Landscaping reviews in Houston, Texas

From what I was told by management at my apartment complex, these guys are supposed to begin work at 8:00am. In most cases they are at my window with a weed eater as early as 7:20am. I’ve made multiple complaints to my apartment complex and to the actual workers but no one seems to speak English.

Just witnessed the workers dumping a blue tarp full of all the weeds and trimmings onto an empty lot next to townhomes they were servicing. Contacted supervisor Raul who tried to argue with what I witnessed after I approached workers to tell them they can’t dump items like that. Im so sick of people knowingly doing the wrong thing!

One of their workers kicked a rock through my back window in my car. They are non - responsive to emails or contact requests. I have not heard anything from them once I sent three quotes to fix; it, which they had requested. I have a broken window and they have not contacted me once to make it right. I would stay away unless you have time to take them to small claims court for their workers destruction of property.

My husband and I just finished our project with Klein! Working with them has been seamless from start to finish.

Just some background - over the past couple of months, I had reached out to at least 10 contractors for our drainage and landscaping needs for an older home we recently purchased. Only 4 companies got back to me with an estimate, and we decided to go with Klein Landscaping due to the great reviews, responsiveness, willingness to work with us, and value.

I had been in contact with Eduardo, who came out to see what my vision and needs were. He was very responsive, flexible, not pushy, and had my best interests at heart (working with what I already had at my house to maximize results within the budget), and I loved that he had a positive attitude. He got back to me with a quote shortly, and I needed to make some changes, so he came back out again to talk it over with me.

My house is over 40 years old so this was no easy project to add 165 feet of yard drainage, clean up, level and grade my courtyard to maximize drainage, and clean up the garden beds in front that had been very neglected, in addition to grading some other areas.

In total, the project took 6 days. Eduardo's foreman, Enrique, and his 2 team members were sweet, polite, and very hardworking. Enrique is a perfectionist, and put my mind at ease because I knew he understood my vision and was going to execute it to perfection. Enrique is very detail oriented, and took the time to answer all of my questions and explain to me the process of the project. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work as it is very reflective in their quality. They also left my house cleaner than it was before they came, haha. And, payment was easy.

I couldn't be happier with the results. It is better than I could have imagined, and most importantly, I now have great drainage. I would recommend Klein Landscaping 1000% and would go with them again in a heart beat! Thank you so much, Eduardo, Enrique, & team!

Eduardo (the owner) seems nice however he’s just not reliable. He gave me his word several times that he’d provide a quote for my project but never did. It is concerning because if this is his pattern he’d likely be unreliable in completing the project. For that reason I wouldn’t recommend.

Klein Nursery & Landscaping did an excellent job cleaning and renovating flower beds. The team was very thorough and meticulous; much appreciated. I would have given a five, but did not because they trimmed my oak trees without my permission. I only asked that the “Small SPRIGS” sprouting on the side of tree be cut off and informed the owner that I use an arborist to trim branches if needed. I came home to a trailer bed filled with green branches, and only a few dead ones which I again did not ask for them to do. The removal of dead limbs was ok, but definitely not any others. If I did not arrive at that time, they would have continued to cut the remaining tree branches in the front yard and the back. Not happy at all. When I mentioned it to the owner, he apologized and stated it was miscommunication & they only removed dead branches & it wasn’t that many. Excuse me Sir, the trailer bed was filled, it was a lot and not warranted. He stated, it gave the tree canopy a lift. I reminded him again, that’s not what I ask for nor paid for. If a homeowner does not ask you to trim their trees, please do not do it! It’s not okay! Of note, there was not a partial refund for this mess up.

I would likely use them again, but they can’t trim my trees ever!

I’ve had sprinkler work done twice now (tweaks and then later repairs) and was very happy. Very responsive and these guys do good work. Would recommend.

We are so happy we chose Eduardo for our patio and front landscaping project. He took the time to understand exactly what I envisioned and helped refine the design with his own expertise. The end result feels custom and thoughtfully executed. I honestly couldn’t be any happier.

He was professional, responsive, and patient with all my questions (and even a few last-minute changes!). His crew worked hard every day and maintained such a positive attitude. You can tell they take pride in their work.

David and his team were professional, fast, and did an excellent job with our backyard drainage and patio! Highly recommend!

Kept coming over soliciting and disregarding all the neighborhood entrance no soliciting signs and a sign on our door saying no knocking, soliciting, or ringing the doorbell because we have a dog and a baby. Woke my baby two days in the past week. Tried to post a fake "missed delivery" sign on my door, like they were UPS or something. When I told him to leave twice, he continued standing around talking in my yard. Completely disrespectful and unprofessional. Who thinks they can drum up new business by disrespecting households? I will be citing him for trespassing if he comes back. Needed sprinkler repair and more on our new house, but we will be using someone with boundaries.

David and his team did a great installation of a new sprinkler system and turf in the back yard. He is very responsive and good value for money
