I'm very happy with them, they are good guys. Jose and Gustavo did a good, efficient job. Jose made safety recommendations without pressuring us and with our budget in mind, not like others who look for anything to sell you. I was concerned about communication because he has a thick accent but that wasn't a problem at all, he speaks English very well.

Jose and his team were so incredibly helpful, professional, timely, courteous , and all around a great experience. I’ve never worked with such a quick, efficient team of people. All work is done with great quality and most, if not all, repairs came with a lifetime warranty. Look no further than Jose and his experienced team!

Jose and Gustavo were excellent! Extremely professional and knowledgeable. They installed everything with care and shared our pride in the project - closing in our back porch to house a laundry room and small machine shop. All of the exterior mounted lines are so clean and straight. They even gave advice beyond electrical and helped us consider the best way to insulate the room to keep our energy costs down in the future. Highest possible recommendation! We will use them again.

We have had Hernandez Electric out 3 times for various jobs. This is work I had quoted prior by 3 other electrical companies, and Hernandez was by far the most honest about the work it would take. Gustavo & Jose have been wonderful, and their pricing is very fair. I would trust them with any job!

Jose & Gustavo were great! They came and fixed about a dozen GFCI’s in our outdoor kitchen and pool equipment. They had to drop and snake an isolated neutral from the attic to the outdoor pool area through conduit. They are professional, knowledgeable, and fairly priced. I really like these guys. I already have another job for them.

We had a pretty major electrical project that required the installation of a new breaker panel and miles of wiring after our exiting 40 year old panel failed. Due to current electrical code the new panel had to be relocated. That is not an insignificant task. The quality of service and diligent effort was really impressive. These guys were absolute professionals by every measure. Thank you Jose and Gustavo!

I can strongly recommend Hernandez Electrical for any home electrical repairs or improvements. They have completed two work visits to our house which included various light and ceiling fan installations, switch repairs, replacement of a bathroom exhaust fan, and some wiring repairs. Much of the work required new outlet boxes and many trips to a hot attic. Jose and Gustavo were professional, informative, and as neat as could be. Prices were reasonable (better than I’ve encountered with other electric companies in DFW). One more reason I can recommend them: I would trust them with anything.

I specifically asked the technician to verify the dip switch settings for the EV charger before he installed it and pointed out the chart in the installation guide that showed the proper settings. Before he left, I specifically asked if he checked them and he told me he did and they were in the correct positions. He didn't and left them all in the factory default OFF position. After an hour of trying to get the charger to connect to WIFI, I took the cover of the charger off myself and saw the switches had not been moved and were all in the factory default "off" setting.

Professional and very clean! They covered everything and vacuumed afterwards. Great job!

If I could I would give 10 stars. Mr Jose H was very professional and very fair. Explained everything to me. And even contacted Oncor when he realized it was an Oncor issue.
I highly recommend Hernandez electrical services and will definitely call them again when the need arises.
Mr Hernandez even called me back the next day to make sure that Oncor had repaired the issue.

I called for an assessment and estimate when lights all over my house started flickering, and Jose was there in just a couple hours. By the next evening, everything was fixed! I’ve put it through its paces in the weeks since - AC, appliances, dehumidifier running for 2 days straight - and everything is working beautifully. I’ll definitely call Hernandez Electrical Services the next time I need an electrician!

I recently moved to the Irving area when I bought my house. Turns out it the gas water heater wasn't in code so I couldn't get anyone to replace the old water heater. However, one plumber said they could come install an electric one if I had an electrician install an electric box for the electric water heater. So I called a few electricians but they all had me make an appointment for a few days out (not good when you need hot water in your new house). Finally, I called Hernandez Electrical and they came out the same day to check out the scope of the job. They completed it same day and I enjoyed their work so much I had them come back at a later date and upgrade my electrical panel.
Jose (the owner / electrician) and Gustavo are very professional and masters of their trade.

We called Hernandez Electrical Services since we noticed one of our outlets sparking when not being used. We heard from a local neighborhood website that this company is good and reliable. Gustavo arrived within an hour of calling and was able to fix our outlet quickly. He also checked other outlets to ensure they weren’t an issue as well. Gustavo made sure to explain what he was looking for and also recommended updating our breaker to bring it up to code. Although we didn’t move forward with replacing our breaker, we appreciated the additional knowledge and will probably make that update in the future. Overall, the service was quick, easy, and affordable. We’ll be sure to reach out to this company again for any future electrical issues!

The workmen were amazing. They took down
a ceiling fan and redid the switches in our bathroom! Totally will use them again soon.

They did a great job installing two light fixtures over my kitchen island, took care to protect the countertop and finished estimate and install in around an hour. Fantastic service, and friendly staff.

I called Hernandez Electrical to replace a pool pump timer box. In part because they are local. I've lived in Irving all my life and believe in supporting local businesses. The original pump timer setup was over 40 6ears old and after discussing the situation with them, I decided on some changes that would make the setup safer and more secure. I am very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend Hernandez Electrical.
