Wabash is AMAZING!! We always find what we want and the staff helps us make the right decisions for our plant purchases. Highly recommend them!!

We've been visiting this feed and garden store in its original and new location since we moved to Texas in 1996. As kids we loved seeing all the animals and looking at all the fun things they stock, and now my kids love it almost a generation later. The staff is always kind, knowledgeable and ready to help.

Adorable area with kind and helpful staff! I came here to find a bird feeder for my school project, and they were efficient and guided me to find the best feeder for my needs. The environment is also maintained well and welcoming. Happy Holidays 🎄

They have just about everything you might need for gardening to live stock feed, books, hats, tools, and of course small live stock such as chickens, ducks and rabbits. Call them for availability. I was surprised to find avocado plants and small citrus trees. It's a bit early for a lot of plants but they do have a good stock to chose from. Very happy I came by. Staff is very helpful and courteous.

They had a lot of variety of plants. It's a great time to visit this plant nursery. Also take note that they offer classes on a variety of lessons. When I went today they were speaking about growing your own shitake and oyster mushrooms at home. Also loved the local kitty I saw wandering around the place.

This is definitely my favorite place to go for all my gardening needs. I love how family-friendly they are! My daughter loved seeing all the chickens, ducks, and rabbits. The staff are all friendly, helpful, and welcoming, especially Cindy. I highly recommend checking them out.

This place rules. The staff have been so helpful and patient in giving me lots of tips on setting up a raised garden bed, Im really glad I stopped by. They source great quality products too which are a little bit pricier but they’ve been worth it so far. It’s such a neat store to go visit, I definitely recommend it

The Avocado tree I bought (and it was not cheap) was completely rotten at the root ball. There were almost no roots. Just a rotten mess. Very disappointed. Would never shop here again. See the photos.

Note i responded to their question over a month ago and they still don't care. Do NOT buy pullets from them unless you don't care if they are roosters because they will NOT make it right and take him back and give you an actual pullet like they sold you... but you will pay them $10 for this experience.
Staff are all very nice and friendly. Plants are gorgeous and healthy. Their chickens are beautiful and healthy.
Only buy roosters or straight run from them though. They do not care if they sell you a pullet that is really a rooster. If you buy a pullet and it is really a rooster they will not replace him with an actual pullet.
I guess I just don't understand.
I bought 2 pullets. I asked what happens if they aren't hens. I was told if one turned out to be a rooster, I could bring it back and they would take care of me because I was buying pullets, not straight run. So when my beautiful pullet turned out to be a gorgeous rooster that just loves the sound of his own voice, my husband made me take him back. To me, if the girl we sold you turns out to be a boy bring it back and we will take care of you, means they will take the boy they sold me as a girl and replace him with a girl. Thats not what happened. I was very grumpily given $10 as a separate transaction.
If they sell a pullet for $30 and a rooster for $30 and a straight run for $30, but they sell a pullet and it's a rooster and you take it back, and they give you $10 and sell it for $30...then on missexed pullets that are brought back they make $50.. and didn't have to raise or feed it. What incentive do they have to care if your pullet is really a girl when they almost double their money by selling you a baby rooster? I was penalized $20 plus the months of food and care and gas and time because they are FAR from me...because they sold me a rooster when I bought a pullet.
Mistakes happen. But i went to them a specifically bought a girl chicken. They sold it as a girl. Not as take your chances straight run, nit as a rooster, but a pullet. If they made a mistake, they should apologize and take the return and give me what i actually purchased. That is what any other store or even restaurant would do.
The guy said he was positive the pullet i came home with today is a girl. I hope so because now this is a $50 pullet. I am spending $80 for 2 pullets now, to other people's $60.
Seems kinda shady to me.
Response to their question: I bought 2 young Easter Egger pullets for $30 each. I thought the whole point of paying $30 for an older pullet that had its feathers would mean i was actually getting a girl if y'all sold it as such. If I had paid $8-10 WHY on earth would I complain about getting $10 back. If I bought a fluffy chick I would be way more understanding when it was really a roo. I said when I was getting my money I didn't understand why I was getting $10 or why it was a separate transaction when I was bringing back the *girl* I had bought that was definitely not a girl and getting a girl that the guy they said is specifically the chicken person inspected her and assured me she was a girl (he looked closely because he thought it might be a boy but then he said he was sure it was a girl so I trusted him.) -
My experience here has always been great. The staff is always help and knowledgeable if I have any questions. All in all I would recommend this feed store.

This place is a whole vibe. Beautiful plants, happy chickens, and a huge variety—from livestock feed to local vendor goods. The clearance racks are gold, and there’s so much to walk through, you’ll lose track of time (in the best way). You can tell everything here is cared for with love.

No issues, we love walking in and seeing how beautifully kept things are and we bought baby chicks! They have grown soo much!♥️ thank you so much♥️ We love our chickens!
We had them temporarily in a crib until we could start building a much bigger home for them. There are three! A black one, a white one and a crested one. They have grown a lot from when I have gotten them. they were about a week old♥️when we first got them.
Update:: I just found out… one of my chicks is a male😅 so now I need to figure out what I’m supposed to do
I keep updating the post. -
We live next door to a property they maintain, the workers blow the garbage and cover our cars with debris weekly.
