard work and positive attitude! I couldn’t have asked for a smoother move. Highly recommend Square Com Movers, especially Erin and James!

Phenomenal service from both those I worked with on the phone, and of course the movers! I had Stephen and his team, and they took the utmost care of all of my items including my disabled mom’s medical equipment. They just didn’t drop things off-ensured my things were in the correct rooms and unwrapped. They were careful not to hit any walls, floors, stairs, etc. I felt fully informed of all of my options, and how the costs worked (this was good as I was not sure how many trucks/team members I needed). I am not sure how they were so nice and accommodating considering my move was in one of the hottest days of the year, but they were. I highly recommend this company to anyone moving local, or a great distance.

Excellent communication from the scheduling phone call to the day of service. Steve and his crew, Tony, Torian, and DQ were courteous and careful throughout the entire process. We had a three stop move from both a storage unit and an apartment to our home. They worked efficiently and expeditiously while being respectful of our belongings. Great moving experience! We’ve moved a lot over the last few years, and SCM was the best and most affordable by a significant margin. The actual guys moving were really professional and nice and got all the furniture put back together well.

2 stars is being generous and given SOLELY for the excellent customer service before and after the move.

Starting from the beginning: the representative who helped me book my service was amazing. Mary answered all my questions with confidence and genuine warmth. She was incredibly personable. Her customer service was truly 10/10.

Day of the move:
For context, I was moving out of state from Houston, relocating items from my one-bedroom apartment and office into a PODS container parked in my complex’s lot. I had booked a two-person crew for two hours (based on past experience where that setup was sufficient).

Unfortunately, the morning of my move, the elevator in my building broke. I immediately contacted the operations manager at Square Cow Moovers (SCM) to ask if an additional mover could be added to help with the stairs. Although they couldn’t send another mover, James (the operations manager) was extremely communicative, professional, and kind throughout. Again, 10/10 for customer service.

Around 12:04 p.m., I received a call letting me know the movers were 20 minutes away. They arrived closer to 12:40. Normally, I wouldn’t have minded, Houston traffic is no joke, but I later learned that billing starts when the crew leaves their post, NOT when they actually arrive or begin moving furniture.

Once the movers arrived, they came upstairs to assess what big items needed to be moved: my king-size bed, L-shaped couch, and vanity desk. After signing the documents on an iPad, they got started right away. Inside, they worked efficiently, wrapping the couch and bed quickly and handling everything with care. Because the elevator was out, they had to carry everything down THREE flights of stairs, which I recognize made the job much harder.

After about two hours, they had ONLY finished the larger pieces, and I still had a significant amount left in the apartment. I asked for an estimate on how much longer it would take, and one mover said, “It shouldn’t take that long, maybe another hour.” I agreed to continue and pay the extra cost.

Unfortunately, after that additional hour, there was still a lot left — two TVs (which they appeared to forget, as I later found them placed in the bathroom), a bike, and many moving bags. While one mover seemed to be working steadily, the other was much slower, which was frustrating given the added time and cost. I eventually stopped the job once the total cost exceeded my original estimate by more than $230!

After they left, I went down to inspect the PODS container and immediately realized how poorly it had been packed. In my pre-move instructions, I was told to leave out comforters to wrap fragile items like TVs, but the movers didn’t use them. One of my TVs was standing upright on the floor of the container, completely unsecured, almost guaranteed to break during transport, while another was prompted on the side of the container. On top of that, the POD was packed so inefficiently that there was no room left for my remaining items. I ended up spending HOURSSS unpacking and repacking everything myself just to make space, and in the process discovered a huge amount of wasted room toward the back of the container, clear evidence of careless loading!

I immediately called James, who only refunded the cost of the extra hour, which I appreciated. However, that didn’t make up for the stress and lost time. Because I was moving out of state and had planned to drive overnight, this delay and extra PERSONAL LABOR pushed my departure back until 1 a.m., forcing me to spend additional money on hotels during the drive.

Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing. While the customer service from Mary and James was exceptional, the actual moving service fell far short, from the poor time management to the careless loading and packing. I had really high hopes for Square Cow Moovers based on their customer service prior to the movers, but unfortunately, I wouldn’t hire them again or recommend them to family or friends.

I’m 46 years old and this has been the best moving experience of my life. Enrique, Tristan and Aaron are awesome outrageous perfect movers, literally had me move with LOTS of stuff from first floor to second floor within 2.5 hours. They came ready to bust out the move with equipment and professional looking and clean. Very nice too…this was my first moving company and I’m always going to use one now and it’ll be Square Cow Movers! HIGHLY recommended!!! Oh…they even put my bed together…I hate putting it up! 10 STARS

WE LOVE SQUARE COW MOVERS. We used them for our big house move from HOU to AR and then I trusted them again for LABOR WORK to load my father’s belongings onto a truck. Chris, Daniel & James were polite , kind to my father (&me) , and went above and beyond to help get this job done in a sufficient time. They worked hard, took no break and pushed forward to prepare my father’s belongings for a safe trip to AR. I wished I would have taken a picture of the professional Tetris work of the truck done by the team. Amazing guys. Thank You 🙏🏼 I wish I could hire your labor work in AR.
