They helped me take care of my pool for several years in Houston; now they help me take care of my pool in Katy. I have been consistently pleased with their service.

The Pool Depot is a pool company. Consumers should be aware that none of their service technicians (pool cleaners) have an IPSSA or CPO certification. That should be a red flag to anyone looking to hire a pool company.

Very bad customer service. I complained several times that my pool had yellow spots. They always had an excuse on the reson why. I changed to another pool company and the problem was solved. My pool looks fantastic. I think they were not using enough chemicals to service my pool.

Scott is great to work with. I called The Pool Depot to come out and assess our pool equipment after ice built up and I had to disassemble the pipes and equipment during freezing temperatures and power outtages affecting Houston. Scott fit us in to his schedule and got everything up and working without delay.

Poor attention to detail.

Due to a spa heater issue, PD made 4 visits over 2 weeks. Each time they left, a portion of the system did not work). Things happen, but the uneven communication was actually more frustrating than the poor service.

Done! Which sucks, because who the hell wants to replace an active service provider...

Adding comment 20Oct 2020: New service provider, Manning Pool Service, immediately identified the Intelliflow as not functioning properly. I called Pool Depot and asked if the Intelliflow had been diagnosed during the 5 visits (yes, one more visit the day of the above post) and $2k in service. Answer was, no. 🙄.

Oh, and I asked twice for the owner to call me. No call.

Incompetent, uncommunicative, and transparent as a boot.

The service guy did not brush the pool for weekly maintenance. When I questioned him, he replied the pool did not need to brush. The weekly maintenance fees include brush pools. I quit this pool company immediately.

We have utilized the services of Pool Depot since 2007. We have NEVER had any kind of service issue. They arrive each week at the same time without fail. I never think about the pool or the maintenance of the equipment. Everything just works and if it's big, the call and discuss the problem plus my options and pricing. I highly recommend the services of The Pool Depot!!!!

Customer service does not seem to be available about 99% of the time. Lack communication and lack care for their customers. Depends on the pool cleaner about the service. Had two great pool cleaners and then got a not so good one.

Appreciate their time but again customer service is lacking in professionalism and communication and caring.

They sent a guy named Dave and another named Branf or Braff or something like that out to our house to look at our Glacier Cooler.

Dave was very rude and cussed at me when I kept asking him why he didn’t examine the Cooler pump and float switch. He also said they would no longer honor our Glacier Warranty. (The Pool Depot is a warranty center for Glacier Coolers).

We have had several instances where the float was up but the pump switch did not engage and the cooler overflowed draining our pool to about a foot below the skimmers. Dave didn’t seem to listen or understand what I was saying happened and kept insisting everything was fine. How would he know everything is fine if he didn’t even look at the parts causing the problem.

All Dave did was turn our Cooler on and watched it for about 10-15 minutes to see how it was running. Of course for that 15 minutes it was working fine. Our problem is intermittent and since he didn’t look at the parts causing the problems I can’t trust the Cooler to run over night or anytime without me having to keep a constant eye on it to make sure it doesn’t overflow and drain our pool again.

I called The Pool Depot to service my mother's pool in Houston. I live 2 hours away so I am not able to personally help my mother as often as I like. The Pool Depot sent a excellent rep over to repair my mothers pool. He was so informative that my mother knew more about the repair after he left. We appreciate your fast response and courteous attitude. Thank you

The Pool Depot saved the day! I reached out to get a quote on a pool chiller with Houston temps over 100 degrees for weeks. David was quick to respond and had the chiller installed in only a couple days! Thank you Pool Depot we can once again enjoy our pool!

After talking to a number of different companies who struggled to provide details or inspire confidence, David at Pool Depot was deeply knowledgeable on the pool chillers and was generous with his time answering questions. They showed up on time, completed the work on time, left the work area clean and provided training on the in's and out's of the newly installed system. Made for a great July 4th with 85 degree water vs. the 97 degree bath water it had been the prior several weeks.

I have been using Pool Depot for over 2 years now and have been delighted with their service. My pool is always ready for my family to swim and I've never had any issues with water quality. When I did have an issue with one of my pool pumps, Pool Depot was able to service it and they were able to get the pump replaced under warranty!

This company is awesome! I wish I had switched to them years ago! I used Monarch Pools for years twice a week and complained over and over about the pool not being clean the same day it was "supposedly cleaned" with no improvement. Then I got a quote for a new Polaris that was way over market price so I got my own and then they told me I needed a new filter pump at over $900 due to a leak. That's when I started researching my options and found The Pool Depot. They fixed the pool pump leak for around $150 or less and thank goodness I started using them to clean my pool as well. They come once a week instead of two and my costs are almost half and the pool has not looked this clean and clear in years!!! I am so happy I changed! What a difference! Thank you all at The Pool Depot for your quick response when I needed a quote and repair and your honest, good work on a regular basis!

We experienced issues with our pool, leaking air that caused the pump to fail in circulating water. After looking around at different companies, 2 of which did not meet our standards of service, The Pool Depot and specifically Phil were truly amazing. Arrived on time, polite, professional, and took time to educate us on the potential issues with our specific equipment. We were truly moved by his willingness to listen, understand, and help us gain confidence with our equipment. Highly recommend THE POOL DEPOT and feel blessed that Phil helped us with our pool issues.
