So refreshing to encounter professionals who do a great job and have incredibly responsive customer service. We've called them 3 times in the past two years. Always stop by same day or next day. And we shopped around, they give the best price.

Once again, Mike Ball Irrigation (MBI), was able to assist me with restoration of my irrigation systems after the failed during our recent freezing weather. I was able to procure the necessary parts from out of state in order to restore my systems to working order. MBI was able to quickly replace the damaged parts once I received them. I of course will be reaching out to MBI in the future.

Angel and the team did a great job, and cleaned up very well. When I saw them digging up the yard I thought it was going to be a mess but after they were done you could hardly tell they had been there. My only minor complaint is that it took a long time to schedule the work and the office was unresponsive a times.

I called Mike Ball Irrigation on a Monday morning and scheduled a service call for Wednesday morning. Angel showed up on time and fixed 5 sprinkler heads, inspected and adjusted the rest and programmed our control box. Very fast and professional, I am very pleased with the service.

Review of the bidding process: Very accommodating and willing to work within my budget. Extremely responsive and reliable throughout the bidding process. Arrived on promptly. Looking at using Mike's services in the future. Communicates very well!

Mike came out within an hour to look at a busted irrigation due to the extreme cold we have had. He had two estimates for me one was for $$ to repair and $$$ to replace. Once he got here he looked at it and said it was just a replace for $$. I was relieved!! He showed me how to properly winterize the irrigation valves (whys, back flow, main drinking pipe -extremely informative), consult on draining issue on other side of house, and shoveled back all the mulch/dirt that came up from the bust back into the flower bed - all in about 25 min! He was very personable and didn't judge me for not knowing about winterizing my sprinkler system! Definitely a good choice for irrigation/draining needs!

I called and person on phone said someone would get back to me. Apparently, someone did call the next day, but I missed the call. I did not know this and called back two weeks later. I can not understand why the person who called me did not try again, but oh well. Was told again someone would call me. This time I did get a call from Mark a few days later.

Went over details of what I needed with him and he told me that my project would be in the $5000-$7000 range and he wanted to be sure I understood that before setting up an appointment. He then went on to say that their minimum for any project is $3000 and that they are not just regular landscaping guys. I said OK, that I was comfortable with scoping the project to be somewhere between $3k and $5k, which is what my budget is. He said he would get back to me in a day or two to schedule him coming by as he lived somewhere "close" to me. It's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard back from him.

Working with Mike Ball irrigation was a pleasure. They do outstanding work and communicate well. If I had any questions they were answered promptly and professionally. Should I have the need for their type of services in the future I will not hesitate to contact them.

We had to have a large portion of our driveway replaced. Mike and his team did a great job and everything went smoothly. We were especially thankful for the care they took in cleaning up after such a messy project. I would highly recommend them.

Mike and his team came in behind a mistake that I made in selecting a neighborhood contractor for drainage and sod in the backyard. I was very pleased with their work, particularly the expertise and skills putting my sprinkler system back in working order. I highly recommend Mike Ball and his professional team for any landscape, sprinkler or flagstone.

Company agreed to extend back yard paved area to side walkway. Stones were added but were not laid to allow proper draining of rainwater along fence. The level of stones were lower than requested and loose gravel instead of solid gravel was installed around pieces of stone. The result is unattractive and allows ponding on nearby flower bed. After 10 weeks of failed promises to come out and look at the problem this company has ceased to communicate with me. Update
Company came back to redo walkway. I have changed from 2 stars to 3 stars because appearance is marginally better but loose gravel was again used around stones. A recent rain showed no remedial grading was performed. Now my 80 yr old husband is fixing these issues. This company did not listen our requirements. Do not recommend Mike Ball Irrigation.

Mike Ball does it again...despite the crazy winter storm that we had in Texas, Mike and his team found a way to come out and the job done. They went above and beyond to fix the job. I highly recommend Mike Ball Irrigation if you want quality work with no headaches. Everything about this company is first class!

Called Mike Ball Irrigation and spoke to receptionist on the project I needed an estimate for. She said she had all the information and would have someone get back get to me as soon as possible. A WEEK later and no has contacted me. I give it a pass and call them again. This time a gentleman answers and says he's Mike's brother, I give him all the information again on my project and he assures me someone will get back to me within 24 hours. Its been over TWO WEEKS now and still have not heard from them. What a Mickey Mouse operation that is clueless on how to take care of the customer.

Mike and his team installed pavers for us, as well as fixed my sprinkler system. I had a very small area I wanted paved and Mike was only one of two companies to return my call. Mike was flexible, priced fairly, and was very communicative throughout the entire process.

As for the sprinkler work, I had called another company previously; they claimed I would need a $500 part to fix my issue. I bought that part for half the price, installed it myself, and still could not get the system to work. Mike's team figured out that this part was not actually the issue at all, fixed my system, and had everything working, along with a repair of two busted sprinkler heads (thanks Centerpoint!) And all in under 2 hours.

I am extremely pleased with all the work! I highly recommend Mike for any irrigation needs, as well as paver installation. I would not hesitate to call Mike in the future, should the need arise.

The young man arrived at the scheduled time. That was refreshing. I explained the sprinkler issue I was having. He appeared familiar with the symptoms. He did some testing, located where he believed the problem existed. He took the time to explain what needed to be done. He had the parts for repair and was done pretty quickly. We ran the sprinkler system and everything was fine. He also adjusted a couple of sprinklers for me. He made a few recommendations to improve the system and potentially save water. I need to look into those suggestions and perhaps make some changes. If we decide on the changes I will definitely call Mike Ball for the job.
Overall I am very satisfied. I’d recommend Mike Ball Irrigation to anyone needing sprinkler repair or replacement.

Part way through this whole mess of a pandemic, I was walking through my yard and realized that a whole section of my grass was dying. I ran through the zones and found that one of them had just up and quit.

I messaged Mike Ball Irrigation through Yelp, and they were quick to respond and set up a time for Angel to come out and take a look. I mentioned to him that we had some COVID concerns and I'd be wearing a mask, and he also masked up to keep our family safe! He was kind, responsive, and crazy efficient.

In less than an hour he had replaced a valve and a tweaked a few other options to keep our yard as good as new! Will definitely call them again - thanks again for everything.

I chose Mike Ball Irrigation from 3 bids. Chris Hall met with me and gave not only an estimate but ideas to help with drainage. They put in a very nice walkway in my backyard and really did a fantastic job. Their employees were very skilled and made sure everything was done as expected. Getting estimates on a couple other jobs in my yard based on the excellent experience I had.

I contacted this company on March 23rd And scheduled an appointment for someone to come out for an estimate for a new sidewalk and all new gutters. The appointment was for the following Tuesday. The morning of the appointment they called to reschedule due to an emergency. We rescheduled for the following Tuesday. At that time, Christian came out and I went through the jobs that I wanted to do. New gutters were what we needed done first and soon after to do a new front sidewalk. I also showed the back yard for a new patio and large pavers to do at a later date. He told me give him a few days to do the quote gutters and sidewalk. Never have heard back.

Mike Ball Irrigation installed my sprinkler system and landscaped my front lawn. It was a large undertaking as I live on a corner lot and had a walkway that needed to be replaced. They sent a large crew that worked hard for 5 days and completed the job with clean up. They were professional and courteous. I was very pleased with the results.

It's unfortunate that I have to leave this review because they actually did a good job on my backyard. I hired him to install artificial turf. He was more expensive than the three other quotes that I got but I went with him because he said his method was better than what the other guys offer. It was right before the freezes started. He told me that they had left my sprinkler system winter ready (draining and purging my sprinkler lines) so I took his word for it and didn't bother to drain my sprinkler lines myself as I do every year.

When the freeze came some of my lines snapped as they were not properly drained. Once Mike (the owner) found out about it he refused to answer my calls. I emailed, texted, called and left several msgs and he never once called back. I had to hire a plumber to come replace the broken brass and replace some pvc pipes. This should have been warrantied but obviously it was not. Extremely poor customer service and definitely will not back up any of his work. Watch out with this guy, once he gets your money he's gone.

They designed my sprinkler system to best fit the needs of my lawn. Showed up on time, did exactly what they said they would do. Used the best quality sprinkler parts. The team worked fast, and when they were done they put my yard back together, you could barely tell they worker on it.

I had cheaper quotes from others, but you really get what you pay for, and his prices are very fair for the great work they do. When they were done Mike came out and showed me how to use everything with a in depth walk through.

Could not be happier, they are great to work with. I highly recommend Mike Ball and his guys.
