I've had backflow testing with 4 different companies over 25 years. I have to declare that TP Backflow Testing Inc. is the BEST EVER!! So mad I didn't find him earlier. Mr. Phan was very timely, efficient, knowledgeable, and responsive. What's more amazing is his price! Wow! Couldn't ask for a more stress-free, wonderful experience.

I recently had the pleasure of hiring Mr. Phan for backflow testing services at my office, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Tan not only performed the required testing with efficiency and expertise but also capped two backflows we were no longer using. Tan is very professional and quickly response personally to inquiries. I had questions about my property and the total backflow test requires. I requested tests for 2 of 3 valve. We found out later that all 3 were already performed. Tan saved me money by double checking. He has earned a life time customer!

A side note I also asked for a referral for CSI inspection. His connection was also extremely professional. He asked to make sure that my municipal would allow a outside third party inspection as some do not allow it. His rates were also half what the municipal was charging for commercial property.

I know when Peter comes out to my properties the Job gets done above and beyond. His communication of the Job completion is AMAZING. Super respectful, and professional. I can speak for most of the managers I work with and owners; when we have our weekly meetings or Board meetings if S&K was dispatched for whatever reason, Peter is announced with props. Recently another plumber was dispatched and was not happy with his communication and received a bit of rudeness. Peter was off but immediately came to help out and I felt 100x relived. I again praised Peter and thank him and his communicating regarding the issue. Peter knows most of my properties like no other and literally loves his job because Peter is the best one out there. Incredible service. I had a water heater that was installed incorrectly and causing me a bunch of problems. Steve was kind enough to not even charge me for the diagnosis since it took a solid 1 minute to figure out how bad it was. Kathy is amazing with scheduling - she responds very quick and communicates very well. They were able to get a team out to me and install a new water heater in only a couple days. They kept me updated throughout the entire installation, did not cut a single corner, stayed to make sure the hot water was functioning, and even left the area way cleaner than when they arrived. I absolutely recommend and will be using them exclusively for any future work.

I wanted to replace my shower trim, which required the entire valve to be replaced. They were able to get someone out to me the next day and completed it before lunch. The cpvc pipes had to be rearranged to fit the new valve design and the drywall behind it had to be opened up. Peter knocked this out with absolutely no problem and very little time. He had to make a hardware store run for some extra parts and didn’t charge me for the travel time. I absolutely appreciate the service. It looks great, works great, and didn’t break the bank.

I am a building inspection engineer and have worked with Professional Drain Inspectors on a couple of projects in the past with great success. They were professional to deal with and got the job done. They are one of the companies my office regularly recommends.

PDI/Michael Busch is an inspector of sewer lines through camera and hydrostatic testing. He does not do repair work so there is not a conflict either way with the findings. He also does not isolate an issue, that comes with additional testing that other companies do and usually charge by the hour. If he identifies a leak and you want to know where it is, you will need to hire someone else to find it. However, if it is an old cast iron system and a part of it is failing then it may mean the rest of it is not too far behind so many people aren’t as hung up with actually isolating it. MB is THE BEST at the services he provides and I highly recommend his company.

Michael Busch is always my recommendation when you are in the need of an honest inspection of the sewer system. My team and I have had many clients use he services when purchasing a home and he provides a thorough inspection every time.

I used Michael at PDI for the inspection of my new (to me) 1920s era home at the recommendation of my realtor. He was on time and did a thorough camera test of my sewer clean-out into the city sewer line as well as the internal drainage system. In addition to a leak test, he also turned on all the faucets and flushed all the toilets to analyze fresh water pressure response.
Michael provides a rough sketch of the sewer line location and a nice write-up which can be used for analysis of conditions.
I would recommend using Professional Drain Inspectors to anyone requiring a camera and/or leak test. The whole transaction was quick, but not rushed, Michael explained things well and I felt that the price was fair.

P.S. I think it is a smart idea to do the drain inspection after your main house inspection so that the drain inspector can review any related findings in the main inspection and investigate further if needed.

In response to S TF’s review, they likely are mistaken. Michale is PDI. There is no supervisor so the review/story can’t possibly be accurate. As a real estate agent with an avg sales price above $600k, Michael has inspected many homes for clients of ours over the last 8+ years (since I found him and started using him) at all price points. He’s always pleasant, professional and on time. Over the years, his equipment has gotten more sophisticated and consequently, more helpful to the inspection and repairs negotiations process. Coincidentally, we moved into our first home in 2013, and ended up being back neighbors with Michael. So I can say, from a professional perspective, and a social perspective, Michael is a great person to do business with.
