Houston North saved us over $100,000. A previous vendor had diagnosed our chiller as unrepairable and needing replacement - a cost of well over $100,000. We asked Houston North to give us a bid on replacing the chiller and they asked if they could first check the system. They did and they discovered a valve had not been closed properly. That's it. System has been running perfect for over a year now. I cannot say enough about Houston North's honesty and integrity.

I chose Bodensteiner from a neighbor referral and I’m so glad I did. I had a warranty issue on a 9 yr old unit and they worked diligently to get it straightened out. They communicated all details clearly and timely plus saved me money. Highly recommend.

Had a good first experience with Bodensteiner. Was getting some rattling noise from our furnace. Called Bodensteiner and Blain came by the next morning. After tightening up the nuts on the screws that hold the inducer motor to the assembly the rattling was gone. Blain was polite and efficient, and we’ll probably be giving Bodensteiner a call the next time we have HVAC needs.

Mr Bodenstein was professional and courteous, and arrived at 8 am on a Saturday. He didn't charge me for a capacitor because I had replaced that myself. He added 3.61 lbs of r410A, at a reasonable rate of $76 per pound, checked my coils in the attic, observed no large leaks, and the house was cool again. Thank you!

A/c unit started making interesting noises. Got an appointment the same day. Service was fast, efficient, and affordable. Only team to use in Houston.

This is our first experience with Bodensteiner, and we are SO grateful to have made the change from our former service company. Scheduling an appointment was easy and quick, the office staff was wonderfully responsive, the technician who came out—Blain—was a knowledgeable, gracious, honest professional! He immediately recognized the the problem our compressor (quite new and purchased via a different company and functioning properly) was experiencing, he requested that the office staff check on the machine warranty, and recommended the needed replacement at a very reasonable cost, only for the labor involved. We are so appreciative and will continue to work with Bodensteiner for all future AC and heating needs! An absolutely excellent experience!

I’m so glad I called this company. Luckily ChatGPT recommended them for my area. They answered the day after Christmas and were at my house within the hour. Our AC had stopped cooling overnight. What I suspected was wrong was what they found. The part was replaced immediately and my house is cool again within 30 min. Very good price and our new preferred HVAC company!

Bodensteiner is first class IMO. They are honest, professional, & have high integrity. What more can you ask for in a service provider? Story is below.

My wife and I purchased an older home in 2021 that was remodeled the same year we purchased it. It was remodeled before being listed. However we missed it, we were not aware that our HVAC equipment (attic & outside unit) were both new in 2021 wherever we bought the home.

In fact, because the home is older and had older looking “hard” ductwork and older looking insulation, we presumed the equipment was older as well.

The HVAC system passed inspection but it was never mentioned by the inspector or the selling agent that the equipment was all new. We even negotiated down on the home at a time when homes were not going down off asking price.

Not long after buying the home we hired a “professional” local company (NOT BODENSTEINER) to come give us an assessment on the current HVAC system. What we were told was that our system was “very old” and would need a full replacement with new ductwork, insulation, return air, etc. The quote was nearly $35k. We had just bought the home and were not going to spend that. I remember thinking I hope we can make it last the next year or two.

Since then I have kind of lived in fear of keeping the system “going” for a few years until we could replace and make new everything that needed replacing. I have hired two other companies (NOT BODENSTEINER) to come out to perform annual maintenence and make assessments. No one has ever mentioned the age of the new equipment, and one company gave me an estimate of $15k for the new equipment not including new ductwork or new insulation.

IMAGINE my JOY whenever after contacting Bodensteiner to come out for an evaluation plus potential maintenence, it was quickly relayed to me by their technician (Alan) that I had new equipment manufactured in 2021 which also STILL HAD A WARRANTY ON IT. WHAT!?

Alan recommended changing a component on the outside unit due to a low voltage reading (under warranty) and then blowing out my AC condensate line. Alan said my ductwork although older was actually premium ductwork that was very durable and was much better than the “flimsy” ductwork often utilized today. Alan also said my insulation is fine.

Alan said all we needed was to maintain the system with maintenence once a year and we should be fine for the foreseeable future!

Bodensteiner made my entire month! I am telling everyone on my street to call Bodensteiner if they want quality service and integrity.

Egregious customer service, incomplete ‘service’ checks and company has a practice of double billing for missed issues. Will not be recommending Bodensteiner and seeking service elsewhere

Responding to clarify some inaccuracies by the owner. Technician was called for a dead panel and was asked to look over the system as we are new owners. This company has serviced our house for years. The technician knew shockingly little about the system. He didn’t know which system was draining which overflow pan, which unit was upstairs/downstairs. He told me he checked the system to ensure it was working properly after replacing batteries. Not only did he miss an entirely blocked line, he had no idea it was even there or where to find it. I had to call the company to point this out. I was then told this would be charged separately to fix. This is unacceptable and unprofessional business practice. Also good luck getting in contact as they do not answer the phone, I called probably 5 times over a week.

Blaine was great. Appreciate the clarity and communication. The entire team was efficient, friendly, easy to work with and schedule. Will continue to use for all heating/cooling needs.

I have been using Bodensteiner Services for over 25 years and they have always been professional, reliable, and communicative which is missing in so many companies today. Their knowledge and expertise are evident in the service they provide. I have recommended them to clients and family and everyone has thanked me for the recommendation. Hank was prompt and polite. He got our old heating system up and running within a few minutes. He could have easily tried to sell us new parts and we would not have known any difference. Hank was honest and demonstrated an high level of integrity. Going forward, we will use BSI for all our HVAC needs.
