From workmanship to customer service, Shaylian provides top-notch service. We had a serious mold problem in our vents that was making our clothes and belongings moldy. Not only did they provide exceptional mold remediation from our entire AC system, Bar identified the reason for the mold growth (leaks in the attic between the vents to the AC system itself) and repaired them. He also cleaned out our AC drip-pipes for better overall AC performance. Very clear why they have all 5-stars. Can not recommend them enough for any AC service needs.

I have never cleaned the air duct and dryer vent since I moved into this house because I didn’t know there is such thing until I started noticing there is black spot near where the ac blows out. I called them in the morning and they came the same day. Fast and professional service! Highly recommended! They also showed me the before and after photos! Great service, he was extremely helpful and very professional. I just moved into my house and there was mold in every vent cover. He was so great and took care of everything. The house smelled 100 time fresher once he replaced everything. I cannot recommend Shaylian air duct enough.

Bar was professional, informative and efficient in successfully cleaning, repairing and re-ducting my dryer vent exhaust. We were very pleased with his work. Thus far, I would definitely recommend Bar for ongoing maintenance and repair.

Barr came out to give us a quote that was very reasonably priced for a dryer vent installation. He explained two different options for routing the vent and the pros and cons for each. The two quotes varied drastically in price, but the cheaper option/the recommended option was also less of a fire hazard. Barr came to do the actual installation as well and was very quick, efficient, and did a great job. He was honest and polite and I would highly recommend. (Sorry if I misspelled your name!)

Unprofessional, Unethical, and Unlicensed - Avoid This Business at All Costs!!!

I reached out to this business for help with my broken AC on Thumbtack last Friday. Mr. Bar responded and showed up on Saturday. He hooked up some gauges and claimed my AC was low on Freon, charging me $475 to refill 5 pounds of it. After he left, the AC still didn't work, because it turned out there was an evaporator coil leak.

I informed Bar the same day and he came back the next Sunday but said he COULD NOT inspect for the leak and would have to call his "master" to handle it. No one showed up on Sunday or Monday.

By Tuesday, after suffering in a 95-degree house for two days (which I informed Bar about over the phone multiple times), I had enough and found another technician who replaced the evaporator coil and fixed my AC.

When I negotiated with Bar for a refund on the Freon, he refused, claiming:

(1) He was saving me money by only refilling Freon.
(2) It's his standard procedure to fill Freon if the gauges indicate it's low, and he would only do further checks if that didn't work.
(3) It was my fault for not waiting for his “Master” to perform a further leak check.

To make matters worse, I later discovered that Bar is not even LICENSED to do HVAC work in Texas. He should NEVER have touched my AC, hooked up gauges, or refilled the Freon.

Avoid this business AT ALL COSTS. They have no issue operating unethically and illegally. Do yourself a favor, call TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation) to verify their qualifications before you even consider contacting them for any work. Based on my experience, I would caution anyone against hiring them for any work.

My dryer & it’s vent had a lot of lint in it and had not been cleaned in over a year. I started to smell a burning smell, so I called Shaylian Air Duct Cleaning and this company was able to come and service my house that very same day. Bar, the owner/specialist, who came to service my house, was extremely personable, polite and professional. He was thorough and quickly found the issue, fixed everything and charged a reasonable price with a 6 month warranty. I was able to immediately use my dryer. I highly recommend this business! They are honest, professional and efficient.
