EDIT: So it turns out there was some minor damage to one of our dampers after our cleaning. Where most companies would’ve walked away and blamed it on something else, these guys stepped up and paid to have it fixed. They were kind and understanding. They didn’t try to blame it on something or someone else. It wasn’t a big deal and stuff happens, but I appreciate the honestly and the way they handled it. I’d definitely use them again just because of that.

Thanks for the quick turnaround work. My AC and furnace unit was pretty dirty as previous tenant was very messy. Plus he had smoked inside house causing cigarette odor to contaminate unit. Crew came out and did a thorough clean up over a a span of 3-4hours. Before and after photos were night and day difference.

Update: Company charges extra for use of credit card which was an additional $75.80 with final bill $1970.80. Attempting to pay with the credit card initially failed. Thinking there may be issue with card I used another card. Later I came to realize that I was double charged on two different credit card; however, what annoyed me was somehow the first bill was lot higher than anticipated ($1,989.75). Now I have to go fight to get the extra charge removed. While the work is commendable, the billing practice is questionable.

Update: Jasmine was great to follow up on this issue and was able to get the extraneous charge reversed.

Mori and team were amazing. Mori took and showed me picture of the dirty state of all the vents and explained how the team would clean. He was very patient and answered all questions. He was very detailed and went beyond the call of duty to help us switch out the dryer vent to a flexible one and sealed it nicely. This was for my elderly parents’ new place and Mori was so kind and patient in explaining things to them. Now everyone in the building wants to use Mori!

We had three other hvac companies come to assess and give us quotes. What stood out immediately is that Omri is not only very professional and polite, he was extremely knowledgeable and CONFIDENT when conveying what needs to be done. This made us feel comfortable in choosing them to do the work. He and his team did not rush when working. They were so thorough and again they had the most professional and pleasant demeanor the entire time. They go above and beyond what you’d normally expect and we are grateful for this. Great experience with them! I received quotes from 3 different HVAC/air duct cleaning companies and Quality Air was by far the most knowledgeable and professional with competitive pricing in comparison to the others. Very happy with the whole experience and results, would recommend!

It was pretty fast to set up a free estimate with the owner, Hadi.

I explained my situation with a nonfunctional compressor motor; he took a look at everything and provided three options (single stage; two stage; and variable). For the single stage, given the efficiency of newer units and my square footage, he actually recommended going down half a ton for the compressor, which is what I ended up going with.

On the day, Hector, showed up on time with his crew and installed the new compressor, evaporator coil, thermostat and cleaned everything up in about half a day.

We’ll see about longevity, but it working well so far.

The only unusual thing was that Hector said he was giving me a better thermostat, but it was the same one listed on my estimate. Probably a miscommunication but it seemed like he was trying to make me feel like he was doing me a favor when it was exactly what we had agreed upon.

Anyway, very minor nonissue. Everything else went smoothly.

With the hot summer Houston heat and a 21 year old HVAC system, our unit was about on its last leg. I researched HVAC companies in Houston and Hage Energy was one of the results. The 5 star rating based on so many reviews caught my eye and that didn't disappoint.

I put in a request for a service call on a Sunday afternoon and Hadi called me back within 30 minutes. We set a consultation for that Monday. Obviously at 21 years the best option was for a full system replacement. Hector and his crew arrived at 7AM the next day to begin the replacement. They were done around 1:30PM. The difference in the ability of the system is amazing. Our old system would struggle to get it to 78 degrees until the sun set and seem to run constantly. The new one can get it there and even have time to turn off.

They were very professional, laid down drop clothes and completely cleaned up after themselves, including removing all of the old equipment. You would never even know they were here, except for the fact that the house now is cool.

If you are in the need for HVAC service in Houston, I would definitely recommend them (and have already done so to a few friends - one who got a new system 2 days after us).
