Beautiful place with big and healthy plants. Monsteras pictured were only $16!!!

Two racist encounters in one day by customers. Black customers and Black employees are not safe from racial harassment. I personally witnessed a white (Jewish) customer racially harassing a Black employee, attempting to force a conversation about the employee’s Blackness, and pulling other Black customers (like myself) into the situation. When confronted, he tried to disguise it as ‘small talk’ about plants — a tactic to mask his racial aggression.
Management allowed this behavior to occur unchecked.
If you are Black, be aware that your humanity may not be respected here.
Black people deserve safe spaces to work and shop without being targeted. The second encounter the customer let me know I needed to be rich to shop in the store. Shopping about plants becomes racially charged here. Disgusted with my visit and how staff is black employees are treated. -
Beautiful inventory! Staff very helpful. Saturday mornings are very busy.

I went for one specific hanging basket that my daughter bought for her house, and a guy took me right to it. Then I told him I'm not a gardener and needed help. He pointed to a man named Johnzie. He is a Godsend!!! He picked out flowers that I don't need to water but once a week (perfect for me!), and then arranged it for me! Beautiful!!

I was looking for a Bromeliad plant as improving the air quality in my place is a must and space is limited. Cornelius was out of the plant but as another option, I went with the Aloe plant. Customer service was superb as I was greeted when I walked in and from my questions directed to a gentleman who answered my care questions on the Aloe plant and advised on limiting watering and to repot in 6 months. Great job, nice gardening nursery. 😀

If you are looking for the unusual in Chrismas decor, Cornelius Nursery is the place. The miniature Poinsettias are precious

Cornelius has often been labeled as a pretentious, overpriced nursery, but that’s far from the truth! While Lowe’s and Home Depot charge $5 or more for small, drying plants in little pots, Cornelius offers exceptional quality that simply can’t be matched. I’ve discovered beautiful, hard-to-find varieties here, and the quality is unmatched anywhere else. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making every visit a pleasure. I’m truly hooked! 🤗

Beautiful nursery. The staff is very helpful. They also have a plant expert, so if your plants are not healthy take the plant or the sample to them and they will suggest. The varieties of plants are just amazing and you will find what you are searching for. I felt the price is slightly on the higher side.

We always find something cute to take home from here. Lots to choose from, plant name and prices are clearly marked. Plant prices are reasonable for most plants, planter prices are not.

Amazing nursery they have a wide selection of real/fake plants, outdoor decor, and accessories for flower arrangements!

I visited Cornelius Nursery and instantly fell in love, such beauty, from their vast array of healthy vibrant colorful floral and huge selection of plants, shrubs and trees, simply perfection. Great job to everyone at Cornelius Nursery. There were 2 employees who stood out and went above and beyond to helped me, they were both very knowledgeable, welcoming and extremely helpful, they provided me with exceptional customer service and I am very grateful, Barry and Isaiah, thank you both, you represent everything that so special and unique about Cornelius Nursery. I definitely will be returning and also telling my family and friends about this jewel of nursery.

Great place to find houseplants and yard plants! I even found a glazed turquoise planter for $15--quite the steal! I also purchased some small spider plants that I know will great in my kitchen. I recommend taking your time while walking around: there's a lot to look at 🌲🌱🌺

I have been shopping at this location for years. I have to compliment them for the excellent customer service I received the past teo weekends. The older gentleman, Barry, went above and beyond to assist me in finding the plants I was looking for. There is a young African American gentleman (unfortunately, I didn’t get his name) is also super helpful and greets everyone with a sincere smile. The lady who rung me up (I think her name is Tiffany) is also amazing. I appreciate everyone going the extra mile to make Cornelius on Voss the best nursery.

Wonderfully large and meticulously maintained nursery located just west of downtown Houston, inside Beltway 8, east side of South Voss between Westheimer and San Felipe.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. This place is full of helpful, nice people who care about their customers. Dorothy helped me craft these two beautiful potted arrangements, even though they were short staffed. I will be a customer for life.

A truly wonderful nursery, with a huge selection of various indoor/outdoor flowers, shrubs, and trees. I was very impressed. The employees were very friendly, but seemed short staffed.

My friend and I enjoyed the lovely open house. We shop here seasonally for plants and gifts and find the staff always helpful.
-
Great nursery with all types of flowers, plants, bushes, pots, and a great gift shop. The displays in the gift shop change frequently (2-3 weeks), and there are items for both home and yard.

My girlfriend loves lemons in her water so the goal was to buy a lemon tree for her to have fresh lemons whenever she likes. When we came to Cornelius, we needed help, and we go a lot. We spoke to a few different people in different areas of the nursery, and everyone was not only incredibly helpful, but knew what they were talking about. They told us about the care for the tree, pots size, best soil, and even pruning tips. In addition to the lemon tree we wanted, we ended up buying a large Alocasia Calidora (elephant ear) with large pot and soil that is beautifully on display in our living room. This place is an amazing place to go if you need help with plants or plant related info. We will be coming back in the future for anything we need in that area. Thank you Cornelius Nursery staff for all of your help.

Nice Nursery but expensive. Same time they have the best of the best . I went there to buy plants and mulch. They have best selection of Japanese Maple as well which is very hard to find . Their staff is not just very friendly but with knowledge and willing to help . Owner is very concerned person who replied to most of their reviews. Need I say more ?? 😀😀

Some of the best quality and most diverse selection. This location is better than the Katy one for sure. Antonio is helpful.
The only problem is the pricing. The plants are sometimes overpriced. If you have the time to shop around and find a deal, and you’re buying many at once, this may not be the spot. But for a onesie-twosie purchase of something special, this is the place.
